Matthew 10

1 Jesus called his twelve disciples together and gave them power to throw out evil spirits, and to heal all kinds of diseases and sicknesses.

۱ و دوازده شاگرد خود را طلبیده، ایشان را بر ارواح پلید قدرت داد که آنها رابیرون کنند و هر بیماری و رنجی را شفا دهند.

2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon, (also called Peter), Andrew his brother, James the son of Zebedee, John his brother,

۲ ونامهای دوازده رسول این است: اول شمعون معروف به پطرس و برادرش اندریاس؛ یعقوب بن زبدی و برادرش یوحنا؛

3 Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Matthew the tax-collector, James the son of Alphaeus, Thaddeus,

۳ فیلپس و برتولما؛ توماو متای باجگیر؛ یعقوب بن حلفی و لبی معروف به تدی؛

4 Simon the revolutionary, and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus.

۴ شمعون قانوی و یهودای اسخریوطی که او را تسلیم نمود.

5 These Twelve Jesus sent out, telling them, “Don't go to the foreigners, or to any Samaritan city.

۵ این دوازده را عیسی فرستاده، بدیشان وصیت کرده، گفت: «از راه امت‌ها مروید و دربلدی از سامریان داخل مشوید،

6 You are to go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

۶ بلکه نزدگوسفندان گم شده اسرائیل بروید.

7 Wherever you go, tell the people, ‘The kingdom of heaven is near.’

۷ و چون می‌روید، موعظه کرده، گویید که ملکوت آسمان نزدیک است.

8 Heal those who are sick. Resurrect the dead. Cure the lepers. Drive out demons. You received freely, so give freely!

۸ بیماران را شفا دهید، ابرصان راطاهر سازید، مردگان را زنده کنید، دیوها را بیرون نمایید. مفت یافته‌اید، مفت بدهید.

9 Don't carry any gold, silver, or copper coins in your pockets,

۹ طلا یا نقره یا مس در کمرهای خود ذخیره مکنید،

10 or a bag for your journey, or two cloaks, or sandals, or a walking stick, for a worker deserves to be supported.

۱۰ و برای سفر، توشه‌دان یا دو پیراهن یا کفشها یا عصابرندارید، زیرا که مزدور مستحق خوراک خوداست.

11 Wherever you go, whatever town or village, ask for someone who lives according to good principles, and remain there until you leave.

۱۱ و در هر شهری یا قریه‌ای که داخل شوید، بپرسید که در آنجا که لیاقت دارد؛ پس درآنجا بمانید تا بیرون روید.

12 When you enter the house, give it your blessing.

۱۲ و چون به خانه‌ای درآیید، بر آن سلام نمایید؛

13 If the home deserves it, let your peace rest on it, but if it doesn't deserve it, let your peace return to you.

۱۳ پس اگر خانه لایق باشد، سلام شما بر آن واقع خواهد شد و اگرنالایق بود، سلام شما به شما خواهد برگشت.

14 If someone doesn't welcome you, and refuses to listen to what you have to say, then leave that house or that town, shaking its dust off your feet as you go.

۱۴ و هر‌که شما را قبول نکند یا به سخن شماگوش ندهد، از آن خانه یا شهر بیرون شده، خاک پایهای خود را برافشانید.

15 I tell you the truth, it will be better for Sodom and Gomorrah at the Day of Judgment than for that town!

۱۵ هرآینه به شمامی گویم که در روز جزا حالت زمین سدوم وغموره از آن شهر سهل تر خواهد بود.

16 Look, I'm sending you out like sheep among wolves. So be as wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

۱۶ هان، من شما را مانند گوسفندان در میان گرگان می‌فرستم؛ پس مثل مارها هوشیار و چون کبوتران ساده باشید.

17 Watch out for those who will hand you over to be tried by town councils and will whip you in their synagogues.

۱۷ اما از مردم برحذر باشید، زیرا که شما را به مجلسها تسلیم خواهند کرد ودر کنایس خود شما را تازیانه خواهند زد،

18 You will be dragged before governors and kings because of me, to witness to them and to the foreigners.

۱۸ ودر حضور حکام و سلاطین، شما را بخاطر من خواهند برد تا بر ایشان و بر امت‌ها شهادتی شود.

19 But when they put you on trial, don't worry about how you should speak or what you should say, because you'll be told what to say at the right time.

۱۹ اما چون شما را تسلیم کنند، اندیشه مکنید که چگونه یا چه بگویید زیرا در همان ساعت به شماعطا خواهد شد که چه باید گفت،

20 For it isn't you who will speak but the spirit of the Father will speak through you.

۲۰ زیرا گوینده شما نیستید بلکه روح پدر شما، در شما گوینده است.

21 Brother will betray brother and have him killed, and a father will do the same to his child. Children will rebel against their parents, and have them put to death.

۲۱ و برادر، برادر را و پدر، فرزند را به موت تسلیم خواهند کرد و فرزندان بر والدین خودبرخاسته، ایشان را به قتل خواهند رسانید؛

22 Everyone will hate you because you follow me, but those who endure until the end will be saved.

۲۲ و به جهت اسم من، جمیع مردم از شما نفرت خواهندکرد. لیکن هر‌که تا به آخر صبر کند، نجات یابد.

23 When you're persecuted in one town, run away to the next. I'm telling the truth: you won't finish going to the towns of Israel before the Son of man comes.

۲۳ و وقتی که در یک شهر بر شما جفا کنند، به دیگری فرار کنید زیرا هرآینه به شما می‌گویم تاپسر انسان نیاید، از همه شهرهای اسرائیل نخواهید پرداخت.

24 Disciples are not more important than their teacher; servants are not more important than their master.

۲۴ شاگرد از معلم خود افضل نیست و نه غلام از آقایش برتر.

25 Disciples should be satisfied to become like their teacher, and servants like their master. If the head of the house has been called the head demon Beelzebub, then the members of his household will be demonized even more!

۲۵ کافی است شاگرد را که چون استاد خویش گردد و غلام را که چون آقای خودشود. پس اگر صاحب‌خانه را بعلزبول خواندند، چقدر زیادتر اهل خانه‌اش را.

26 So don't be frightened of them, for there's nothing covered that won't be exposed, and nothing hidden that won't be made known.

۲۶ لهذا از ایشان مترسید زیرا چیزی مستور نیست که مکشوف نگردد و نه مجهولی که معلوم نشود.

27 What I tell you here in the dark, declare when it's light, and what you hear whispered in your ear, shout from the rooftops.

۲۷ آنچه درتاریکی به شما می‌گویم، در روشنایی بگویید، وآنچه در گوش شنوید بر بامها موعظه کنید.

28 Don't be afraid of those who can kill you physically, but can't kill you spiritually. Instead, be afraid of the one who can destroy you physically and spiritually in the fires of destruction. (Geenna g1067)

۲۸ واز قاتلان جسم که قادر بر کشتن روح نی‌اند، بیم مکنید بلکه از او بترسید که قادر است بر هلاک کردن روح و جسم را نیز در جهنم. (Geenna g1067)

29 Aren't two sparrows sold for just one penny? But not a single one of them falls to the ground without your Father knowing about it.

۲۹ آیا دوگنجشک به یک فلس فروخته نمی شود؟ و حال آنکه یکی از آنها جز به حکم پدر شما به زمین نمی افتد.

30 Even the hairs on your head have all been counted.

۳۰ لیکن همه مویهای سر شما نیزشمرده شده است.

31 So don't worry—you're worth more than many sparrows!

۳۱ پس ترسان مباشید زیراشما از گنجشکان بسیار افضل هستید.

32 Anyone who publicly declares their commitment to me, I will also declare my commitment to them before my Father in heaven.

۳۲ پس هر‌که مرا پیش مردم اقرار کند، من نیزدر حضور پدر خود که در آسمان است، او رااقرار خواهم کرد.

33 But anyone who publicly denies me, I will also deny before my Father in heaven.

۳۳ اما هر‌که مرا پیش مردم انکار نماید، من هم در حضور پدر خود که در آسمان است او را انکار خواهم نمود.

34 Don't think I've come to bring peace on earth. I haven't come to bring peace, but a sword.

۳۴ گمان مبرید که آمده‌ام تا سلامتی بر زمین بگذارم. نیامده‌ام تا سلامتی بگذارم بلکه شمشیر را.

35 I've come ‘to turn a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

۳۵ زیرا که آمده‌ام تا مرد را از پدر خود و دختر رااز مادر خویش و عروس را از مادر شوهرش جداسازم.

36 Your enemies will be those of your own family!’

۳۶ و دشمنان شخص، اهل خانه او خواهندبود.

37 If you love your father or mother more than me you don't deserve to be mine, and if you love your son or daughter more than me you don't deserve to be mine.

۳۷ و هر‌که پدر یا مادر را بیش از من دوست دارد؛ لایق من نباشد و هر‌که پسر یا دختر را از من زیاده دوست دارد، لایق من نباشد.

38 If you don't pick up your cross and follow me you don't deserve to be mine.

۳۸ و هر‌که صلیب خود را برنداشته، از عقب من نیاید، لایق من نباشد.

39 If you try to save your life, you will lose it, but if you lose your life because of me you will save it.

۳۹ هر‌که جان خود را دریابد، آن راهلاک سازد و هر‌که جان خود را بخاطر من هلاک کرد، آن را خواهد دریافت.

40 Those who welcome you welcome me, and those who welcome me welcome the one that sent me.

۴۰ هر‌که شما را قبول کند، مرا قبول کرده و کسی‌که مرا قبول کرده، فرستنده مرا قبول کرده باشد.

41 Those who welcome a prophet because that's what they are will receive the same reward as a prophet. Those who welcome someone who does right will receive the same reward as someone who does right.

۴۱ و آنکه نبی‌ای رابه اسم نبی پذیرد، اجرت نبی یابد و هر‌که عادلی را به اسم عادلی پذیرفت، مزد عادل را خواهدیافت.

42 I tell you the truth, those who give a drink of cool water to the least important of my disciples will definitely not miss out on their reward.”

۴۲ و هر‌که یکی از این صغار را کاسه‌ای ازآب سرد محض نام شاگرد نوشاند، هرآینه به شمامی گویم اجر خودرا ضایع نخواهد ساخت.»
