Ephesians 6

1 Children, do what your parents tell you, for this is the right thing to do.

பிள்ளைகளே, நீங்கள் கர்த்தரைப் பின்பற்றுகிறவர்களாக, உங்கள் பெற்றோருக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள். இதுவே சரியானது.

2 “Honor your father and mother.” This is the first commandment that has a promise attached:

“உங்கள் தகப்பனையும், தாயையும் மதித்து நடவுங்கள்.” இதுவே வாக்குத்தத்தத்துடன் சேர்த்துக்கொடுக்கப்பட்ட முதலாவது கட்டளை.

3 “that things may go well for you and you may live a long life on the earth.”

“மதித்து நடந்தால், உங்களுக்கு நன்மை உண்டாகும். நீங்களும் இந்தப் பூமியில் நீடித்து வாழ்வீர்கள்” என எழுதப்பட்டிருக்கிறது.

4 Fathers, don't make your children mad, but look after them by disciplining them and instructing them about God.

தந்தையரே, உங்கள் பிள்ளைகளைக் கோபமூட்டாதீர்கள்; பிள்ளைகளைக் கர்த்தரின் பயிற்சியிலும், அறிவுறுத்தல்களிலும் வளர்த்திடுங்கள்.

5 Servants, obey those who are your human masters, with proper respect and awe, doing things from sincere motives as if you were serving Christ.

அடிமைகளே, இந்தப் பூமியில் உங்களுக்கு எஜமான்களாய் இருக்கிறவர்களுக்கு பயத்துடனும் மரியாதையுடனும் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள். நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதுபோல, அவர்களுக்கு உண்மையான மனதுடன் கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள்.

6 Don't just work well when you're being watched to gain approval, but work like servants of Christ, honestly doing God's will,

அவர்களுடைய நன்மதிப்பைப் பெறுவதற்காக அவர்கள் உங்களைக் கவனிக்கும்போது மட்டும் அப்படிக் கீழ்ப்படியாமல், உங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் இறைவனுடைய சித்தத்தைச் செய்யும் கிறிஸ்துவின் அடிமைகளைப்போல கீழ்ப்படியுங்கள்.

7 happily serving as if you were doing it for the Lord, and not for people.

நீங்கள் மனிதருக்கு பணிசெய்கிறவர்களைப் போலல்லாமல், கர்த்தருக்குப் பணிசெய்கிறவர்களாக, முழு இருதயத்துடனும் உங்கள் பணியைச் செய்யுங்கள்.

8 You know that whoever does what's good will be rewarded by the Lord, whether that person is a servant or someone who is free.

ஏனெனில் ஒருவன் அடிமையாயினும் சுதந்திரமுடையவனாயினும் அவனவன் செய்கின்ற நன்மைக்குப் பதிலாக, கர்த்தர் ஒவ்வொருவனுக்கும் அதற்குரிய பலனைக் கொடுப்பார் என்பது உங்களுக்குத் தெரியும்.

9 Masters, you should treat your servants the same way. Don't threaten them, remember that the Lord in heaven is both their master and yours, and he treats people the same, without favoritism.

எஜமான்களே, உங்கள் அடிமைகளை நீங்களும் அப்படியே நடத்துங்கள். அவர்களை பயமுறுத்தவேண்டாம். நீங்களும் உங்கள் அடிமைகளும் பரலோகத்திலுள்ள ஒரே எஜமானுக்கே உரியவர்கள் என்பதையும், அவர் பாரபட்சம் காட்டுகிறவர் அல்ல என்பதையும் நீங்கள் அறிந்திருக்கிறீர்கள்.

10 Lastly, stay strong in the Lord, and in his mighty power.

இறுதியாக, கர்த்தரிலும், அவருடைய பெரிதான வல்லமையில் பெலப்பட்டிருங்கள்.

11 Put on all the armor of God so you can withstand all the devil's attacks!

நீங்கள் பிசாசின் எல்லாவித தந்திரங்களை எதிர்த்து நிற்கக் கூடியவர்களாய் இருக்கும்படி, இறைவனின் முழுப் போர்க்கவசத்தையும் அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

12 We're not fighting against human forces, but against supernatural rulers and powers, the dark lords of this world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. (aiōn g165)

ஏனெனில், நமது போராட்டம் மனித எதிரிகளோடு அல்ல. அது தீமையான ஆட்சியாளர்களுக்கும், காணக்கூடாத உலகத்தின் அதிகாரங்களுக்கும், இந்த இருள் உலகில் ஆட்சிசெய்யும் வல்லமைகளுக்கும் எதிரானதுமாய் இருக்கிறது; அது வான மண்டலங்களிலுள்ள தீய ஆவிகளின் சேனைகளுக்கும் எதிரானதாயிருக்கிறது. (aiōn g165)

13 Take all the weapons God provides so that you may be able to stand your ground in the day of evil and after doing all you can, to find yourself still standing!

எனவே, தீமையின் நாள் வரும்போது, எதிரியின் தாக்குதலை எதிர்த்து நிற்கவும், எல்லாவற்றையும் செய்துமுடித்த பின்பு, வெற்றி பெற்று உறுதியுடன் நிலைநிற்கவும், இறைவனின் முழுப் போர்கவசத்தையும் அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள்.

14 So stand up, wrap the belt of truth around your waist, tie on the breastplate of justice and the right,

உங்கள் இடுப்பைச் சுற்றி, சத்தியம் என்னும் இடைக்கச்சையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டு. நீதி ஆகிய மார்கவசத்தை அணிந்துகொண்டு, உறுதியாய் நில்லுங்கள்.

15 and put on the shoes of readiness to share the good news of peace.

சமாதானத்தின் நற்செய்தியை அறிவிக்கும் ஆயத்தத்தை உங்கள் பாதரட்சைகளாகப் போட்டுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

16 Above all, take up the shield of trusting God, by which you'll be able to put out all the devil's flaming arrows.

இவை எல்லாவற்றிலும், விசுவாசம் என்னும் கேடயத்தை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள். அதைக்கொண்டே, தீமைசெய்பவன் எய்துவிடும் நெருப்பு அம்புகளை உங்களால் அணைத்துவிட முடியும்.

17 Wear the helmet of salvation, and carry the sword of the Spirit—the Spirit that's the word of God.

இரட்சிப்பைத் தலைக்கவசமாக அணிந்துகொள்ளுங்கள். இறைவனுடைய வார்த்தையாகிய பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வாளை எடுத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.

18 Always pray in the Spirit as you do all this. Stay awake and keep on praying for all God's people.

எல்லாச் சந்தர்ப்பங்களிலும் எல்லா விதமான வேண்டுதல்களையும் விண்ணப்பங்களையும் பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரின் வல்லமையோடு மன்றாடுங்கள். இதை மனதில்கொண்டு, விழிப்புணர்வுள்ளவர்களாய் இருங்கள். எல்லாப் பரிசுத்தவான்களுக்காகவும் எப்பொழுதும் மன்றாடுங்கள்.

19 Pray for me too so that I'll be given the right words to say, and that I'll be able to explain confidently the hidden truths of the good news.

எனக்காகவும் மன்றாடுங்கள், நான் செய்தி கொடுக்கும் போதெல்லாம் இறைவன் எனக்கு நற்செய்தியின் இரகசியத்தை பயமின்றி எடுத்துக்கூற வார்த்தைகளைக் கொடுக்கும்படி மன்றாடுங்கள்.

20 I'm an imprisoned ambassador for the sake of the good news, so please pray that I will speak fearlessly, as I should.

அந்த நற்செய்திக்காகவே நான் இப்பொழுது விலங்கிடப்பட்ட ஒரு தூதுவனாக இருக்கிறேன். நான் பேசவேண்டிய விதமாய் பயமின்றி அறிவிக்க மன்றாடுங்கள்.

21 Tychicus, our good friend and faithful minister, will give you all my news and explain everything so you'll know how I'm doing.

நமது அன்பு சகோதரனும், கர்த்தருடைய ஊழியத்தில் உண்மையுள்ள ஊழியக்காரனுமான தீகிக்கு என்னைப்பற்றிய எல்லாவற்றையும் உங்களுக்குத் தெரிவிப்பான். அப்பொழுது நான் எப்படியிருக்கிறேன் என்றும், என்ன செய்கிறேன் என்றும் நீங்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ளலாம்.

22 That's why I'm sending him to you—to tell you what's happened to us and to encourage you.

நாங்கள் எல்லோரும் எப்படியிருக்கிறோம் என்பதை அவன் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லி, உங்களை மனதளவில் உற்சாகப்படுத்தும் நோக்கத்திற்காகவேதான், நான் அவனை உங்களிடம் அனுப்புகிறேன்.

23 Peace to all the Christians there, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, with love and trust in him.

பிதாவாகிய இறைவனிடமும் கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவிடமும் இருந்து, எல்லாச் சகோதரருக்கும் சமாதானமும், விசுவாசத்துடன் இணைந்த அன்பும் இருப்பதாக.

24 Grace to all those who eternally love our Lord Jesus.

நம்முடைய கர்த்தராகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அழிந்துபோகாத அன்புடன் நேசிக்கும் அனைவருடனும் கிருபை இருப்பதாக.
