Revelation 7
1 Then I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding back the earth's four winds to prevent any wind from blowing on the earth, or over the sea, or against any tree.
Bundan sonra yeryüzünün dört köşesinde duran dört melek gördüm. Bunlar karaya, denize ya da herhangi bir ağaç üzerine esmesin diye, yeryüzünün dört rüzgarını tutuyorlardı.
2 I watched another angel rise up from the east, holding the seal of the living God. He shouted in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given the power to damage the earth and the sea,
Sonra gündoğusundan yükselen başka bir melek gördüm. Yaşayan Tanrı'nın mührünü taşıyordu. Karaya, denize zarar vermek için yetki verilen dört meleğe yüksek sesle bağırdı:
3 “Don't hurt the earth or the sea or the trees until we have placed a seal on the foreheads of God's true followers!”
“Biz Tanrımız'ın kullarını alınlarından mühürleyene dek karaya, denize ya da ağaçlara zarar vermeyin!”
4 I was told the number of those who were sealed: one hundred and forty-four thousand. Those who were sealed came from every tribe of the children of Israel:
Mühürlenmiş olanların sayısını işittim. İsrailoğulları'nın bütün oymaklarından 144 000 kişi mühürlenmişti:
5 twelve thousand from the tribe of Judah, twelve thousand from the tribe of Reuben, twelve thousand from the tribe of Gad,
Yahuda oymağından 12 000 kişi mühürlenmişti. Ruben oymağından 12 000, Gad oymağından 12 000,
6 twelve thousand from the tribe of Asher, twelve thousand from the tribe of Naphtali, twelve thousand from the tribe of Manasseh,
Aşer oymağından 12 000, Naftali oymağından 12 000, Manaşşe oymağından 12 000,
7 twelve thousand from the tribe of Simeon, twelve thousand from the tribe of Levi, twelve thousand from the tribe of Issachar,
Şimon oymağından 12 000, Levi oymağından 12 000, İssakar oymağından 12 000,
8 twelve thousand from the tribe of Zebulun, twelve thousand from the tribe of Joseph, twelve thousand from the tribe of Benjamin.
Zevulun oymağından 12 000, Yusuf oymağından 12 000, Benyamin oymağından 12 000 kişi mühürlenmişti.
9 After this I looked and saw a great crowd that nobody could count, made up of every nation, tribe, people and language. They were standing in front of the throne and the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
Bundan sonra gördüm ki, her ulustan, her oymaktan, her halktan, her dilden oluşan, kimsenin sayamayacağı kadar büyük bir kalabalık tahtın ve Kuzu'nun önünde duruyordu. Hepsi de birer beyaz kaftan giymişti, ellerinde hurma dalları vardı.
10 They gave a loud shout, “Salvation is from our God who sits on the throne, and from the Lamb.”
Yüksek sesle bağırıyorlardı: “Kurtarış, tahtta oturan Tanrımız'a Ve Kuzu'ya özgüdür!”
11 All the angels surrounding the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, fell down on their faces before the throne, worshipping God.
Bütün melekler tahtın, ihtiyarların ve dört yaratığın çevresinde duruyordu. Tahtın önünde yüzüstü yere kapanıp Tanrı'ya tapınarak şöyle diyorlardı:
12 “Amen!” they said. “Blessing, glory, wisdom, gratitude, honor, power, and strength, be to God for ever and ever. Amen.” (aiōn g165)
“Amin! Övgü, yücelik, bilgelik, Şükran, saygı, güç, kudret, Sonsuzlara dek Tanrımız'ın olsun! Amin!” (aiōn g165)
13 One of the elders spoke to me and asked, “Who are those who are dressed in white robes, and where have they come from?”
Bu sırada ihtiyarlardan biri bana sordu: “Beyaz kaftan giymiş olan bu kişiler kim, nereden geldiler?”
14 I replied, “My Lord, you know the answer.” He told me, “These are the ones who have passed through great persecution. They washed their robes, making them white through the blood of the Lamb.
“Sen bunu biliyorsun, efendim” dedim. Bana dedi ki, “Bunlar o büyük sıkıntıdan geçip gelenlerdir. Kaftanlarını Kuzu'nun kanıyla yıkamış, bembeyaz etmişlerdir.
15 That's why they can stand in front of God's throne, and they serve him day and night in his Temple. The one who sits on the throne will protect them with his presence.
Bunun için, “Tanrı'nın tahtı önünde duruyor, Tapınağında gece gündüz O'na tapınıyorlar. Tahtta oturan, çadırını onların üzerine gerecek.
16 They will never be hungry ever again, or thirsty; the sun will not beat down on them and they will not suffer scorching heat,
Artık acıkmayacak, Artık susamayacaklar. Ne güneş ne kavurucu sıcak Çarpacak onları.
17 because the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
Çünkü tahtın ortasında olan Kuzu onları güdecek Ve yaşam sularının pınarlarına götürecek. Tanrı gözlerinden bütün yaşları silecek.”
