Judges 17
1 A man named Micah from the hill country of Ephraim
১ইফ্ৰয়িম পৰ্ব্বতীয়া অঞ্চলত মীখা নামেৰে এজন মানুহ আছিল।
2 told his mother, “Those eleven hundred shekels of silver that were stolen from you and that I heard you curse—I've got the silver. I was the one who took it.” Then his mother said, “My son, the Lord bless you!”
২তেওঁ নিজৰ মাকক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ পৰা নিয়া যি এঘাৰ শ চেকল ৰূপৰ বাবে তুমি শাও দিছিলা আৰু তাক মই শুনাকৈ কৈছিলা চোৱা, সেই ৰূপ মোৰ হাতত আছে; ময়েই তাক নিছিলোঁ।” তেতিয়া তেওঁৰ মাকে ক’লে, “যিহোৱাৰ পৰা মোৰ পুত্ৰ আশীৰ্ব্বাদ-প্ৰাপ্ত হোৱা।”
3 He gave back to his mother the eleven hundred shekels of silver. His mother announced, “I'm completely dedicating this money to the Lord. I'm handing it over to my son to have an idol carved, an image made with molten silver. So now I return it to you.”
৩পাছত সেই এঘাৰ শ চেকল ৰূপ নিজ মাকক ওলোটাই দিয়াত, মাকে ক’লে, “এই ৰূপ মই যিহোৱাৰ উদ্দেশ্যে পবিত্ৰ কৰিছোঁ; এটা কটা প্ৰতিমা আৰু এটা সাঁচত ঢলা প্ৰতিমা সাজিবৰ অৰ্থে তাক মোৰ হাতৰ পৰা মোৰ পুত্ৰই পাওক; এতেকে এতিয়া তাক তোমাক ওভোটাই দিছোঁ।”
4 After he'd returned the silver to his mother she gave two hundred shekels to a silversmith who made it into a carved idol, an image made with molten silver. They were kept in Micah's house.
৪কিন্তু মীখাই মাকক সেই ৰূপ ওলোটাই দিলে, তাৰ মাকে তাৰে দুশ চেকল ৰূপ লৈ সোণাৰীক দিলে; তেতিয়া সোণাৰীয়ে এটা কটা মুৰ্ত্তি আৰু এটা সাঁচত ঢলা প্ৰতিমা সাজিলে, সেই মুৰ্ত্তি মীখাৰ ঘৰত ৰাখিলে।
5 Micah had built a shrine for the idol. He also made an ephod and some household gods, and ordained one of his sons as his priest.
৫মীখা বুলি কোৱা সেই মানুহজনৰ এটা দেৱালয় আছিল; সি এখন এফোদ আৰু কেইবাটাও গৃহ-দেৱতা সাজিলে আৰু নিজ পুতেকহঁতৰ এজনক নিযুক্ত কৰাৰ পাছত, তেওঁ তাৰ পুৰোহিত হ’ল।
6 At that time Israel didn't have a king— everyone did what they themselves thought was the right thing to do.
৬সেই সময়ত ইস্ৰায়েলৰ মাজত ৰজা নাছিল; সেয়ে যেয়ে যিহকে উচিত দেখিছিল, তেওঁ তাকেই কৰিছিল।
7 One young man, a Levite from the tribe of Judah had been living in Bethlehem in Judah,
৭সেই সময়ত যিহূদাৰ বৈৎলেহেমৰ যিহূদা ফৈদৰ এজন লেবীয়া ডেকা মানুহ গৈ সেই ঠাইত প্ৰবাস কৰিছিল।
8 left Bethlehem to look for a different place to live. As he traveled through the hill country of Ephraim, he came to Micah's house.
৮সেই মানুহে য’তে পাই ত’তে থাকিবৰ বাবে যিহূদাৰ বৈৎলেহেম নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই গৈ গৈ ইফ্ৰয়িম পৰ্ব্বতীয়া অঞ্চলত থকা সেই মীখাৰ ঘৰ পালেগৈ।
9 “Where are you from?” Micah asked him. “I'm a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah,” the man replied. “I'm looking for a place to live.”
৯তেতিয়া মীখাই তাক সুধিলে, “তুমি ক’ৰ পৰা আহিছা?” তেতিয়া তেওঁ ক’লে, “মই যিহূদাৰ বৈৎলেহেমৰ এজন লেবীয়া মানুহ; য’তে সুবিধা পাও, তাতে থাকিবৰ বাবে ওলাই আহিছোঁ।”
10 “Come and stay here with me. You can be my ‘father’ and priest, and I'll give you ten shekels of silver a year, plus your clothes and food.” So the Levite went inside
১০তেতিয়া মীখাই তেওঁক ক’লে, “তুমি মোৰ লগত থাকি মোৰ পিতৃ আৰু পুৰোহিত হোৱা; মই বছেৰেকত তোমাক দহ চেকল ৰূপ, এযোৰ কাপোৰ আৰু তোমাৰ খোৱা বস্তু দিম।” তেতিয়া সেই লেবীয়া মানুহজন তেওঁৰ ঘৰলৈ গ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ লগত থাকিবলৈ সন্মত হ’ল;
11 and agreed to stay with him. The young man became like a son to him.
১১তেতিয়াৰে পৰা সেই ডেকাজন তেওঁৰ পুতেকৰ দৰে হ’ল।
12 Micah ordained the Levite as his own priest and he lived in Micah's house.
১২পাছত মীখাই সেই লেবীয়াক নিযুক্ত কৰিলে আৰু সেই ডেকা মীখাৰ পুৰোহিত হৈ তেওঁৰ ঘৰতে থাকিল।
13 “I'm sure the Lord will bless me now, because I have a Levite as my priest,” Micah concluded.
১৩তাতে মীখাই ক’লে, “যিহোৱাই মোৰ মঙ্গল কৰিব, ইয়াক মই এতিয়া জানিলোঁ; কিয়নো সেই লেবীয়া মোৰ পুৰোহিত হ’ল।”
