< Psalms 87 >

1 A song. A psalm of the descendants of Korah. The Lord founded the city on his holy mountain.
Salimo la Ana a Kora. Iye wakhazikitsa maziko ake pa phiri loyera;
2 Jerusalem is the city that the Lord loves more than any other city in Israel.
Yehova amakonda zipata za Ziyoni kupambana malo onse okhalamo a Yakobo.
3 Many wonderful things are said of you, city of God! (Selah)
Za ulemerero wako zimakambidwa, Iwe mzinda wa Mulungu: (Sela)
4 I mention Egypt and Babylon as those who know me, and in addition Philistia, Tyre, and Ethiopia—“this man was born there.”
“Ndidzanena za Rahabe ndi Babuloni pakati pa iwo amene amandidziwa. Dzikonso la Filisitiya, Turo pamodzi ndi Kusi, ndipo ndidzati, ‘Uyu anabadwira mʼZiyoni.’”
5 It will be said concerning Jerusalem, “Everyone was born there,” and the Most High will make it secure.
Ndithudi, za Ziyoni adzanena kuti, “Uyu ndi uyo anabadwira mwa iye, ndipo Wammwambamwamba adzakhazikitsa iyeyo.”
6 When the Lord registers the nations, he will write, “They were born there.” (Selah)
Yehova adzalemba mʼbuku la kawundula wa anthu a mitundu ina: “Uyu anabadwira mʼZiyoni.” (Sela)
7 Singers and dancers alike say, “Living here I am at home.”
Oyimba ndi ovina omwe adzati, “Akasupe anga onse ali mwa iwe.”
