1 Chronicles 5

1 The sonnes also of Reuben the eldest sonne of Israel (for he was the eldest, but had defiled his fathers bed, therefore his birthright was giuen vnto the sonnes of Ioseph the sonne of Israel, so that the genealogie is not rekoned after his birthright.

Ito ang mga anak ni Ruben na panganay ni Israel—ngayon si Ruben ang panganay na anak ni Israel, ngunit ang kaniyang karapatan bilang panganay ay ibinigay sa mga anak ni Jose na anak ni Israel dahil dinungisan ni Ruben ang higaan ng kaniyang ama. Kaya hindi siya itinala bilang panganay na anak.

2 For Iudah preuailed aboue his brethren, and of him came the prince, but the birthright was Iosephs)

3 The sonnes of Reuben the eldest sonne of Israel, were Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi.

4 The sonnes of Ioel, Shemaiah his sonne, Gog his sonne, and Shimei his sonne,

Ito ang mga lalaking kaapu-apuhan ni Joel: anak ni Joel si Semaias. Anak ni Semaias si Gog. Anak ni Gog si Simei.

5 Michah his sonne, Reaiah his sonne, and Baal his sonne,

Anak ni Simei si Mica. Anak ni Mica si Reaias. Anak ni Reaias si Baal.

6 Beerah his sonne: whom Tilgath Pilneeser King of Asshur caryed away: he was a prince of the Reubenites.

Anak ni Baal si Beera, na dinalang bihag ni Tilgat Pileser na hari ng Asiria. Si Beera ay pinuno sa tribu ni Ruben.

7 And when his brethren in their families rekoned the genealogie of their generations, Ieiel and Zechariah were the chiefe,

Ang mga kamag-anak ni Beera sa kanilang mga angkan ay ang mga sumusunod, na nakatala sa mga talaan ng kanilang angkan: Si Jeiel na panganay, Zacarias,

8 And Bela the sonne of Azaz, the sonne of Shema, the sonne of Ioel, which dwelt in Aroer, euen vnto Nebo and Baal meon.

at si Bela na anak ni Azaz na anak ni Sema na anak ni Joel. Nanirahan sila sa Aroer, hanggang sa Nebo at Baal-meon,

9 Also Eastwarde he inhabited vnto the entring in of the wildernes from the riuer Perath for they had much cattel in the land of Gilead.

at pasilangan sa simula ng ilang na hanggang sa Ilog Eufrates. Ito ay dahil marami silang baka sa lupain ng Gilead.

10 And in the dayes of Saul they warred with the Hagarims, which fell by their hands: and they dwelt in their tentes in all the East partes of Gilead.

Sa panahon ni Saul, nilusob ng tribu ni Ruben ang mga Hagrita at tinalo sila. Nanirahan sila sa mga tolda ng mga Hagrita sa buong lupain sa silangan ng Gilead.

11 And the children of Gad dwelt ouer against them in the land of Bashan, vnto Salchah.

Nakatira malapit sa kanila ang tribu ni Gad, sa lupain ng Bashan hanggang sa Saleca.

12 Ioel was the chiefest, and Shapham the second, but Iaanai and Shaphat were in Bashan.

Si Joel ang kanilang pinuno, na pangulo ng angkan, at si Safam naman ang pangulo ng isa pang angkan, at si Janai at si Safat sa Bashan.

13 And their brethren of the house of their fathers were Michael, and Meshullam, and Sheba, and Sorai, and Iacan, and Zia and Eber, seuen.

Ang kanilang kamag-anak sa mga pamilya ng kanilang mga ama ay sina Micael, Mesulam, Sheba, Jorai, Jacan, Zia, at si Eber—pito silang lahat.

14 These are the childre of Abihail, the sonne of Huri, the sonne of Iaroah, the sonne of Gilead, the sonne of Michael, the sonne of Ieshishai, the sonne of Iahdo, the sonne of Buz.

Ang mga taong ito na nabanggit ay mga anak ni Abihail, at si Abihail ay anak ni Huri. Si Huri ay anak ni Jaroa. Si Jaroa ay anak ni Gilead. Si Gilead ay anak ni Micael. Si Micael ay anak ni Jesisai. Si Jesisai ay anak ni Jaddo. Si Jahdo ay anak ni Buz.

15 Ahi the sonne of Abdiel, the sonne of Guni was chiefe of the houshold of their fathers.

Si Ahi na anak ni Abdiel na anak ni Guni, ay pinuno ng pamilya ng kanilang ama.

16 And they dwelt in Gilead in Bashan, and in the townes thereof, and in all the suburbes of Sharon by their borders.

Nanirahan sila sa Gilead, sa Basan, sa mga bayan nito, at sa lahat ng lupaing pastulan ng Saron hanggang sa mga hangganan nito.

17 All these were rekoned by genealogies in the dayes of Iotham King of Iudah, and in the dayes of Ieroboam King of Israel.

Lahat ng mga ito ay nakatala sa talaan ng mga angkan sa mga araw ni Jotam na hari ng Juda at ni Jeroboam na hari ng Israel.

18 The sonnes of Reuben and of Gad, and of halfe the tribe of Manasseh of those that were viliant men, able to beare shield, and sworde, and to draw a bowe, exercised in warre, were foure and fourtie thousand, seuen hundreth and three score, that went out to the warre.

Ang mga Rubenita, ang mga Gadita, at kalahati ng tribu ni Manases ay mayroong apatnapu't apat na libong mga kawal na sinanay para sa digmaan, na may dalang kalasag at espada, at kayang humugot ng pana.

19 And they made warre with the Hagarims, with Ietur, and Naphish, and Nodab.

Nilusob nila ang mga Hagrita, Jetur, Nafis, at Nodab.

20 And they were holpen against them, and the Hagarims were deliuered into their hande, and all that were with them: for they cryed to God in the battel, and he heard them, because they trusted in him.

Nakatanggap sila ng tulong mula sa Diyos laban sa kanila. Sa ganitong paraan, ang mga Hagrita at ang lahat ng kasama nila ay natalo. Ito ay dahil nanalangin ang mga Israelita sa Diyos sa digmaan, at tumugon siya sa kanila, dahil nagtiwala sila sa kaniya.

21 And they led away their cattel, euen their camels fiftie thousand, and two hundreth, and fiftie thousand sheepe, and two thousand asses, and of persons an hundreth thousand.

Hinuli nila ang kanilang mga alagang hayop kabilang ang limampung libong mga kamelyo, 250, 000 mga tupa, dalawang libong mga asno at 100, 000 mga kalalakihan.

22 For many fel downe wounded, because the warre was of God. And they dwelt in their steads vntill the captiuitie.

Sapagkat nakipaglaban ang Diyos para sa kanila, napatay nila ang marami sa mga kaaway. Nanirahan sila sa kanilang lupain hanggang sa pagkabihag.

23 And the children of the halfe tribe of Manasseh dwelt in the land, from Baashan vnto Baal Hermon, and Senir, and vnto mount Hermon: for they increased.

Nanirahan ang kalahating tribu ni Manases sa lupain ng Basan hanggang sa Baal Hermon at Senir (iyon ay, ang Bundok Hermon).

24 And these were the heads of the housholds of their fathers, euen Epher and Ishi, and Eliel and Azriel, and Ieremiah, and Hodauiah, and Iahdiel, strong men, valiant and famous, heades of the housholdes of their fathers.

Ito ang mga pinuno ng kanilang mga pamilya: na sina Epher, Isi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremias, Hodavias at si Jahdiel. Malalakas at matatapang silang mga kalalakihan, tanyag na mga kalalakihan, mga pinuno sa kanilang mga pamilya.

25 But they transgressed against the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the lande, whome God had destroyed before them.

Ngunit hindi sila naging tapat sa Diyos ng kanilang mga ninuno. Sa halip, sinamba nila ang mga diyos ng mga tao sa lupaing iyon, na nilipol ng Diyos sa kanilang harapan.

26 And the God of Israel stirred vp the spirit of Pul king of Asshur, and the spirite of Tilgath Pilneeser king of Asshur, and he caryed them away: euen the Reubenites and the Gadites, and the halfe tribe of Manasseh, and brought them vnto Halah and Habor, and Hara, and to the riuer Gozan, vnto this day.

Hinimok ng Diyos ng Israel si Pul na hari ng Asiria (na tinawag din na Tilgat Pileser, hari ng Asiria). Dinala niyang bihag ang mga Rubenita, mga Gadita at kalahati ng tribu ni Manases. At dinala niya sila sa Hala, sa Habor, sa Hara, at sa ilog ng Gozan, kung saan sila ay nananatili hanggang ngayon.
