1 Chronicles 24
1 These are also the diuisions of the sonnes of Aaron: The sonnes of Aaron were Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Le classi dei figliuoli d’Aaronne furono queste. Figliuoli d’Aaronne: Nadab, Abihu, Eleazar e Ithamar.
2 But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the Priestes office.
Nadab e Abihu morirono prima del loro padre, e non ebbero figliuoli; Eleazar e Ithamar esercitarono il sacerdozio.
3 And Dauid distributed them, euen Zadok of the sonnes of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sonnes of Ithamar according to their offices in their ministration.
Or Davide, con Tsadok de’ figliuoli di Eleazar, e con Ahimelec de’ figliuoli d’Ithamar, classificò i figliuoli d’Aaronne secondo il servizio che doveano fare.
4 And there were found more of the sonnes of Eleazar by the number of men, then of the sonnes of Ithamar. and they deuided them, to wit, among the sonnes of Eleazar, sixteene heads, according to the houshould of their fathers, and among ye sonnes of Ithamar, according to the housholde of their fathers, eight.
Tra i figliuoli di Eleazar si trovarono più capi di famiglie che tra i figliuoli d’Ithamar; e furon divisi così: per i figliuoli di Eleazar, sedici capi di famiglie patriarcali; per i figliuoli d’Ithamar, otto capi delle loro famiglie patriarcali.
5 Thus they distributed them by lot the one from the other, and so the rulers of the Sanctuarie and the rulers of the house of God were of the sonnes of Eleazar and of the sonnes of Ithamar.
La classificazione fu fatta a sorte, tanto per gli uni quanto per gli altri; perché v’erano dei principi del santuario e de’ principi di Dio tanto tra i figliuoli d’Eleazar quanto tra i figliuoli d’Ithamar.
6 And Shemaiah the sonne of Nethaneel the scribe of the Leuites, wrote them before ye King and the princes, and Zadok the Priest, and Ahimelech the sonne of Abiathar, and before ye chiefe fathers of the Priests and of the Leuites, one familie being reserued for Eleazar, and another reserued for Ithamar.
Scemaia, figliuolo di Nathaneel, il segretario, ch’era della tribù di Levi, li iscrisse in presenza del re e dei principi, in presenza del sacerdote Tsadok, di Ahimelec, figliuolo di Ebiathar, e in presenza dei capi delle famiglie patriarcali dei sacerdoti e dei Leviti. Si tirò a sorte una casa patriarcale per Eleazar, e, proporzionalmente, per Ithamar.
7 And the first lot fell to Iehoiarib, and the second to Iedaiah,
Il primo, designato dalla sorte, fu Jehoiarib; il secondo, Jedaia;
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,
il terzo, Harim; il quarto, Seorim;
9 The fifth to Malchiiah, the sixt to Miiamin,
il quinto, Malkija;
10 The seuenth to Hakkoz, the eight to Abiiah,
il sesto, Mijamin; il settimo, Hakkots; l’ottavo, Abija;
11 The ninth to Ieshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,
il nono, Jeshua; il decimo, Scecania;
12 The eleuenth to Eliashib, the twelft to Iakim,
l’undecimo, Eliascib; il dodicesimo, Jakim;
13 The thirteenth to Huppa, the fouretenth to Ieshebeab,
il tredicesimo, Huppa; il quattordicesimo, Jescebeab;
14 The fiftenth to Bilgah, the sixtenth to Immer,
il quindicesimo, Bilga; il sedicesimo, Immer;
15 The seuententh to Hezir, the eightenth to Happizzer,
il diciassettesimo, Hezir; il diciottesimo, Happitsets;
16 The ninetenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Iehezekel,
il diciannovesimo, Pethahia; il ventesimo, Ezechiele;
17 The one and twentie to Iachin, the two and twentie to Gamul,
il ventunesimo, Jakin; il ventiduesimo, Gamul;
18 The three and twentie to Deliah, the foure and twentie to Maaziah.
il ventitreesimo, Delaia; il ventiquattresimo, Maazia.
19 These were their orders according to their offices, when they entred into the house of the Lord according to their custome vnder the hande of Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.
Così furono classificati per il loro servizio, affinché entrassero nella casa dell’Eterno secondo la regola stabilita per loro da Aaronne loro padre, e che l’Eterno, l’Iddio d’Israele, gli aveva prescritta.
20 And of the sonnes of Leui that remained of the sonnes of Amram, was Shubael, of the sonnes of Shubael, Iedeiah,
Quanto al rimanente de’ figliuoli di Levi, questi ne furono i capi. Dei figliuoli d’Amram: Shubael; de’ figliuoli di Shubael: Jehdia.
21 Of Rehabiah. euen of the sonnes of Rehabiah, the first Isshiiah,
Di Rehabia, de’ figliuoli di Rehabia: il capo Jscia.
22 Of Izhari, Shelomoth, of the sonnes of Shelomoth, Iahath,
Degli Jtsehariti: Scelomoth; de’ figliuoli di Scelomoth: Jahath.
23 And his sonnes Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the thirde, and Iekameam the fourth,
Figliuoli di Hebron: Jerija, Amaria il secondo, Jahaziel il terzo, Jekameam il quarto.
24 The sonne of Vzziel was Michah, ye sonne of Michah was Shamir,
Figliuoli di Uzziel: Mica; de’ figliuoli di Mica: Shamir;
25 The brother of Michah was Isshiiah, the sonne of Isshiiah, Zechariah,
fratello di Mica: Jscia; de’ figliuoli d’Jscia: Zaccaria.
26 The sonnes of Merari, were Mahli and Mushi, the sonne of Iaaziiah was Beno,
Figliuoli di Merari: Mahli e Musci, e i figliuoli di Jaazia, suo figliuolo,
27 The sonnes of Merari of Iahaziah were Beno, and Shoham, and Zaccur and Ibri.
vale a dire i figliuoli di Merari, per il tramite di Jaazia suo figliuolo: Shoham, Zaccur e Ibri.
28 Of Mahli came Eleazar, which had no sonnes.
Di Mahli: Eleazar, che non ebbe figliuoli.
29 Of Kish. the sonne of Kish was Ierahmeel,
Di Kis: i figliuoli di Kis: Jerahmeel.
30 And the sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth: these were sonnes of the Leuites after the houshold of their fathers.
Figliuoli di Musci: Mahli, Eder e Jerimoth. Questi sono i figliuoli dei Leviti secondo le loro case patriarcali.
31 And these also cast lots with their brethren the sonnes of Aaron before King Dauid, and Zadok and Ahimelech and the chiefe fathers of the Priests, and of the Leuites, euen the chiefe of the families against their yonger brethren.
Anch’essi, come i figliuoli d’Aaronne, loro fratelli, tirarono a sorte in presenza del re Davide, di Tsadok, di Ahimelec e dei capi delle famiglie patriarcali dei sacerdoti e dei Leviti. Ogni capo di famiglia patriarcale tirò a sorte, nello stesso modo che il fratello, più giovane di lui.
