Matthew 23
1 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and his disciples:
तवय येशु, लोकसनी गर्दीले अनी त्याना शिष्यसले बोलना,
2 “The religious teachers and the Pharisees are responsible as interpreters of the law of Moses,
शास्त्री अनं परूशी या मोशेना आसनवर बठेल शेतस.
3 so obey them and do everything they tell you. But don't follow what they do, because they don't practice what they preach.
यामुये त्या जे काही तुमले सांगतीन ते पाळा अनं तस वागा, पण त्या जश करतस तस करू नका; कारण त्या जे सांगतस ते करतस नही,
4 They tie up heavy burdens, and place them on people's shoulders, but they themselves don't lift a finger to help them.
त्या जड ओझं बांधीन लोकसना खांदावर टाकतस, पण त्या स्वतः त्याले बोट बी लावतस नही;
5 Everything they do is to make sure they get noticed. They make themselves large prayer boxes to wear and long tassels on their clothes.
अनी त्या आपला सर्वा कामे लोकसले दखाडाकरता करतस, त्या आपला ताईत मोठा बनाडतस अनं आपला कपडासना किनारले गोंडा लाईन आम्हीन भलता पवित्र शेतस असा दखाडतस.
6 They love to have the places of honor at banquets and the best seats in the synagogues.
पंगतमा मुख्य स्थान अनं सभास्थानमा मुख्य आसन,
7 They love to be greeted with respect in the market places, and for people to call them, ‘Rabbi.’
बजारमा लोकसकडतीन आदर करी लेवाणं अनं स्वतःले गुरजी, अस म्हणी लेवाणं हाई त्यासले आवडस
8 Don't let people call you ‘Rabbi.’ Only one is your Master Teacher, and you are all brothers.
तुम्हीन स्वतःले लोकसकडतीन गुरजी म्हणी लेवु नका; कारण तुमना गुरू एक शे अनं तुम्हीन सर्व भाऊ-भाऊ शेतस.
9 Don't call anyone by the title ‘Father’ here on earth. Only one is your Father, who is in heaven.
जगमा कोनले बी पिता म्हनान नही, कारण तुमना पिता एकच शे अनं तो स्वर्गामा शे.
10 Don't let people call you ‘Teacher.’ Only one is your Teacher, the Messiah.
तसच तुम्हीन स्वतःले स्वामी म्हणी लेवु नका कारण तुमना एकच स्वामी शे, तो म्हणजे ख्रिस्त शे.
11 The greatest among you will be your servant.
तुमनामा जो मोठा शे त्यानी तुमना सेवक व्हवाले पाहिजे.
12 Those who make themselves great will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be made great.
जो कोणी स्वतःले मोठा माणुस समजी, त्याले सर्वात खालना माणुस म्हणतीन, अनी जो कोणी स्वतःले लिन नम्र बनाडी त्या माणुसले मोठा म्हणतीन.
13 But what a disaster is coming on you, religious teachers and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You slam shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people's faces. You yourselves don't go in, yet you don't let anyone in who is trying to enter.
अरे शास्त्री अनं परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण लोकसनी मझार जावाले नको म्हणीन तुम्हीन स्वर्गना राज्यनं दार बंद करतस; तुम्हीन स्वतःबी मझार जातस नही अनी मझार जाणारासले बी जाऊ देतस नही.
अरे शास्त्री अनी परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण तुम्हीन विधवासना घरसना नुकसान करी टाकतस अनं दिखावाकरता मोठी प्रार्थना करतस, यामुये तुमले सर्वात जास्त भोग भोगना पडी.
15 What a disaster is coming on you, religious teachers and Pharisees, you hypocrites! For you travel over land and sea to make a single convert, and when you do, you make him twice a son of darkness as you are yourselves. (Geenna g1067)
अरे शास्त्रीसवन अनं परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण तुम्हीन एक शिष्य बनाडाकरता जमीन अनं समुद्र पालथा घालतस अनी तो भेटना तर तुम्हीन त्याले स्वतःपेक्षा दुप्पट नरकना भागीदार बनाडतस. (Geenna g1067)
16 What a disaster is coming on those of you who say, ‘If you swear by the Temple that doesn't count, but if you swear by the gold of the Temple, then you have to keep your oath.’ How foolish and blind you are!
अरे वाट दखाडणारा आंधयासवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण तुम्हीन म्हणतस, कोणी मंदिरनी शप्पथ लिधी तरी काही हरकत नही पण मंदिरमा जे सोनं शे, त्यानी शप्पथ लिधी तर ती मोडता येवाव नही.
17 What is greater—the gold, or the Temple that makes the gold holy?
अरे मुर्ख अनं आंधया लोकसवन, मोठं काय शे, ते सोनं की ज्यामुये ते सोनं पवित्र व्हयेल शे ते मंदिर?
18 You say, ‘If you swear on the altar that doesn't count, but if you swear on the sacrifice that's on the altar, then you have to keep your oath.’
तुम्हीन म्हणतस कोणी वेदीनी शप्पथ लिधी तर काहीच हरकत नही, पण जर कोणी तिनावर अर्पण करतस त्या अर्पणनी शप्पथ लिधी तर ती मोडता येवाव नही.
19 How blind you are! What is greater—the sacrifice, or the altar that makes the sacrifice holy?
अरे आंधयासवन, मोठं काय शे; अर्पण की, अर्पणले पवित्र करस ती वेदी?
20 If you swear by the altar, you swear by it and by everything that's on it.
पण जो कोणी वेदीनी शप्पथ लेस तो तिनी अनी तिनावर जे काही ठेयल शे त्यानी शप्पथ लेस;
21 If you swear by the Temple you swear by it and by the one who lives there.
अनी जो कोणी मंदिरनी अनं त्यामा राहणारा देवनी शप्पथ लेस;
22 If you swear by heaven you swear by the throne of God and the one who sits there.
अनी जो स्वर्गनी शप्पथ लेस तो देवना सिंहासन नी अनी त्यावर जो बठस त्यानी बी शप्पथ लेस.
23 What a disaster is coming on you, religious teachers and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You pay a tithe of mint, aniseed, and cumin, but you neglect the vital aspects of the law—doing good, showing mercy, exercising trust. Yes, you should pay your tithe, but don't forget these other things.
अरे शास्त्री अनं परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण पुदिना, सौफ अनी जिरा याना दशांश तुम्हीन देतस अनी नियमशास्त्रमाधल्या मुख्य गोष्टी म्हणजे न्याय, दया अनं ईश्वास यासले तुम्हीन धाकल्या गोष्टी समजीन सोडी दिध्यात; ह्या गोष्टी कराले पाहिजे व्हत्यात, तसच आखो महत्वन्या गोष्टी शेतस त्यासले पण तुम्हीन सोडी देऊ नका.
24 You blind guides—you strain what you drink to keep out a fly but then you swallow a camel!
अरे आंधळी वाट दखाडनारासवन, तुम्हीन मच्छरले निवडीन काढतस अनं उंटले गिळी टाकतस.
25 What a disaster is coming on you, religious teachers and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside you're full of greed and self-indulgence.
अरे शास्त्री अनं परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन तुमना धिक्कार असो! तुम्हीन बी आपली ताटवाटी बाहेरतीन घाशीन पुशीन स्वच्छ करतस पण मझारमा हावरटपणा अनं जुलूम यासनी घाण भरी ठेयल शे.
26 You blind Pharisees! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, so that the outside will also be clean.
अरे आंधळ्या परूशी, पहिले वाटी मझारतीन साफ करा, म्हणजे ती बाहेरतीन साफ व्हई.
27 What a disaster is coming on you, religious teachers and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like white-washed tombs, looking good on the outside, but on the inside full of skeletons and all kinds of rottenness.
अरे शास्त्रीसवन अनं परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण तुम्हीन चुना लायेल कबरसनामायक शेतस, त्या बाहेरतीन सुंदर दखातस, पण मझारतीन मरेलसना हाडसनी अनं सर्व प्रकारना घाणनी भरेल शेतस;
28 You're just the same. On the outside you look like good people to others, but on the inside you're full of hypocrisy and wickedness.
तस तुम्हीन बाहेरतीन लोकसले न्यायी दिसतस, पण मझारतीन ढोंग अनं अधर्मनी भरेल शेतस.
29 What a disaster is coming on you, religious teachers and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs as memorials to the prophets, and decorate the tombs of the good,
अरे शास्त्री अनं परूशीसवन, अरे ढोंगीसवन, तुमना धिक्कार असो! कारण तुम्हीन संदेष्टासना कबरी बांधतस अनं साधु संतना कबरसले तुम्हीन सजाडतस.
30 and you say, ‘If we had lived in the times of our ancestors we would not have joined them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’
अनी म्हणतस आम्हीन आमना वाडवडीलसना काळमा त्यासनासंगे राहतुत तर संदेष्टासनी हत्या करामा आम्हीन त्यासले साथ नही देतुत.
31 But by saying this you testify against yourselves, proving that you belong to those who murdered the prophets!
यावरतीन तुम्हीन स्वतःच सांगतस की, तुम्हीन संदेष्टासनी हत्या करनारासना पोऱ्या शेतस;
32 So get on with it—finish it all off using your forefathers' methods!
तुम्हीन, तुमना पुर्वजसनी जी वाईट करणी करीसन आर्ध माप भरेल शे, ते तुम्हीन दुष्टाई करीसन पुरं भरी टाका.
33 You snakes, you brood of vipers, how will you escape the judgment of condemnation? (Geenna g1067)
अरे सापसवन, सापसना पिल्लसवन नरकमा जावानी शिक्षा तुम्हीन कशी चुकाडशात? (Geenna g1067)
34 That's why I'm sending you prophets, wise men, and teachers. Some of them you will kill, some of them you will crucify, and some of them you will flog in your synagogues, hunting them from town to town.
म्हणीन दखा, मी तुमनाकडे संदेष्टासले, ज्ञानी लोकसले अनं शास्त्री यासले धाडसु; तुम्हीन त्यामाधला कित्येक जणसले मारी टाकशात अनं काहीसले क्रुसखांबवर खियासघाई ठोकीन मारशात अनी बाकीनासले तुमना सभास्थानमा फटका मारशात अनं प्रत्येक शहरमा त्यासले त्रास देत फिरशात.
35 As a result, you will be held accountable for the blood of all the good people that has been poured out on the land—from the blood of Abel, who did what was right, to the blood of Zachariah son of Barachiah, whom you killed between the Temple and the altar.
अनी जितला न्यायी लोकसनं रंगत पृथ्वीवर व्हावाडेल शे ते तुमना माथे पडी, याना अर्थ न्यायी हाबेल पाईन तर बरख्याना पोऱ्या जखऱ्या पावत, ज्यासले तुम्हीन मंदिर अनी वेदीना मझार मारी टाकेल शे.
36 I'm telling you, the consequences of all this will fall on this generation.
मी तुमले सत्य सांगस, की ह्या सर्वा गोष्टी हाई पिढीना माथे पडीतीन.
37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those who are sent to you! So often I wanted to gather your children as a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings—but you wouldn't let me.
“यरूशलेमा, यरूशलेमा, तु संदेष्टासले मारी टाकस अनी ज्यासले तुनाकडे धाडतस त्यासले तु दगडमार करस, मनी कितलींदाव ईच्छा व्हती की, जशी कोंबडी तिना पिल्लासले आपला पंखखाल गोळा करस तसच मी बी तुना पोऱ्यासले गोळा करसु,” पण तुनी ईच्छा नव्हती!
38 Now look—your house is left abandoned, totally empty.
म्हणीन आते तुमनं घर ओसाड अवस्थामा तुमलेच सोपी देयल शे.
39 I tell you this: you won't see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.’”
मी तुमले सांगस की, आत्तेपाईन “प्रभुना नावतीन येणारा तो आशिर्वादित शे, अस म्हणशात तोपावत मी तुमना नजरमा पडावु नही.”
