Isaiah 18

1 Tragedy is coming to the land of whirring wings that lies along the rivers of Ethiopia,

১হাঁয় হাঁয়, ইথপিয়া নদীৰ সিপাৰে থকা পখীৰ মৰ্মৰধ্বনি হোৱা দেশ,

2 They send messengers downriver in papyrus boats. Swift messengers, go and take a message to a tall and smooth-skinned people, to a people feared by everyone, to a very powerful nation of conquerors, whose land is washed away by rivers.

২ৰাজদূতসকলক নলখাগড়িৰ জাহাজত সমূদ্রৰ বাটেদি পঠোৱা জন, যি দেশৰ লোকসকল বলিষ্ট আৰু ধুনীয়া, যি সকল আদিৰ পৰা এতিয়ালৈকে ভয়ানক, যি সকলৰ দেশ নদীবোৰেৰে বিভক্ত, সেই দেশলৈ বেগী দূতবোৰ যোৱা।

3 All you people of the world, everyone who lives on earth—you will see when a banner is raised on the mountains, you will hear when a trumpet sounds.

৩হে পৃথিৱী নিবাসী, আৰু হে পৃথিৱীত থকা লোকসকল, যেতিয়া পৰ্ব্বতবোৰৰ ওপৰত নিচান তোলা হ’ব, তেতিয়া চাবা, আৰু যেতিয়া শিঙা বাজিব, তেতিয়া শুনিবা।

4 For this is what the Lord has told me: I will watch quietly from where I live, quiet as heat haze in sunlight, quiet as a mistcloud in the heat of harvest.

৪যিহোৱাই মোক কোৱা কথা এই, “নিৰ্মল আকাশৰ ৰ’দৰ দৰে, আৰু শস্য চপোৱা কালৰ গৰম নিয়ৰযুক্ত মেঘৰ দৰে, মই মোৰ গৃহৰ পৰা নিজমে নিৰীক্ষণ কৰিম।”

5 For before the harvest, after the flower is gone and becomes an unripe grape, he prunes the vine with a knife to take out the shoots and branches.

৫শষ্য চপোৱাৰ পূৰ্বে যি সময়ত ফুল সৰিল, আৰু ফুল পকা দ্রাক্ষাগুটিত পৰিণত হ’ল, এনে সময়ত তেওঁ কাঁইটবোৰ কটাৰীৰে কাটি পেলাব, আৰু সিঁচৰিত হৈ থকা ডালবোৰ কাটি দূৰ কৰিব।

6 They will all be left as carrion for the birds of prey of the mountains, and for the wild animals. The birds will eat them in summer, and all the wild animals in winter.

৬পৰ্বতৰ চৰাইবোৰৰ বাবে, আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ জন্তুবোৰৰ বাবে সেই সকলো পৰিত্যক্ত হ’ব; চৰাইবোৰে সেইবোৰৰ ওপৰত গ্রীষ্মকাল, আৰু পৃথিৱীৰ জন্তুবোৰে সেইবোৰৰ ওপৰত জাৰকাল তিবাহিত।

7 At that time a gift will be brought to the Lord Almighty from a tall and smooth-skinned people, from a people feared by everyone, from a very powerful nation of conquerors, whose land is washed away by rivers. It will be brought to Mount Zion, the place identified with the Lord Almighty.

৭সেই সময়ত দীৰ্ঘকায় আৰু নিমজ গাৰে লোকসকল আগৰে পৰা এতিয়ালৈকে ভয়ঙ্কৰ এক জাতি, নদীবোৰে দেশ বিভক্ত কৰা দুগুণ পৰাক্ৰমী আৰু মৰ্দ্দনকাৰী এটা দেশ উপহাৰস্বৰূপে বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ ওচৰলৈ, বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ নাম থকা ঠাই চিয়োন পৰ্ব্বতলৈ অনা হ’ব।
