< 1 Chronicles 14 >

1 Then sent Hiram the King of Tyrus messengers to Dauid, and cedar trees, with masons and carpenters to builde him an house.
and to send: depart (Hiram *QK) king Tyre messenger to(wards) David and tree cedar and artificer wall and artificer tree: wood to/for to build to/for him house: home
2 Therefore Dauid knewe that the Lord had confirmed him King ouer Israel, and that his kingdome was lift vp on hie, because of his people Israel.
and to know David for to establish: establish him LORD to/for king upon Israel for to lift: exalt to/for above [to] royalty his in/on/with for the sake of people his Israel
3 Also Dauid tooke moe wiues at Ierusalem, and Dauid begate moe sonnes and daughters.
and to take: take David still woman: wife in/on/with Jerusalem and to beget David still son: child and daughter
4 And these are the names of the children which he had at Ierusalem, Shammua, and Shobab, Nathan, and Salomon,
and these name [the] to beget which to be to/for him in/on/with Jerusalem Shammua and Shobab Nathan and Solomon
5 And Ibhar, and Elishua, and Elpalet,
and Ibhar and Elishua and Elpelet
6 And Nogah, and Nepheg, and Iaphia,
and Nogah and Nepheg and Japhia
7 And Elishama, and Beeliada, and Eliphalet.
and Elishama and Beeliada and Eliphelet
8 But when the Philistims heard that Dauid was anointed King ouer Israel, all the Philistims came vp to seeke Dauid. And when Dauid heard, he went out against them.
and to hear: hear Philistine for to anoint David to/for king upon all Israel and to ascend: rise all Philistine to/for to seek [obj] David and to hear: hear David and to come out: come to/for face: before their
9 And the Philistims came, and spred them selues in the valley of Rephaim.
and Philistine to come (in): come and to strip in/on/with Valley (of Rephaim) (Valley of) Rephaim
10 Then Dauid asked counsel at God, saying, Shall I goe vp against the Philistims, and wilt thou deliuer them into mine hande? And the Lord saide vnto him, Goe vp: for I will deliuer them into thine hande.

11 So they came vp to Baal-perazim, and Dauid smote them there: and Dauid said, God hath deuided mine enemies with mine hande, as waters are deuided: therefore they called the name of that place, Baal-perazim.
and to ascend: rise in/on/with Baal-perazim Baal-perazim and to smite them there David and to say David to break through [the] God [obj] enemy my in/on/with hand: power my like/as breach water upon so to call: call by name [the] place [the] he/she/it Baal-perazim Baal-perazim
12 And there they had left their gods: and Dauid said, Let them euen be burnt with fire.
and to leave: forsake there [obj] God their and to say David and to burn in/on/with fire
13 Againe the Philistims came and spread them selues in the valley.
and to add: again still Philistine and to strip in/on/with valley
14 And when Dauid asked againe counsell at God, God said to him, Thou shalt not goe vp after them, but turne away from them, that thou mayest come vpon them ouer against the mulberie trees.
and to ask still David in/on/with God and to say to/for him [the] God not to ascend: rise after them to turn: surround from upon them and to come (in): come to/for them from opposite [the] balsam
15 And when thou hearest the noyse of one going in the toppes of the mulberie trees, then goe out to battel: for God is gone foorth before thee, to smite the hoste of the Philistims.
and to be like/as to hear: hear you [obj] voice: sound [the] marching in/on/with head: top [the] balsam then to come out: come in/on/with battle for to come out: come [the] God to/for face: before your to/for to smite [obj] camp Philistine
16 So Dauid did as God had commanded him: and they smote the hoste of the Philistims from Gibeon euen to Gezer.
and to make: do David like/as as which to command him [the] God and to smite [obj] camp Philistine from Gibeon and till Gezer [to]
17 And the fame of Dauid went out into all landes, and the Lord brought the feare of him vpon all nations.
and to come out: come name David in/on/with all [the] land: country/planet and LORD to give: give [obj] dread his upon all [the] nation
