1 Chronicles 12
1 These also are they that came to Dauid to Ziklag, while he was yet kept close, because of Saul the sonne of Kish: and they were among the valiant and helpers of the battel.
Oto ci, którzy przyszli do Dawida w Siklag, gdy ukrywał się przed Saulem, synem Kisza. Należeli oni do dzielnych wojowników, którzy wspierali go w walce.
2 They were weaponed with bowes, and could vse the right and the left hand with stones and with arrowes and with bowes, and were of Sauls brethren, euen of Beniamin.
Byli uzbrojeni w łuki i [potrafili] prawą i lewą ręką [miotać] kamieniami i strzelać z łuku, [a wywodzili się] z braci Saula, z Beniamina.
3 The chiefe were Ahiezer, and Ioash the sonnes of Shemaah a Gibeathite, and Ieziel, and Pelet the sonnes of Asinaueth, Berachah and Iehu the Antothite,
Naczelnikiem [był] Achiezer, potem Joasz, synowie Szemajasza Gibeatczyka, Jezjel i Pelet, synowie Azmaweta, Beraka i Jehu Anatotczyk;
4 And Ishmaiah the Gibeonite, a valiant man among thirtie, and aboue the thirtie, and Ieremiah, and Iehaziel, and Iohanan, and Ioshabad the Gederathite,
I Jiszmaja Gibeonita, dzielny wojownik spośród trzydziestu i dowodzący trzydziestoma, Jeremiasz, Jachaziel, Jochanan i Jozabad Gederatyta;
5 Eluzai, and Ierimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,
Eluzaj, Jerimot, Bealiasz, Szemariasz i Szefatiasz Charufita;
6 Elkanah, and Ishiah, and Azariel, and Ioezer, Iashobeam of Hakorehim,
Elkana, Jiszijasz, Azareel, Joezer i Jaszobam – Korachici;
7 And Ioelah, and Zebadiah, the sonnes of Ieroham of Gedor,
Joela i Zebadiasz, synowie Jerochama z Gedoru.
8 And of the Gadites there separated them selues some vnto Dauid into the holde of the wildernesse, valiant men of warre, and men of armes, and apt for battel, which coulde handle speare and shielde, and their faces were like the faces of lyons, and were like the roes in the mountaines in swiftnesse,
Z [pokolenia] Gada w warowni na pustyni do Dawida przyłączyli się dzielni wojownicy, żołnierze sprawni w boju, noszący tarczę i dzidę, ich twarze [były] jak twarze lwów, a [byli] zwinni jak sarny w górach;
9 Ezer the chiefe, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
Ezer pierwszy, Obadiasz drugi, Eliab trzeci;
10 Mishmanah the fourth, Ieremiah the fift,
Miszmanna czwarty, Jeremiasz piąty;
11 Attai the sixt, Eliel the seuenth,
Attaj szósty, Eliel siódmy;
12 Iohanan the eight, Elzabad the ninth,
Jochanan ósmy, Elzabad dziewiąty;
13 Ieremiah the tenth, Macbannai the eleuenth.
Jeremiasz dziesiąty, Makbanaj jedenasty.
14 These were the sonnes of Gad, captaines of the hoste: one of the least could resist an hundreth, and the greatest a thousand.
[Wywodzili się] oni z synów Gada, dowódcy wojska: najmniejszy był nad stu, a największy – nad tysiącem.
15 These are they that went ouer Iorden in the first moneth when he had filled ouer all his bankes, and put to flight all them of the valley, toward the East and the West.
To są ci, którzy przeszli przez Jordan w pierwszym miesiącu, kiedy wylał na wszystkie brzegi, i zmusili do ucieczki wszystkich [mieszkańców] dolin na wschód i na zachód.
16 And there came of the children of Beniamin, and Iudah to the hold vnto Dauid,
Do warowni do Dawida przyszli także [niektórzy] z synów Beniamina i Judy.
17 And Dauid went out to meete them, and answered and sayde vnto them, If yee be come peaceably vnto me to helpe me, mine heart shall be knit vnto you, but if you come to betray me to mine aduersaries, seeing there is no wickednes in mine handes, the God of our fathers beholde it, and rebuke it.
I Dawid wyszedł naprzeciw nich, i odpowiedział: Jeśli przyszliście do mnie w pokoju, aby mi pomóc, moje serce połączy się z wami. Lecz jeśli [przyszliście], aby mnie wydać moim wrogom, choć moje ręce są wolne od nieprawości, niech wejrzy w to Bóg naszych ojców i niech osądzi.
18 And the spirit came vpon Amasai, which was the chiefe of thirtie, and he said, Thine are we, Dauid, and with thee, O sonne of Ishai. Peace, peace be vnto thee, and peace be vnto thine helpers: for thy God helpeth thee. Then Dauid receiued them, and made them captaines of the garison.
Wtedy Duch ogarnął Amasaja, naczelnika dowódców, [i powiedział]: Jesteśmy twoi, Dawidzie, i [jesteśmy] z tobą, synu Jessego. Pokój, pokój tobie i pokój twoim pomocnikom! Gdyż tobie pomaga twój Bóg. Dawid więc przyjął ich i ustanowił dowódcami oddziałów.
19 And of Manasseh some fell to Dauid, when he came with the Philistims against Saul to battell, but they helped them not: for the Princes of the Philistims by aduisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul for our heads.
[Z pokolenia] Manassesa niektórzy przyłączyli się do Dawida, gdy wyruszył z Filistynami na wojnę przeciwko Saulowi. Lecz nie pomogli im, gdyż książęta Filistynów po naradzie odesłali go, mówiąc: Ten za cenę naszych głów wróci do swego pana Saula.
20 As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Iozabad, and Iediael, and Michael, and Iozabad, and Elihu, and Ziltai, heads of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
Gdy szedł do Siklag, przyłączyli się do niego z Manassesa: Adnach, Jozabad, Jediael, Mikael, Jozabad, Elihu i Silletaj, dowódcy nad tysiącami w [pokoleniu] Manassesa.
21 And they helped Dauid against that bad: for they were all valiant men and were captaines in the hoste.
Oni to pomogli Dawidowi przeciw bandzie, bo byli wszyscy dzielnymi wojownikami i dowódcami wojska.
22 For at that time day by day there came to Dauid to helpe him, vntill it was a great hoste, like the hoste of God.
W tym czasie dzień za dniem [ludzie] przybywali do Dawida, aby mu pomagać, aż [powstało] wielkie wojsko jak wojsko Boże.
23 And these are the nombers of the captaines that were armed to battell, and came to Dauid to Hebron to turne the kingdome of Saul to him, according to the worde of the Lord.
A oto liczba oddziałów gotowych do boju, [które] przyszły do Dawida w Hebronie, aby przenieść na niego królestwo Saula zgodnie ze słowem PANA.
24 The children of Iudah that bare shield and speare, were sixe thousand and eight hundreth armed to the warre.
Z synów Judy, noszących tarczę i włócznię, sześć tysięcy ośmiuset uzbrojonych do boju.
25 Of the children of Simeon valiant men of warre, seuen thousand and an hundreth.
Z synów Symeona, dzielnych wojowników na wojnę, siedem tysięcy stu.
26 Of the children of Leui foure thousande and sixe hundreth.
Z synów Lewiego cztery tysiące sześciuset.
27 And Iehoiada was the chiefe of them of Aaron: and with him three thousande and seuen hundreth.
[Także] Jehojada, przywódca [synów] Aarona, a z nim trzy tysiące siedmiuset.
28 And Zadok a yong man very valiant, and of his fathers housholde came two and twentie captaines.
I Sadok, młody, dzielny wojownik [wraz z] domem swego ojca – dwudziestu dwóch dowódców.
29 And of the children of Beniamin the brethren of Saul three thousande: for a great part of them vnto that time kept the warde of the house of Saul.
Z synów Beniamina, braci Saula, trzy tysiące. Dotąd bowiem większość z nich pozostawała w służbie domu Saula.
30 And of the children of Ephraim twentie thousande, and eight hundreth valiant men and famous men in the housholde of their fathers.
Z synów Efraima dwadzieścia tysięcy ośmiuset dzielnych wojowników, ludzi sławnych w domach swych ojców.
31 And of the halfe tribe of Manasseh eighteene thousand, which were appointed by name to come and make Dauid King.
Z połowy pokolenia Manassesa osiemnaście tysięcy, którzy imiennie zostali wyznaczeni, aby przyjść i ustanowić Dawida królem.
32 And of the children of Issachar which were men that had vnderstanding of the times, to knowe what Israel ought to doe: the heades of them were two hundreth, and all their brethren were at their commandement.
Z synów Issachara, umiejących rozpoznać czasy, tak że wiedzieli, co Izrael ma czynić – dwustu naczelników, a wszyscy ich bracia stawali na ich rozkazy.
33 Of Zebulun that went out to battel, expert in warre, and in all instruments of warre, fiftie thousande which could set the battell in aray: they were not of a double heart.
[Z pokolenia] Zebulona [tych], którzy wychodzili na wojnę, wyćwiczonych w walce wszelką bronią wojenną – pięćdziesiąt tysięcy stających w szyku bojowym i niemających dwoistego serca.
34 And of Naphtali a thousand captaines, and with them with shielde and speare seuen and thirtie thousande.
Z [pokolenia] Neftalego – tysiąc dowódców, a z nimi trzydzieści siedem tysięcy [uzbrojonych] w tarcze i włócznie.
35 And of Dan expert in battell, eyght and twentie thousande, and sixe hundreth.
Z [pokolenia] Dana gotowych do boju było dwadzieścia osiem tysięcy sześciuset [mężczyzn].
36 And of Asher that went out to the battell and were trained in the warres, fourtie thousand.
Z [pokolenia] Aszera tych, którzy wychodzili na wojnę, wyćwiczonych w walce – czterdzieści tysięcy.
37 And of the other side of Iorden of the Reubenites, and of the Gadites, and of the halfe tribe of Manasseh with all instruments of warre to fight with, an hundreth and twentie thousand.
Z drugiej strony Jordanu z [pokolenia] Rubena i Gada oraz z połowy pokolenia Manassesa w pełnym uzbrojeniu wojennym – sto dwadzieścia tysięcy [mężczyzn].
38 All these men of warre that coulde leade an armie, came with vpright heart to Hebron to make Dauid King ouer all Israel: and all the rest of Israel was of one accorde to make Dauid King:
Ci wszyscy wojownicy, którzy stawali w szyku bojowym, całym sercem przyszli do Hebronu, aby ustanowić Dawida królem nad całym Izraelem. Również i cała reszta Izraela [była] jednomyślna w tym, aby ustanowić Dawida królem.
39 And there they were with Dauid three dayes, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.
I byli tam z Dawidem przez trzy dni, jedząc i pijąc, gdyż ich bracia przygotowali to dla nich.
40 Moreouer they that were neere them vntill Issachar, and Zebulun, and Naphtali brought bread vpon asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, euen meate, floure, figges, and reisins, and wine and oyle, and beeues and sheepe abundantly: for there was ioy in Israel.
Również ci, którzy byli w ich pobliżu, aż po Issachara i Zebulona, i Neftalego, przynosili żywność na osłach, na wielbłądach, na mułach i na wołach: potrawy, mąkę, figi, rodzynki, wino, oliwę oraz woły i owce w wielkiej ilości, bo zapanowała radość w Izraelu.
