Philemon 1
1 This letter is sent from Paul, prisoner of Jesus Christ, and from our brother Timothy, to Philemon, our good friend and co-worker;
கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் கைதியாயிருக்கிற பவுலும், நமது சகோதரனாகிய தீமோத்தேயுவும், எங்கள் அன்புக்குரியவனும், எங்கள் உடன் ஊழியனுமான பிலேமோனுக்கும்,
2 to our sister Apphia, to Archippus who fights alongside us, and to your house church.
சகோதரி அப்பியாவுக்கும், எங்கள் உடன் போர்வீரனாகிய அர்க்கிப்புவுக்கும், உமது வீட்டில் கூடிவருகிற திருச்சபைக்கும் எழுதுகிறதாவது:
3 May you have grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
நம்முடைய பிதாவாகிய இறைவனாலும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவினாலும் கிருபையும் சமாதானமும் உண்டாவதாக.
4 I always thank my God for you, remembering you in my prayers,
என்னுடைய மன்றாட்டுகளில் நான் உன்னை நினைத்து, என் இறைவனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துகிறேன்.
5 because I hear of your trust in the Lord Jesus and your love for all believers.
ஏனெனில் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவில் நீ வைத்திருக்கும் விசுவாசத்தைக்குறித்தும், பரிசுத்தவான்கள் எல்லோரிடமும் நீ வைத்திருக்கும் அன்பைக்குறித்தும் நான் கேள்விப்படுகிறேன்.
6 I pray that you will put the generous nature of your trust in God into action as you recognize all the good things we share in Christ.
உன்னுடைய விசுவாசத்தில் நமது ஐக்கியம், கிறிஸ்துவுக்காக நாம் பெற்றிருக்கிற எல்லா நன்மைகளைக் குறித்தும் நீ முழுமையாக விளங்கிக்கொள்ள பயன்படவேண்டும் என்று மன்றாடுகிறேன்.
7 Your love, my dear brother, has brought me much happiness and encouragement. You have really inspired those of us who believe!
சகோதரனே, நீ பரிசுத்தவான்களின் இருதயங்களுக்கு புத்துயிரூட்டியிருக்கிறாய். உனது அந்த அன்பு எனக்கு மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியையும் உற்சாகத்தையும் கொடுத்திருக்கிறது.
8 That's why even though I'm brave enough in Christ to order you to do your duty,
எனவே நீ என்ன செய்யவேண்டும் என்பதை, உனக்குக் கட்டளையிட்டுச் சொல்ல, கிறிஸ்துவில் நான் துணிவுடையவனாய் இருந்தாலும்,
9 I would rather ask you this favor out of love. Old Paul, now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus,
நான் அன்பின் அடிப்படையிலேயே உன்னிடம் வேண்டுகிறேன். எனவே வயது சென்றவனும், இப்பொழுது கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவின் பொருட்டு சிறைக்கைதியாய் இருக்கிறவனுமான பவுலாகிய நான்,
10 is appealing to you on behalf of Onesimus who became my adopted son during my imprisonment.
எனது மகன் ஒநேசிமுவுக்காகவே உன்னிடம் வேண்டிக்கொள்கிறேன். நான் விலங்கிடப்பட்டிருக்கையில் அவன் எனக்கு மகனானான்.
11 In the past he was of no use to you, but now he's useful to both you and me!
முன்பு அவன் உனக்குப் பயனற்றவனாய் இருந்தான். ஆனால் இப்போதோ, அவன் உனக்கும் எனக்கும் பயனுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறான்.
12 I send him to you with my fondest wishes.
என் உயிரோடு ஒன்றித்துவிட்ட அவனை, நான் உன்னிடம் திருப்பி அனுப்புகிறேன்.
13 I'd have preferred to keep him here with me so that he could have helped me as you would have done while I am in chains for telling the good news.
நற்செய்திக்காக இங்கு விலங்கிடப்பட்டிருக்கிற எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்படி, உனக்குப் பதிலாய் ஒநேசிமுவை என்னுடன் வைத்திருக்க நான் விரும்பினேன்.
14 But I decided not do anything without your permission. I didn't want you to be forced to do good, but to do so willingly.
ஆனால் உன்னுடைய சம்மதமின்றி எதையும் செய்ய நான் விரும்பவில்லை. ஏனெனில், நீ செய்கிற எந்த உதவியையும் நீயாக மனமுவந்து செய்ய வேண்டுமேயன்றி, எனது வற்புறுத்தலின் பேரில் அதைச் செய்யக்கூடாது என்று நான் எண்ணினேன்.
சிறிதுகாலம் ஒநேசிமு உன்னைவிட்டுப் பிரிந்திருந்தான். ஒருவேளை அவன் திரும்பிவந்து, நிரந்தரமாகவே உன்னுடன் இருக்கும்படியே இது நிகழ்ந்திருக்கலாம். (aiōnios g166)
16 He's not a servant anymore, because he's more than a servant. He's a specially-loved brother, particularly to me, and even more to you, both as a man and as a fellow-believer in the Lord.
அதாவது இனிமேலும் அவன் அடிமையாய் அல்ல, அடிமையைவிட பயனுள்ள அன்புக்குரிய சகோதரனாக உன்னுடன் இருக்கும்படியே ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும். அவன் எனக்கு மிகவும் அன்புக்குரியவன். ஆனாலும் அதைவிட ஒரு மனிதன் என்ற வகையிலும், கர்த்தரில் ஒரு சகோதரன் என்ற வகையிலும், அவன் உனக்கு இன்னும் அதிக அன்புக்குரியவனாய் இருக்கிறான்.
17 So if you consider me as a colleague working together with you for the Lord, welcome him as if you were welcoming me.
ஆகவே நான் உனக்கு ஐக்கியமானவன் என்று நீ எண்ணினால், என்னை ஏற்றுக்கொள்வதுபோல் அவனையும் ஏற்றுக்கொள்.
18 If he has done you any wrong, or owes you anything, charge it to my account.
அவன் உனக்கு ஏதாவது தீமை செய்திருந்தாலோ, அல்லது அவன் உனக்கு கடன் ஏதாவது கொடுக்கவேண்டியிருந்தாலோ, அதை என்னுடைய கணக்கில் வைத்துவிடு.
19 I Paul am signing this with my own hand: I will repay you. Of course I won't mention what you owe me, including your very self!
நான் அதை உனக்குத் திருப்பிக் கொடுப்பேன் என்று பவுலாகிய நான் இதை என் சொந்தக் கையினாலே எழுதுகிறேன். இவ்வேளையில், உன்னையே நீ எனக்குக் கொடுக்கவேண்டியவனாய் இருக்கிறாய் என்று நான் உனக்குச் சொல்லவேண்டியதில்லை.
20 Yes, brother, I'm expecting this favor from you in the Lord; please make me happy in Christ.
சகோதரனே, இந்த உதவியை எனக்குச் செய். அப்பொழுது கர்த்தரில் உன்னிடமிருந்து சிறிதளவு நன்மை பெறுவேன்; நீ கிறிஸ்துவில் என் உள்ளத்திற்கு புத்துயிரூட்டுவாய்.
21 I'm writing about this to you because I'm convinced you'll do as I ask—in fact I know you'll do even more than I've asked!
உனது கீழ்ப்படிதலில் மனவுறுதி உள்ளவனாக நான் இதை உனக்கு எழுதுகிறேன். நான் கேட்டுக்கொள்வதைவிட அதிகமாய்ச் செய்வாய் என்று எனக்குத் தெரியும்.
22 In the meantime please have a room ready for me, for I hope to be able to return to see you soon in answer to your prayers.
மேலும் ஒரு வேண்டுகோள்: எனக்காக ஒரு தங்கும் இடத்தை ஆயத்தம் செய். ஏனெனில் உங்களுடைய மன்றாட்டுகளின் பிரதிபலனாக, நான் மீண்டும் உங்களிடம் வருவேன் என்று எதிர்பார்க்கிறேன்.
23 Epaphras who is here in prison with me sends his greetings,
கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவுக்காக என்னுடன் சிறைக்கைதியாய் இருக்கும் எப்பாப்பிராவும், உனக்கு வாழ்த்துதல்களை அனுப்புகிறான்.
24 as do my co-workers Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, and Luke.
அப்படியே என் உடன் ஊழியர்களான மாற்குவும், அரிஸ்தர்க்கும், தேமாவும், லூக்காவும் வாழ்த்துதல் அனுப்புகிறார்கள்.
25 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all of you.
கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் கிருபை உங்கள் ஆவியுடன் இருப்பதாக.
