3 Henoch, Methushelah, Lamech,
Henoch, Methusalah, Lamech,
4 Noah, She, Ham, and Iapheth.
Noah, Sem, Ham, Japheth.
5 The sonnes of Iapheth were Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Iauan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
Die Kinder Japheths sind diese: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Thubal, Mesech, Thiras.
6 And the sonnes of Gomer, Ashchenaz, and Iphath and Togarmah.
Die Kinder aber Gomers sind: Askenas, Riphath, Thogarma.
7 Also the sonnes of Iauan, Elishah and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.
Die Kinder Javans sind: Elisa, Tharsisa, die Chittiter, die Dodaniter.
8 The sonnes of Ham were Cush, and Mizraim, Put and Canaan.
Die Kinder Hams sind: Chus, Mizraim, Put, Kanaan.
9 And the sonnes of Cush, Siba and Hauilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. Also the sonnes of Raamah were Sheba and Dedan.
Die Kinder aber von Chus sind: Seba, Hevila, Sabtha, Ragma, Sabthecha. Die Kinder aber Ragmas sind: Saba und Dedan.
10 And Cush begate Nimrod, who began to be mightie in the earth.
Chus aber zeugte Nimrod; der fing an, gewaltig zu sein auf Erden.
11 And Mizraim begate Ludim and Anamim, Lehabim, and Naphtuhim:
Mizraim zeugte die Luditer, die Anamiter, die Lehabiter, die Naphthuhiter,
12 Pathrusim also, and Casluhim, of whome came the Philistims, and Caphtorim.
die Pathrusiter, die Kasluhiter, von welchen sind ausgegangen die Philister, und die Kaphthoriter.
13 Also Canaan begate Zidon his first borne, and Heth,
Kanaan aber zeugte Sidon, seinen ersten Sohn und Heth,
14 And the Iebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
den Jebusiter, den Amoriter, den Girgasiter,
15 And the Hiuuite, and the Arkite, and the Simite,
den Heviter, den Arkiter, den Siniter,
16 And the Aruadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
den Arvaditer, den Zemariter und den Hamathiter.
17 The sonnes of Shem were Elam and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Vz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
Die Kinder Sems sind diese: Elam, Assur, Arphachsad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Gether und Mesech.
18 Also Arpachshad begate Shelah, and Shelah begate Eber.
Arphachsad aber zeugte Salah; Salah zeugte Eber.
19 Vnto Eber also were borne two sonnes: the name of the one was Peleg: for in his dayes was ye earth deuided: and his brothers name was Ioktan.
Eber aber wurden zwei Söhne geboren: der eine hieß Peleg, darum daß zu seiner Zeit das Land zerteilt ward, und sein Bruder hieß Joktan.
20 Then Ioktan begate Almodad and Sheleph, and Hazermaueth and Ierah,
Joktan aber zeugte Almodad, Saleph, Hazarmaveth, Jarah,
21 And Hadoram and Vzal and Diklah,
Hadoram, Usal, Dikla,
22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
Ebal, Abimael, Saba,
23 And Ophir, and Hauilah and Iobab: all these were the sonnes of Ioktan.
Ophir, Hevila, und Jobab. Diese alle sind Kinder Joktans.
24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
Sem, Arphachsad, Salah,
25 Eber, Peleg, Rehu,
Eber, Peleg, Regu,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
Serug, Nahor, Tharah,
27 Abram, which is Abraham.
Abram, das ist Abraham.
28 The sonnes of Abraham were Izhak, and Ishmael.
Die Kinder aber Abrahams sind: Isaak und Ismael.
29 These are their generations. The eldest sonne of Ishmael was Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

30 Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
Misma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Thema,
31 Ietur, Naphish and Kedemah: these are the sonnes of Ishmael.
Jetur, Naphis, Kedma. Das sind die Kinder Ismaels.
32 And Keturah Abrahams concubine bare sonnes, Zimran, and Iokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah: and the sonnes of Iokshan, Sheba, and Dedan.
Die Kinder aber Keturas, des Kebsweibs Abraham: die gebar Simran, Joksan, Medan, Midian, Jesbak, Suah. Aber die Kinder Joksans sind: Saba und Dedan.
33 And the sonnes of Midian were Ephah, and Ephar, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah: All these are the sonnes of Keturah.
Und die Kinder Midians sind: Epha, Epher, Hanoch, Abida, Eldaa. Diese alle sind Kinder der Ketura.
34 And Abraham begate Izhak: the sonnes of Izhak, Esau, and Israel.
Abraham zeugte Isaak. Die Kinder aber Isaaks sind: Esau und Israel.
35 The sonnes of Esau were Eliphaz, Reuel, and Ieush, and Iaalam, and Korah.
Die Kinder Esaus sind: Eliphas, Reguel, Jeus, Jaelam, Korah.
36 The sonnes of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
Die Kinder Eliphas sind: Theman, Omar, Zephi, Gaetham, Kenas, Thimna, Amalek.
37 The sonnes of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
Die Kinder Reguels sind: Nahath, Serah, Samma und Missa.
38 And the sonnes of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
Die Kinder Seirs sind: Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana, Dison, Ezer, Disan.
39 And the sonnes of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, and Timna Lotans sister.
Die Kinder Lotans sind: Hori, Homam; und Thimna war eine Schwester Lotans.
40 The sonnes of Shobal were Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sonnes of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.
Die Kinder Sobals sind: Aljan, Manahath, Ebal, Sephi, Onam. Die Kinder Zibeons sind: Aja und Ana.
41 The sonne of Anah was Dishon. And the sonnes of Dishon, Amran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
Die Kinder Anas: Dison. Die Kinder Disons sind: Hamran, Esban, Jethran, Cheran.
42 The sonnes of Ezer were Bilhan, and Zaauan, and Iaakan. The sonnes of Dishon were Vz, and Aran.
Die Kinder Ezers sind: Bilhan, Saawan, Jaakan. Die Kinder Disans sind: Uz und Aran.
43 And these were the Kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before a King reigned ouer the children of Israel, to wit, Bela the sonne of Beor, and the name of his citie was Dinhabah.
Die sind die Könige die regiert haben im Lande Edom, ehe denn ein König regierte unter den Kindern Israel; Bela, der Sohn Beors; und seine Stadt hieß Dinhaba.
44 Then Bela died, and Iobab the sonne of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
Und da Bela starb, ward König an seiner Statt Jobab, der Sohn Serahs von Bozra.
45 And whe Iobab was dead, Hussham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
Und da Jobab starb, ward König an seiner Statt Husam aus der Themaniter Lande.
46 And when Hussham was dead, Hadad the sonne of Bedad which smote Midian in the fielde of Moab, reigned in his steade, and the name of his citie was Auith.
Da Husam starb, ward König an seiner Statt Hadad, der Sohn Bedads der die Midianiter schlug in der Moabiter Feld; und seine Stadt hieß Awith.
47 So Hadad dyed, and Samlah of Mashrecah reigned in his stead.
Da Hadad starb, ward König an seiner Statt Samla von Masrek.
48 And Samlah dyed, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the riuer reigned in his stead.
Da Samla starb, ward König an seiner Statt Saul von Rehoboth am Strom.
49 And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the sonne of Achbor reigned in his stead.
Da Saul starb, ward König an seiner Statt Baal-Hanan, der Sohn Achbors.
50 And Baal-hanan dyed, and Hadad reigned in his stead, and the name of his citie was Pai, and his wiues name Mehetabel the daughter of Matred the daughter of Mezahab.
Da Baal-Hanan starb, ward König an seiner Statt Hadad, und seine Stadt hieß Pagi; und sein Weib hieß Mehetabeel, eine Tochter Matreds, die Mesahabs Tochter war.
51 Hadad dyed also, and there were dukes in Edom, duke Timna, duke Aliah, duke Ietheth,
Da aber Hadad starb, wurden Fürsten zu Edom: Fürst Thimna, Fürst Alwa, Fürst Jetheth,
52 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
Fürst Oholibama, Fürst Ela, Fürst Pinon,
53 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
Fürst Kenas, Fürst Theman, Fürst Mizbar,
54 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these were the dukes of Edom.
Fürst Magdiel, Fürst Iram. Das sind die Fürsten zu Edom.
