< Revelation 10 >

1 Then I saw another powerful angel descending from heaven, with a cloud wrapped around him and with a rainbow over his head. His face looked like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
Ne ndaba malayika omulala ow’amaanyi ng’akka okuva mu ggulu nga yeetooloddwa ekire, ng’ayambadde musoke ku mutwe gwe; amaaso ge nga gaakaayakana ng’enjuba ate ebigere bye nga byaka ng’omuliro.
2 He was holding a small scroll that had already been opened. He placed his right foot on the sea, and this left foot on the land.
Yali alina mu ngalo ze omuzingo gw’ekitabo omutono ng’agwanjuluzza, n’ateeka ekigere kye ekya ddyo ku nnyanja ate ekya kkono n’akiteeka ku lukalu.
3 He gave a great shout, like a lion roaring. When he shouted, the seven thunders responded.
N’aleekaana mu ddoboozi ery’omwanguka nga liri ng’okuwuluguma kw’empologoma. Ne wabaawo n’okubwatuka kwa mirundi musanvu olw’eddoboozi eryo.
4 When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write down what they said when I heard a voice from heaven that told me, “Keep under seal what the seven thunders said. Don't write them down.”
Ebibwatuka omusanvu bwe byayogera, nnali n’atera okuwandiika, ne mpulira eddoboozi eryava mu ggulu nga ligamba nti, “Teeka akabonero ku ebyo ebibwatuka omusanvu bye byogedde, so tobiwandiika.”
5 The angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land held up his right hand to heaven.
Awo malayika gwe nalaba ng’ayimiridde ku nnyanja ne ku lukalu n’ayimusa omukono gwe ogwa ddyo eri eggulu,
6 He made a sacred oath by the one who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and everything in them, and the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it. “No more delay!” he said. (aiōn g165)
n’alayira Oyo omulamu abeerera emirembe gyonna, eyatonda eggulu n’ebintu byonna ebirimu, n’atonda n’ensi n’ebintu byonna ebigirimu, n’atonda n’ennyanja ne byonna ebigirimu, ng’agamba nti, “Tewaliba kulwa nate. (aiōn g165)
7 But at the time when the seventh angel speaks, when he blows his trumpet, then the mystery of God will be completed—the good news he announced through his servants the prophets.
Naye mu nnaku ez’eddoboozi lya malayika ow’omusanvu, bw’aliba anaatera okufuuwa ekkondeere, ekyama kya Katonda kiribikkulwa, nga bwe yabuulira abaddu be, bannabbi.”
8 Then I heard again the voice from heaven telling me, “Go and take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel that stands on the sea and on the land.”
Eddoboozi lye nnawulira nga liva mu ggulu, ne liddamu ne liŋŋamba nti, “Twala omuzingo gw’ekitabo nga mubikkule okuva mu mukono gwa malayika ayimiridde ku nnyanja ne ku lukalu.”
9 So I went to the angel, and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, “Take it and eat it up. It will be sour in your stomach, but sweet as honey in your mouth.”
Ne ŋŋenda eri malayika ne mugamba ampe omuzingo gw’ekitabo ogwo omutono. N’aŋŋamba nti, “Gutwale ogulye; mu kamwa ko guliwoomerera ng’omubisi gw’enjuki, naye guligulumbya olubuto lwo.”
10 I took the little scroll from the angel and ate it up. In my mouth it was as sweet as honey, but it was sour in my stomach.
Ne nziggya omuzingo ogwo omutono mu mukono gwa malayika ne ngulya, ne gumpomera ng’omubisi gw’enjuki, naye bwe nagumira ne gugulumbya olubuto lwange.
11 I was told, “You must prophesy again regarding many peoples, nations, languages, and kings.”
Ne baŋŋamba nti, “Kikugwanidde okuwa obunnabbi nate ku mawanga, n’ensi, n’ennimi ne bakabaka bangi.”
