< Luke 17 >

1 Jesus said to his disciples, “Temptations are unavoidable, but it will be a disaster for those through whom they come!
Kinuna ni Hesus kadagiti adalanna, “Pudno nga umay dagiti banbanag a pakaigapuan iti panagbasol, ngem asi pay isuna a pagapuan dagitoy nga ummay!
2 For such people it would be better to have a millstone hung around the neck and be thrown into the sea than to cause these little ones to sin.
Nasaysayaat pay no makabilan ti tengngedna iti bato a paggilingan ken maitapuak isuna iti baybay, ngem ti agbalin a pakaigapuan a maysa kadagitoy nga babassit nga maitublak.
3 So take care what you do. If your brother sins, warn him; and if he repents, forgive him.
Siputanyo dagiti bagbagiyo. No nakabasol ti kabsatyo, babalawenyo isuna, ken no agbabawi, pakawanenyo isuna.
4 Even if he sins against you seven times a day, and seven times comes back and tells you, ‘I'm really sorry,’ forgive him.”
No nakabasol isuna kenka iti naminpito a daras iti maysa nga aldaw, ken maminpito a daras nga agsubli kenka, a kunana, 'Agbabawiak,' masapul a pakawanenyo isuna!”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Help us to have more trust!”
Kinuna dagiti apostol iti Apo, “Padakkelem ti pammatimi.”
6 The Lord replied, “Even if your trust was as small as a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Uproot yourself, and plant yourself in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Kinuna ti Apo, “No adda pammatiyo a kas iti bukel ti mustasa, mabalinyo nga kunaen iti daytoy nga kayo iti sikamoro, 'Maparutka, ken maimulaka iti baybay,' ken adda nga agtulnog kenka.
7 Say you have a servant who does plowing or shepherding. When he comes in from work, do you say to him, ‘Come in and sit down now for a meal’?
Ngem siasino kadakayo, nga addaan iti adipen nga agar-arado wenno aggay-aywan iti karnero, ibagana kenkuana no sumangpet manipud iti taltalon, 'Umayka a dagus ket agtugawka tapno manganka.'
8 No. You say to him, ‘Prepare a meal for me, get yourself dressed, and serve me until I've finished my meal. After that you can have your meal.’
Saanna kadi nga ibaga kenkuana, 'Mangisaganaka iti aniaman a taraon nga kanek, ken agikabilka iti barikes dita kawesmo ken pagserbiannak agingga a malpasak a mangan ken uminom. Ket kalpasanna mabalinkan a mangan ken uminom'?
9 And do you thank the servant for doing what you told him? No.
Saan isuna nga agyaman iti adipen gapu ta inaramidna dagiti banbanag a naibilin, saan kadi?
10 Likewise once you've done everything you were told, you should simply say, ‘We are undeserving servants. We just did our duty.’”
Uray met kadakayo, inton naaramidyo amin nga naibilin kadakayo, masapul nga ibagayo, 'Dikami maikari nga ad-adipen. Inaramidmi laeng no ania ti rumbeng nga aramidenmi.'”
11 As Jesus continued on his way to Jerusalem, he passed along the border between Samaria and Galilee.
Napasamak ket kabayatan nga addada iti dalan nga agturong idiay Jerusalem, agdaldalyasat isuna idiay nagbaetan ti Samaria ken ti Galilea.
12 As he entered a particular village, ten lepers met him, standing at a distance.
Idi sumrek isuna iti maysa nga barrio, sadiay sinabat isuna iti sangapulo a lallaki nga agketong. Nakatakderda iti adayo manipud kenkuana
13 They called out, “Jesus, Master, please have mercy on us.”
ken inngatoda dagiti timekda, a kunada, “Hesus, Maestro, kaasiannakami.”
14 When Jesus saw them, he said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” On their way there, they were healed.
Idi nakitana isuda, kinunana kadakuada, “Mapankayo ken agparangkayo kadagiti papadi.” Ken dimteng dayta a kanito, kabayatan nga mapmapanda, isuda ket nadalusan.
15 One of them when he saw that he was healed, returned to Jesus, shouting praises to God.
Idi nakita ti maysa kadakuada nga immimbagen isuna, nagsubli, ket iti napigsa a timek ket indaydayawna iti Dios.
16 He fell down at Jesus' feet, thanking him. He was a Samaritan.
Nagdumog isuna iti sakaanan ni Hesus, ket nagyaman kenkuana. Isuna ket Samaritano.
17 “Weren't ten lepers healed?” Jesus asked. “Where are the other nine?
Iti sungbat ni Hesus, kinunana, “Saan aya nga sangapulo ti nadalusan? Ayandan dagiti siam?
18 Didn't anyone else come back to praise God—only this foreigner?”
Awan kadin ti dadduma nga nagsubli nga mangted dayaw iti Dios, malaksid iti daytoy a gangannaet?”
19 Jesus told the man, “Get up and go on your way. Your trust has healed you.”
Kinunana kenkuana, “Tumakderka, ken mapanka. Ti pammatim ti nangpaimbag kenka.”
20 Once, when the Pharisees came and asked him when God's kingdom would come, Jesus replied, “God's kingdom doesn't come with visible signs that you can observe.
Gapu ta sinaludsod dagiti Pariseo no kaano nga umay ti pagarian ti Dios, simmungbat ni Hesus kadakuada a kinunana, “Ti pagarian ti Dios ket saan a maysa nga banag a maimatangan.
21 People won't be saying, ‘Look, it's here’ or ‘Look, it's there,’ for God's kingdom is among you.”
Urayno ibagadanto, 'Kumita ditoy! wenno, 'Kumita idiay!' gapu ta iti pagarian ti Dios ket adda kadakayo.”
22 Then Jesus told the disciples, “The time is coming when you'll long to see the day when the Son of man comes, but you won't see it.
Kinuna ni Jesus kadagiti adalan, “Umayto dagiti al-aldaw a tarigagayanyo nga makita ti maysa kadagiti aldaw iti Anak iti Tao, ngem daytoy ket saanyonto a makita.
23 They'll be telling you, ‘Look, there he is,’ or ‘Look, here he is,’ but don't go running off after them.
Ibagada kadakayo, 'Kitaenyo, idiay! Kitaenyo, ditoy!' Ngem diyo mapan kitaen, wenno sursuroten ida,
24 The day when the Son of man comes will be just like lightning that flashes, lighting up the sky from one side to the other.
gapu ta no kasano ti panagparang ti kimat inton aggilap manipud iti maysa a paset ti tangatang nga agturong iti maysa a paset ti tangatang, ngarud kasdiayto met ti Anak ti Tao inton aldawna.
25 But first he will have to suffer many things, and be rejected by this generation.
Ngem masapul nga agsagaba nga umuna iti adu a banbanag ken laksiden daytoy a kaputotan.
26 The time when the Son of man comes will be like it was in Noah's day.
Kas iti napasamak idi al-aldaw ni Noe, kasdiayto met ti mapasamak kadagiti al-aldaw iti Anak ti Tao.
27 People went on eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day Noah went into the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.
Nanganda, nagbartekda, nangasawada, ken naitedda nga maasawa, agingga iti aldaw nga simrek ni Noe iti daong - ken immay ti layus a nangdadael kadakuada amin.
28 It will be like it was in Lot's day. People went on eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.
Kasta met iti napasamak idi al-aldaw ni Lot, nanganda, nagbartek, naggatang, naglaku, nagmula, ken nagpatakderda.
29 But on the day Lot left Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Ngem iti aldaw nga rimmuar ni Lot manipud iti Sodoma, nagtudo iti apuy ken asupre manipud langit ket dinadaelna ida amin.
30 The day when the Son of man appears will be just like that.
Kastanto met ti mapasamak inton aldaw nga maipakaamo iti Anak ti Tao.
31 If you're up on the roof that day don't go down and get your things; and if you're out in the fields don't go back home either.
Iti dayta nga aldaw, saanto a mapalubosan ti siasinoman nga adda iti tuktok ti balay nga bumaba tapno iruarna dagiti gamengna manipud iti balay. Ken saanto met a mapalubusan nga agsubli ti siasinoman nga adda iti kataltalunan.
32 Remember Lot's wife!
Lagipenyo ti asawa ni Lot.
33 If you try to hold on to your life you'll lose it; but if you lose your life you'll save it.
Ti siasinoman nga mangbiruk tapno magun-odna iti biagna ket mapukawnanto daytoy, ngem ti siasinoman nga makapukaw iti biagna maisalakannanto daytoy.
34 I tell you, at that time two will be in bed at night; one will be taken and the other left.
Ibagak kadakayo, iti dayta a rabii addanto dua nga lalaki iti maymaysa a pagiddaan. Maalanto ti maysa, ket mabatinto ti maysa.
35 Two women will be grinding grain, one will be taken; and the other left.”
Addanto ti dua a babbai nga agkadua nga aggilgiling. Maalanto ti maysa ket mabatinto ti maysa.”
Addanto dua iti taltalon, maalanto ti maysa ket mabatinto ti maysa.
37 “Where, Lord?” they asked. “Where the carcass is, that's where the vultures gather,” Jesus replied.
Dinamagda kenkuana, “Sadinno, Apo?” Ken kinunana kadakuada, “No sadinno ti ayan iti bagi, saddiayto met ti paguurnungan dagiti buitre.”
