1 Chronicles 23
1 So when Dauid was olde and full of dayes, he made Salomon his sonne King ouer Israel.

2 And hee gathered together all the princes of Israel with the Priestes and the Leuites.
Inummongna dagiti amin a mangidadaulo iti Israel, agraman dagiti papadi ken dagiti Levita.
3 And the Leuites were numbred from ye age of thirtie yeere and aboue, and their nomber according to their summe was eight and thirtie thousand men.
Dagiti Levita nga agtawen iti tallopulo nga agpangato ket nabilang. Tallopulo ket walo a ribu ti bilangda.
4 Of these foure and twentie thousande were set to aduance the worke of the house of the Lord, and sixe thousand were ouerseers and iudges.
Duapulo ket uppat a ribu kadagitoy ti mangimaton iti trabaho iti balay ni Yahweh ken innem a ribu dagiti opisial ken uk-ukom.
5 And foure thousand were porters, and foure thousande praised the Lord with instruments which he made to praise the Lord.
Uppat a ribu dagiti agbantay iti ruangan; ken uppat a ribu dagiti agdayaw kenni Yahweh babaen kadagiti instrumento “nga inaramidko para iti panagdayaw,” kinuna ni David.
6 So Dauid deuided offices vnto them, to wit, to the sonnes of Leui, to Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Biningay ida ni David iti bunggoy segun kadagiti putot ni Levi: da Gerson, Coat ken Merari.
7 Of the Gershonites were Laadan and Shimei.
Manipud kadagiti puli a nagtaud kenni Gerson ket adda da Ladan ken Simei.
8 The sonnes of Laadan, the chiefe was Iehiel, and Zetham and Ioel, three.
Adda tallo a putot ni Ladan: ni Jeiel a mangidadaulo, da Zetam ken Joel.
9 The Sonnes of Shimei, Shelomith, and Haziel, and Haram, three: these were the chiefe fathers of Laadan.
Adda tallo a putot ni Simei: da Selomot, Haziel ken Haran. Dagitoy dagiti mangidadaulo kadagiti puli ni Ladan.
10 Also the sonnes of Shimei were Iahath, Zina, Ieush, and Beriah: these foure were ye sonnes of Shimei.
Adda uppat a putot ni Simei: da Jahat, Zina, Jeus ken Berias.
11 And Iahath was the chiefe, and Zizah the seconde, but Ieush and Beriah had not many sonnes: therfore they were in the families of their father, counted but as one.
Ni Jahat ti inauna, ni Zina ti maikadua ngem saan a naaddaan iti adu a putot da Jeus ken Berias, isu a naibilangda a kas maysa a puli nga addaan iti isu met laeng a pagrebbengan.
12 The sonnes of Kohath were Amram, Izhar, Hebron aud Vzziel, foure.
Adda uppat a putot ni Coat: da Amram, Isar, Hebron ken Uzziel.
13 The sonnes of Amram, Aaron and Moses: and Aaron was separated to sanctifie the most holy place, hee and his sonnes for euer to burne incense before the Lord, to minister to him, and to blesse in his Name for euer.
Dagitoy dagiti putot ni Amram: da Aaron ken Moises. Ni Aaron ken dagiti kaputotanna ket napili nga agnanayon a mangidaton kadagiti banbanag a naan-anay a kukua laeng ni Yahweh, a mangidaton iti insenso kenni Yahweh, nga agserbi kenkuana, ken mangbendision babaen iti naganna iti agnanayon.
14 Moses also the man of God, and his children were named with the tribe of Leui.
Ngem maipapan kenni Moises a tao ti Dios, naibilang dagiti putotna a kas Levita.
15 The sonnes of Moses were Gershom, and Eliezer,
Dagiti putot ni Moises ket da Gersom ken Elieser.
16 Of the sonnes of Gershom was Shebuel the chiefe.
Ni Sebuel ti inauna kadagiti kaputotan ni Gersom.
17 And the sonne of Eliezer was Rehabiah the chiefe: for Eliezer had none other sonnes: but the sonnes of Rehabiah were very many.
Ti kaputotan ni Elieser ket ni Rehabia. Awanen ti dadduma pay a putot a lalaki ni Elieser, ngem adu ti kaputotan ni Rehabia.
18 The sone of Izhar was Shelomith ye chiefe.
Ti putot ni Isar ket ni Selomit a mangidadaulo.
19 The sonnes of Hebron were Ieriah the first, Amariah the second, Iahaziel the third, and Iekamiam the fourth.
Dagiti kaputotan ni Hebron ket ni Jerias nga inauna, ni Amarias a maikadua, ni Jahaziel a maikatlo ken ni Jekameam a maikauppat.
20 The sones of Vzziel were Michah the first, and Isshiah the second.
Dagiti putot ni Uzziel ket ni Mica nga inauna ken ni Issias a maikadua.
21 The sonnes of Merari were Mahli and Mushi. The sonnes of Mahli, Eleazar and Kish.
Dagiti putot a lallaki ni Merari ket da Mali ken Musi. Dagiti putot ni Mali ket da Eleazar ken Kis.
22 And Eleazar dyed, and had no sonnes, but daughters, and their brethren the sonnes of Kish tooke them.
Natay ni Eleazar nga awan iti putotna a lalaki. Addaan laeng isuna kadagiti putot a babbai. Inasawa ida dagiti putot ni Kis.
23 The sonnes of Mushi were Mahli, and Eder, and Ierimoth, three.
Dagiti tallo a putot ni Musi ket da Mali, Eder ken Jeremot.
24 These were the sonnes of Leui according to the house of their fathers, euen the chiefe fathers according to their offices, according to the nomber of names and their summe that did the worke for the seruice of the house of the Lord from the age of twentie yeeres and aboue.
Dagitoy dagiti kaputotan ni Levi segun kadagiti pulida. Isuda dagiti mangidadaulo, nabilang ken nailista ti naganda, kadagiti puli a nagtrabaho iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh, manipud iti agtawen iti duapulo nga agpangato.
25 For Dauid sayde, The Lord God of Israel hath giuen rest vnto his people, that they may dwell in Ierusalem for euer.
Ta kinuna ni David, “Inikkan ni Yahweh a Dios ti Israel iti inana kadagiti tattaona. Nangaramid isuna iti pagtaenganna iti Jerusalem iti agnanayon.
26 And also the Leuites shall no more beare the Tabernacle and al the vessels for the seruice thereof.
Saanen a kasapulan nga awiten dagiti Levita ti tabernakulo ken dagiti amin nga alikamen a mausar iti daytoy.
27 Therefore according to the last wordes of Dauid, the Leuites were nombred from twentie yeere and aboue,
Ta babaen iti maudi a sasao ni David, nabilang dagiti Levita manipud iti agtawen iti duapulo nga agpangato.
28 And their office was vnder the hand of the sonnes of Aaron, for the seruice of the house of the Lord in the courtes, and chambers, and in the purifiyng of all holy thinges, and in the worke of the seruice of the house of God,
Ti pagrebbenganda ket mangtulong kadagiti kaputotan ni Aaron iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh. Isuda ti mangaywan kadagiti paraangan, kadagiti siled, ti seremonia a panangdalus kadagiti amin a banbanag a kukua ni Yahweh ken dagiti dadduma a trabaho iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh.
29 Both for the shewbread, and for the fine floure, for the meate offring, and for the vnleauened cakes, and for the fryed things, and for that which was rosted, and for all measures and cise,
Isuda pay ti makaammo iti maidaton a tinapay, ti kasasayaatan nga arina para kadagiti bukbukel a maidaton, dagiti awan lebadurana a tinapay, dagiti naluto a daton, dagiti daton a nalaokan iti lana, ken dagiti amin a rukod ti kaadu ken kadakkel dagiti banbanag.
30 And for to stand euery morning, to giue thanks and praise to the Lord, and likewise at euen,
Agtakderda pay a binigat tapno agyaman ken agdayaw kenni Yahweh. Aramidenda met daytoy iti rabii
31 And to offer all burnt offrings vnto the Lord, in the Sabbaths, in the moneths, and at the appointed times, according to the nomber and according to their custome continually before the Lord,
ken iti tunggal panagidatagda kadagiti daton a mapuoran iti Aldaw a Panaginana ken kadagiti tiempo iti panagrambak iti baro a bulan ken kadagiti al-aldaw ti fiesta. Ti umno a bilang a naikeddeng babaen iti paglintegan ket rumbeng nga addada a kanayon iti sangoanan ni Yahweh.
32 And that they should keepe the charge of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, and the charge of ye holy place, and the charge of ye sonnes of Aaron their brethren in the seruice of ye house of the Lord.
Isuda ti akin-rebbeng iti tabernakulo, ti nasantoan a disso, ken tulonganda dagiti kapadada a kaputotan ni Aaron iti panagserbi iti balay ni Yahweh.
