Joshua 21
1 The leaders of the tribe of Levi approached Eleazar the priest, Joshua the son of Nun, and the leaders of the Israelite tribes.
১তেতিয়া লেবীয়াসকলৰ পিতৃবংশৰ মুখিয়াল লোকসকলে ইলিয়াজৰ পুৰোহিত, নুনৰ পুত্ৰ যিহোচূৱা আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ ফৈদৰ পিতৃ-বংশৰ পৰিয়াল সমূহৰ লোকসকলৰ ওচৰলৈ আহিল৷
2 They spoke to them at Shiloh in Canaan, saying, “The Lord gave instructions through Moses to give us towns to live in, and pastures for our flocks.”
২আৰু কনান দেশত থকা চীলোত তেওঁলোকক ক’লে, “আমি থাকিবৰ অৰ্থে নগৰ আৰু পশুবোৰ চৰাবৰ বাবে তাৰ চৰণীয়া ঠাই দিয়াৰ আজ্ঞা যিহোৱাই মোচিৰ দ্বাৰাই তোমালোকক দিছিল।”
3 So, following the Lord's instructions, the Israelites gave towns and pastures to the Levites from their own allocations.
৩তাতে যিহোৱাৰ আজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে নিজ নিজ উত্তৰাধিকাৰৰ পৰা লেবীয়াসকলক এই নগৰ আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠাই সমূহ দিলে।
4 The lot was cast for the families of the Kothaites. These Levites, descendants of Aaron, were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin.
৪চিঠি খেলাওঁতে কহাতীয়া বংশৰ নাম উঠিলত: লেবীয়াসকলৰ মাজৰ হাৰোণ পুৰোহিতৰ সন্তান সকলে চিঠিখেলৰ দ্বাৰাই যিহূদা ফৈদৰ, চিমিয়োন ফৈদৰ আৰু বিন্যামীন ফৈদৰ পৰা তেৰ খন নগৰ পালে।
5 The remaining families of the descendants of Kothah were allotted ten towns from the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
৫আৰু কহাতৰ অৱশিষ্ট বংশই চিঠি খেলৰ দ্বাৰাই ইফ্ৰয়িম ফৈদ সমূহৰ পৰা, আচেৰ ফৈদৰ আৰু নপ্তালী ফৈদৰ পৰা আৰু বাচানত থকা মনচিৰ আধা ফৈদৰ পৰা দহখন নগৰ পালে।
6 The families of the descendants of Gershon were allotted thirteen towns from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half-tribe of Manasseh living in Bashan.

7 The families of the descendants of Merari were allotted twelve towns from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.
৭আৰু বংশানুক্ৰমে মৰাৰীৰ সন্তান সকলে নিজ নিজ ফৈদ অনুসাৰে ৰূবেণ ফৈদৰ, গাদ ফৈদৰ আৰু জবূলূন ফৈদৰ পৰা বাৰখন নগৰ পালে।
8 So the Israelites gave the Levites by lot these towns and pastures, as the Lord had instructed through Moses.
৮এইদৰে মোচিৰ দ্বাৰাই যিহোৱাই দিয়া আজ্ঞা অনুসাৰে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে চিঠি খেলৰ দ্বাৰাই লেবীয়া লোকসকলক সেইবোৰ নগৰ আৰু লগত চৰণীয়া ঠাইবোৰ দিলে।
9 They gave from the tribe of Judah and the tribe of Simeon the following towns, specifically named,
৯পাছত তেওঁলোকে যিহূদাৰ সন্তান সকলৰ ফৈদৰ পৰা আৰু চিমিয়োনৰ সন্তান সকলৰ ফৈদৰ পৰা পোৱা নগৰবোৰৰ নামে সৈতে উল্লেখ কৰাৰ দৰে নগৰ দিলে৷
10 to the families of the Kothaites, descendants of Aaron, of the tribe of Levi, since the first lot fell to them:

11 Kiriath-arba (or Hebron), in the hill country of Judah, together with the pastures around it. (Arba was the forefather of Anak.)
১১ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে তেওঁলোকক যিহূদাৰ পৰ্ব্বতীয়া অঞ্চলত থকা চাৰিওফালৰ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে কিৰিয়ৎ-অর্ব্ব অৰ্থাৎ হিব্ৰোণ দিলে; সেই অৰ্ব্ব অনাকৰ পিতৃ আছিল।
12 But the more distant fields from the town and the villages had been given to Caleb son of Jephunneh to own.
১২কিন্তু সেই নগৰৰ পথাৰসমূহ আৰু তাৰ গাওঁবোৰ তেওঁলোকে আধিপত্যৰ অৰ্থে যিফুন্নিৰ পুত্ৰ কালেবক দিলে।
13 They gave to the descendants of Aaron the priest the following towns and their pastures: Hebron (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Libnah,

14 Jattir, Eshtemoa,

15 Holon, Debir,
১৫চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে হোলোন, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে দবীৰ,
16 Ain, Juttah, and Beth-shemesh—nine towns from these two tribes.
১৬চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে ঐন, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে যুত্তা আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে বৈৎচেমচ, সেই দুই ফৈদৰ পৰা এই ন খন নগৰ পালে।
17 From the tribe of Benjamin the following four towns and their pastures: Gibeon, Geba,
১৭আৰু বিন্যামীন ফৈদৰ পৰা চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে গিবিয়োন, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে গেবা,
18 Anathoth, and Almon.
১৮চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে অনাথোৎ আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে অলমোন এই চাৰিখন নগৰ দিলে।
19 So in total thirteen towns and their pastures were given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron.
১৯নিজ নিজ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে সৰ্ব্বমুঠ তেৰখন নগৰ হাৰোণৰ বংশৰ পুৰোহিতসকলে পালে।
20 As for the remaining families of the children of Kothah from the tribe of Levi, they were given by lot four towns and their pastures from the tribe of Ephraim:
২০আৰু কহাতৰ অৱশিষ্ট পৰিয়াল অৰ্থাৎ কহাতৰ পৰিয়াল সমূহ লেবীয়া, ইফ্ৰয়িম ফৈদৰ পৰা চিঠি খেলৰ দ্বাৰাই নিজ আধিপত্য নগৰ পালে।
21 Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Gezer,
২১ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে নৰ-বধী অৰ্থাৎ যিকোনো লোকে অনিচ্ছাকৃত ভাৱে বধ কৰা লোকসকলৰ আশ্ৰয় লোৱা নগৰ ইফ্ৰয়িম পৰ্ব্বতীয়া অঞ্চলত থকা চিখিম, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে গেজৰ আৰু ইয়াৰ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে
22 Kibzaim, and Beth-horon.
২২কিব্চয়িম আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে বৈৎ-হোৰোণ, এই চাৰিখন নগৰ দিলে।
23 From the tribe of Dan, the following four towns and their pastures: Eltekeh, Gibbethon,
২৩আৰু দান ফৈদৰ পৰা চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে ইল্টকি, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে গিব্বথোন,
24 Aijalon, and Gath-rimmon.
২৪চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে অয়ালোন, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে গৎ-ৰিম্মোণ, এই চাৰিখন নগৰ দিলে।
25 From the half-tribe of Manasseh the following two towns and their pastures: Taanach and Gath-rimmon.
২৫আৰু মনচিৰ আধা ফৈদৰ পৰা কহাতৰ বংশলৈ, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে তানক আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে গৎ-ৰিম্মোণ এই দুখন নগৰ তেওঁলোকক দিলে।
26 So in total ten towns and their pastures were given to remaining families of the descendants of Kothah.
২৬কহাতৰ অৱশিষ্ট বংশধৰসকলে নিজ নিজ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে সৰ্ব্বমুঠ দহখন নগৰ পালে।
27 The families of the descendants of Gershon from the tribe of Levi received the following two towns and their pastures from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), and Be-eshterah.
২৭অন্য লেবীয়াসকলৰ বংশধৰবোৰৰ মাজৰ গেৰ্চোনৰ সন্তান সকলক মনচিৰ আধা ফৈদৰ পৰা, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে নৰ-বধীৰ আশ্ৰয় নগৰ বাচানত থকা গোলন আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে বেষ্টৰা এই দুখন নগৰ দিলে।
28 From the tribe of Issachar the following four towns and their pastures: Kishion, Daberath,
২৮গেৰ্চোনৰ বংশধৰ সকললৈ ইচাখৰ ফৈদৰ পৰা চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে কিচিয়োন লগতে চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে দাবৰৎ,
29 Jarmuth, and En-gannim.
২৯চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে যমুৎ আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে অয়ীন-গন্নীম, এই চাৰিখন নগৰ দিলে।
30 From the tribe of Asher the following four towns and their pastures: Mishal, Abdon,
৩০আৰু আচেৰ ফৈদৰ পৰা চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে মিচাল, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে অব্দোন,
31 Helkath, and Rehob.
৩১চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে হিল্কৎ আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে ৰহোব, এই চাৰিখন নগৰ দিলে।
32 From the tribe of Naphtali the following three towns and their pastures: Kedesh in Galilee (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Hammoth-dor, and Kartan.
৩২আৰু নপ্তালী ফৈদৰ পৰা চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে নৰ-বধীৰ আশ্ৰয় লোৱা নগৰ গালীলত থকা কেদচ, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে হম্মোৎ-দোৰ আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে কতন, এই তিনিখন নগৰ দিলে।
33 So in total thirteen towns and their pastures were allotted to the families of Gershon.
৩৩নিজ নিজ বংশানুসাৰে গেৰ্চোনীয়াসকলে নিজ নিজ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে সৰ্ব্বমুঠ তেৰখন নগৰ পালে।
34 The families of the descendants of Merari, those remaining from the tribe of Levi, received the following four towns and their pastures from the tribe of Zebulun: Jokneam, Kartah,

36 From the tribe of Reuben the following four towns and their pastures: Bezer, Jahaz,

37 Kedemoth, and Mephaath.

38 From the tribe of Gad the following four towns and their pastures: Ramoth in Gilead (a sanctuary town for those who accidentally committed murder), Mahanaim,
৩৮আৰু গাদ ফৈদৰ পৰা চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে অনিচ্ছাকৃত ভাৱে নৰ-বধ কৰা লোকৰ আশ্ৰয় নগৰ গিলিয়দত থকা ৰমোৎ, চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে মহনয়িম তেওঁলোকক দিয়া হ’ল৷
39 Heshbon, and Jazer.
৩৯মৰাৰীৰ বংশবোৰলৈ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে হিচবোন আৰু চৰণীয়া ঠায়ৰে সৈতে যাজেৰ, মুঠতে এই চাৰিখন নগৰ দিলে।
40 So in total twelve towns were allotted to the families of Merari, those remaining from the tribe of Levi.
৪০লেবীয়াসকলৰ অৱশিষ্ট ফৈদ অৰ্থাৎ মৰাৰীৰ নিজ নিজ বংশ অনুসাৰে এইবোৰ নগৰ হ’ল; তেওঁলোকে চিঠি খেলৰ দ্বাৰাই বাৰ খন নগৰ পালে।
41 The Levites received a total of forty-eight towns and pastures within the land of the Israelites.
৪১ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ আধিপত্যৰ মাজত থকা লেবীয়াসকলৰ আটাই নগৰ চৰণীয়া ঠায়েৰে সৈতে সৰ্ব্বমুঠ আঠচল্লিশ খন নগৰ আছিল।
42 Each of these towns had pastures around them.
৪২সেইবোৰৰ প্ৰত্যেক নগৰৰ চাৰিওকাষে চৰণীয়া ঠাই আছিল৷ সকলো নগৰ সেই দৰেই আছিল।
43 And so the Lord gave to the Israelites all the land he had promised their ancestors. They took possession of it and settled there.
৪৩এইদৰে যিহোৱাই ইস্ৰায়েল লোকৰ পুৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ আগত যি দেশ দিম বুলি শপত খাইছিল, সেই দেশ তেওঁ তেওঁলোকক দিলে৷ তেওঁলোকে তাক অধিকাৰ কৰি তাৰ মাজত নিবাস কৰিলে।
44 The Lord gave them peace on every side as he had promised their ancestors. Not a single one of their enemies could stand against them, for the Lord had handed their enemies over to them to defeat.
৪৪তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকৰ পুৰ্বপুৰুষসকলৰ আগত শপত খোৱাৰ দৰে চাৰিওফালে তেওঁলোকক জিৰণী দিলে৷ তেওঁলোকৰ শত্ৰুসকলৰ মাজৰ কোনেও তেওঁলোকৰ আগত থিয় হ’ব নোৱাৰিলে৷ যিহোৱাই তেওঁলোকৰ সকলো শত্ৰুক তেওঁলোকৰ হাতত দিলে।
45 Not a single one of the good things the Lord promised Israel had failed; everything had come true.
৪৫যিহোৱাই ইস্ৰায়েল বংশলৈ যি যি মঙ্গলৰ বাক্য কৈছিল, তাৰ মাজৰ এটি বাক্যও নিষ্ফল নহ’ল৷ সকলো সিদ্ধ হ’ল।
