Revelation 6
1 I watched as the Lamb broke open the first of the seven seals. I heard one of the four living creatures shout with a thunderous voice, “Come!”
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਮਯਿ ਨਿਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮਾਣੇ ਮੇਸ਼਼ਸ਼ਾਵਕੇਨ ਤਾਸਾਂ ਸਪ੍ਤਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਣਾਮ੍ ਏਕਾ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾ ਮੁਕ੍ਤਾ ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਚਤੁਰ੍ਣਾਮ੍ ਏਕਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਨ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਯੇਤਿਵਾਚਕੋ ਮੇਘਗਰ੍ਜਨਤੁਲ੍ਯੋ ਰਵੋ ਮਯਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਃ|
2 I looked and saw a white horse. Its rider was holding a bow. He was given a crown, and he rode out conquering so that he would be victorious.
ਤਤਃ ਪਰਮ੍ ਏਕਃ ਸ਼ੁਕ੍ਲਾਸ਼੍ਚੋ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਃ, ਤਦਾਰੂਢੋ ਜਨੋ ਧਨੁ ਰ੍ਧਾਰਯਤਿ ਤਸ੍ਮੈ ਚ ਕਿਰੀਟਮੇਕਮ੍ ਅਦਾਯਿ ਤਤਃ ਸ ਪ੍ਰਭਵਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯੰਸ਼੍ਚ ਨਿਰ੍ਗਤਵਾਨ੍|
3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, “Come!”
ਅਪਰੰ ਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਯਾਂ ਤੇਨ ਮੋਚਿਤਾਯਾਂ ਦ੍ਵਿਤੀਯਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਨ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਯੇਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ ਮਯਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਾ|
4 Another horse came out, a red one. Its rider was given a large sword, and the power to take away peace from the earth so that people would slaughter one other.
ਤਤੋ (ਅ)ਰੁਣਵਰ੍ਣੋ (ਅ)ਪਰ ਏਕੋ (ਅ)ਸ਼੍ਵੋ ਨਿਰ੍ਗਤਵਾਨ੍ ਤਦਾਰੋਹਿਣਿ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵੀਤਃ ਸ਼ਾਨ੍ਤ੍ਯਪਹਰਣਸ੍ਯ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਘਾਤੋਤ੍ਪਾਦਨਸ੍ਯ ਚ ਸਾਮਰ੍ਥ੍ਯੰ ਸਮਰ੍ਪਿਤਮ੍, ਏਕੋ ਬ੍ਰੁʼਹਤ੍ਖਙ੍ਗੋ (ਅ)ਪਿ ਤਸ੍ਮਾ ਅਦਾਯਿ|
5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” I looked and saw a black horse. Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand.
ਅਪਰੰ ਤ੍ਰੁʼਤੀਯਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਯਾਂ ਤਨ ਮੋਚਿਤਾਯਾਂ ਤ੍ਰੁʼਤੀਯਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਨ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਯੇਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ ਮਯਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਾ, ਤਤਃ ਕਾਲਵਰ੍ਣ ਏਕੋ (ਅ)ਸ਼੍ਵੋ ਮਯਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਃ, ਤਦਾਰੋਹਿਣੋ ਹਸ੍ਤੇ ਤੁਲਾ ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤਿ
6 I heard what seemed to be a voice coming from among the four living creatures that said, “Two pounds of wheat cost a day's wages, and three pounds of barley cost the same. But don't damage the oil or the wine.”
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਚਤੁਸ਼਼੍ਟਯਸ੍ਯ ਮਧ੍ਯਾਦ੍ ਵਾਗਿਯੰ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਾ ਗੋਧੂਮਾਨਾਮੇਕਃ ਸੇਟਕੋ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਪਾਦੈਕਮੂਲ੍ਯਃ, ਯਵਾਨਾਞ੍ਚ ਸੇਟਕਤ੍ਰਯੰ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਪਾਦੈਕਮੂਲ੍ਯੰ ਤੈਲਦ੍ਰਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਰਸਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਤ੍ਵਯਾ ਮਾ ਹਿੰਸਿਤਵ੍ਯਾਃ|
7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the fourth living creature say, “Come!”
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਚਤੁਰ੍ਥਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਯਾਂ ਤੇਨ ਮੋਚਿਤਾਯਾਂ ਚਤੁਰ੍ਥਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਾਣਿਨ ਆਗਤ੍ਯ ਪਸ਼੍ਯੇਤਿ ਵਾਕ੍ ਮਯਾ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤਾ|
8 I looked and saw a pale horse. The rider was called Death, and Hades followed him. They received authority over a quarter of the earth to kill people by the sword, by famine, by plague, and by wild beasts. (Hadēs g86)
ਤਤਃ ਪਾਣ੍ਡੁਰਵਰ੍ਣ ਏਕੋ (ਅ)ਸ਼੍ਵੋ ਮਯਾ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਃ, ਤਦਾਰੋਹਿਣੋ ਨਾਮ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਯੁਰਿਤਿ ਪਰਲੋਕਸ਼੍ਚ ਤਮ੍ ਅਨੁਚਰਤਿ ਖਙ੍ਗੇਨ ਦੁਰ੍ਭਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੇਣ ਮਹਾਮਾਰ੍ੱਯਾ ਵਨ੍ਯਪਸ਼ੁਭਿਸ਼੍ਚ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਬਧਾਯ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵ੍ਯਾਸ਼੍ਚਤੁਰ੍ਥਾਂਸ਼ਸ੍ਯਾਧਿਪਤ੍ਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਮਾ ਅਦਾਯਿ| (Hadēs g86)
9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar those who had been killed because of their dedication to the word of God and their faithful witness.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਪਞ੍ਚਮਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਯਾਂ ਤੇਨ ਮੋਚਿਤਾਯਾਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਵਾਕ੍ਯਹੇਤੋਸ੍ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸਾਕ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਦਾਨਾੱਚ ਛੇਦਿਤਾਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਦੇਹਿਨੋ ਵੇਦ੍ਯਾ ਅਧੋ ਮਯਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤ|
10 They cried out, shouting, “How long, Lord who is holy and true, before you will judge and bring to justice those on earth who spilled our blood?”
ਤ ਉੱਚੈਰਿਦੰ ਗਦਨ੍ਤਿ, ਹੇ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਤ੍ਯਮਯ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਰਕ੍ਤਪਾਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵੀਨਿਵਾਸਿਭਿ ਰ੍ਵਿਵਦਿਤੁੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਫਲ ਦਾਤੁਞ੍ਚ ਕਤਿ ਕਾਲੰ ਵਿਲਮ੍ਬਸੇ?
11 Each one of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait for a little longer until their number was complete—their fellow-believers and brothers who would be killed like them.
ਤਤਸ੍ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਏਕੈਕਸ੍ਮੈ ਸ਼ੁਭ੍ਰਃ ਪਰਿੱਛਦੋ (ਅ)ਦਾਯਿ ਵਾਗਿਯਞ੍ਚਾਕਥ੍ਯਤ ਯੂਯਮਲ੍ਪਕਾਲਮ੍ ਅਰ੍ਥਤੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਯੇ ਸਹਾਦਾਸਾ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰੋ ਯੂਯਮਿਵ ਘਾਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸੰਖ੍ਯਾ ਯਾਵਤ੍ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣਤਾਂ ਨ ਗੱਛਤਿ ਤਾਵਦ੍ ਵਿਰਮਤ|
12 When he opened the sixth seal there was a tremendous earthquake. The sun turned black like hair sackcloth and the whole moon turned red like blood.
ਅਨਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਯਦਾ ਸ ਸ਼਼ਸ਼਼੍ਠਮੁਦ੍ਰਾਮਮੋਚਯਤ੍ ਤਦਾ ਮਯਿ ਨਿਰੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮਾਣੇ ਮਹਾਨ੍ ਭੂਕਮ੍ਪੋ (ਅ)ਭਵਤ੍ ਸੂਰ੍ੱਯਸ਼੍ਚ ਉਸ਼਼੍ਟ੍ਰਲੋਮਜਵਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਵਤ੍ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਣਵਰ੍ਣਸ਼੍ਚਨ੍ਦ੍ਰਮਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਰਕ੍ਤਸਙ੍ਕਾਸ਼ੋ (ਅ)ਭਵਤ੍
13 The stars of heaven fell to earth like unripe figs falling from a fig tree shaken by a windstorm.
ਗਗਨਸ੍ਥਤਾਰਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰਬਲਵਾਯੁਨਾ ਚਾਲਿਤਾਦ੍ ਉਡੁਮ੍ਬਰਵ੍ਰੁʼਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਤ੍ ਨਿਪਾਤਿਤਾਨ੍ਯਪੱਕਫਲਾਨੀਵ ਭੂਤਲੇ ਨ੍ਯਪਤਨ੍|
14 The sky disappeared like a scroll rolling up, and all the mountains and islands were moved from where they were.
ਆਕਾਸ਼ਮਣ੍ਡਲਞ੍ਚ ਸਙ੍ਕੁਚ੍ਯਮਾਨਗ੍ਰਨ੍ਥਇਵਾਨ੍ਤਰ੍ਧਾਨਮ੍ ਅਗਮਤ੍ ਗਿਰਯ ਉਪਦ੍ਵੀਪਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਸ੍ਥਾਨਾਨ੍ਤਰੰ ਚਾਲਿਤਾਃ
15 The kings of the earth, the great leaders, the wealthy, the powerful, and all people, slave or free, hid themselves in caves and among the rocks in the mountains.
ਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵੀਸ੍ਥਾ ਭੂਪਾਲਾ ਮਹਾੱਲੋਕਾਃ ਸਹਸ੍ਤ੍ਰਪਤਯੋ ਧਨਿਨਃ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮਿਣਸ਼੍ਚ ਲੋਕਾ ਦਾਸਾ ਮੁਕ੍ਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ (ਅ)ਪਿ ਗੁਹਾਸੁ ਗਿਰਿਸ੍ਥਸ਼ੈਲੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਚ ਸ੍ਵਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾੱਛਾਦਯਨ੍|
16 They called on the mountains and the rocks, telling them, “Fall upon us! Hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne, and from the judgment of the Lamb.
ਤੇ ਚ ਗਿਰੀਨ੍ ਸ਼ੈਲਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਵਦਨ੍ਤਿ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਦੁਪਰਿ ਪਤਿਤ੍ਵਾ ਸਿੰਹਾਸਨੋਪਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਟਜਨਸ੍ਯ ਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟਿਤੋ ਮੇਸ਼਼ਸ਼ਾਵਕਸ੍ਯ ਕੋਪਾੱਚਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਗੋਪਾਯਤ;
17 For the terrible day of their judgment has come, and who can stand against it?”
ਯਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਸ੍ਯ ਮਹਾਦਿਨਮ੍ ਉਪਸ੍ਥਿਤੰ ਕਃ ਸ੍ਥਾਤੁੰ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਨੋਤਿ?
