Deuteronomy 27

1 Moses and the Israelite elders of Israel gave these instructions to the people: Keep all the commandments I am giving you today.

മോശെ യിസ്രായേൽമൂപ്പന്മാരോടുകൂടെ ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ: ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന സകല കല്പനകളും പ്രമാണിപ്പിൻ.

2 The day you cross the Jordan into the country the Lord your God is giving you, set up some large stones and paint them with whitewash.

നിങ്ങൾ യോൎദ്ദാൻ കടന്നു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശത്തു എത്തുന്ന ദിവസം നീ വലിയ കല്ലുകൾ നാട്ടി അവെക്കു കുമ്മായം തേക്കേണം:

3 Then write all these laws on them once you've crossed over to enter the country that the Lord your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the Lord, the God of your forefathers, promised you.

നിന്റെ പിതാക്കന്മാരുടെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു വാഗ്ദത്തം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവ നിനക്കു തരുന്ന ദേശമായി പാലും തേനും ഒഴുകുന്ന ദേശത്തു ചെല്ലുവാൻ കടന്നശേഷം നീ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളെല്ലാം അവയിൽ എഴുതേണം.

4 After you've crossed the Jordan, you are to set up these stones on Mount Ebal, having painted them with whitewash, as I've ordered you to do today.

ആകയാൽ നിങ്ങൾ യോൎദ്ദാൻ കടന്നിട്ടു ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിങ്ങളോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന ഈ കല്ലുകൾ ഏബാൽപൎവ്വത്തിൽ നാട്ടുകയും അവെക്കു കുമ്മായം തേക്കുകയും വേണം.

5 Also build a stone altar there to the Lord your God, an altar of stones. Don't use any stone tools in its construction.

അവിടെ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു ഒരു യാഗപീഠം പണിയേണം; അതിന്മേൽ ഇരിമ്പു തൊടുവിക്കരുതു.

6 Build the altar of the Lord your God with uncut stones and sacrifice burnt offerings on it to the Lord your God.

ചെത്താത്ത കല്ലുകൊണ്ടു നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ യാഗപീഠം പണിയേണം; അതിന്മേൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവെക്കു ഹോമയാഗങ്ങൾ അൎപ്പിക്കേണം.

7 That is also where you are to sacrifice and eat your peace offerings, celebrating in the presence of the Lord your God.

സമാധാനയാഗങ്ങളും അൎപ്പിച്ചു അവിടെവെച്ചു തിന്നുകയും നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ സന്നിധിയിൽ സന്തോഷിക്കയും വേണം;

8 Write all these laws clearly on the stones.

ആ കല്ലുകളിൽ ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിന്റെ വചനങ്ങളൊക്കെയും നല്ല തെളിവായി എഴുതേണം.

9 Moses and the Levitical priests gave these orders to all the Israelites: “Be quiet, people of Israel, and listen! Today you have become the people of the Lord your God.

മോശെയും ലേവ്യരായ പുരോഹിതന്മാരും എല്ലായിസ്രായേലിനോടും: യിസ്രായേലേ, മിണ്ടാതിരുന്നു കേൾക്ക; ഇന്നു നീ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ ജനമായി തീൎന്നിരിക്കുന്നു.

10 So obey what the Lord your God tells you, and follow commandments and regulations that I'm giving you today.”

ആകയാൽ നിന്റെ ദൈവമായ യഹോവയുടെ വാക്കു അനുസരിച്ചു, ഞാൻ ഇന്നു നിന്നോടു ആജ്ഞാപിക്കുന്ന അവന്റെ കല്പനകളും ചട്ടങ്ങളും ആചരിക്കേണം എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.

11 That day Moses gave these orders to the people:

അന്നു മോശെ ജനത്തോടു കല്പിച്ചതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

12 After you've crossed the Jordan, the following tribes are to stand on Mount Gerizim to bless the people: Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Joseph, and Benjamin.

നിങ്ങൾ യോൎദ്ദാൻ കടന്ന ശേഷം ജനത്തെ അനുഗ്രഹിപ്പാൻ ഗെരിസീംപൎവ്വതത്തിൽ നില്ക്കേണ്ടുന്നവർ: ശിമെയോൻ, ലേവി, യെഹൂദാ, യിസ്സാഖാർ, യോസേഫ്, ബേന്യാമീൻ.

13 The following tribes are to stand on Mount Ebal for the curse: Reuben, Gad, Asher, Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

ശപിപ്പാൻ ഏബാൽപൎവ്വതത്തിൽ നിൽക്കേണ്ടന്നവരോ: രൂബേൻ, ഗാദ്, ആശേർ, സെബൂലൂൻ, ദാൻ, നഫ്താലി.

14 Then the Levites will shout in a loud voice so Israelite can hear:

അപ്പോൾ ലേവ്യർ എല്ലായിസ്രായേല്യരോടും ഉറക്കെ വിളിച്ചുപറയേണ്ടതു എന്തെന്നാൽ:

15 “A curse on anyone who makes a carved image or a metal idol and worships it in secret. It's only an object that someone made, and it's offensive to the Lord!” Everyone says “Amen!”

ശില്പിയുടെ കൈപ്പണിയായി യഹോവെക്കു അറെപ്പായ വല്ല വിഗ്രഹത്തെയും കൊത്തിയോ വാൎത്തോ ഉണ്ടാക്കി രഹസ്യത്തിൽ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറയേണം.

16 “A curse on anyone who dishonors their father or mother.” Everyone says “Amen!”

അപ്പനെയോ അമ്മയെയോ നിന്ദിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

17 “A curse on anyone who moves their neighbor's boundary stone!” Everyone says “Amen!”

കൂട്ടുകാരന്റെ അതിർ നീക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

18 “A curse on anyone who allows a blind man to wander in the road!” Everyone says “Amen!”

കുരുടനെ വഴി തെറ്റിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

19 “A curse on anyone who doesn't treat foreigners, the orphans, and widows fairly!” Everyone says “Amen!”

പരദേശിയുടെയും അനാഥന്റെയും വിധവയുടെയും ന്യായം മറിച്ചുകളയുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

20 “A curse on any man who sleeps with his father's wife, for he has disgraced his father!” Everyone says “Amen!”

അപ്പന്റെ ഭാൎയ്യയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ അപ്പന്റെ വസ്ത്രം നീക്കിയതുകൊണ്ടു ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

21 “A curse on anyone who has sex with any animal!” Everyone says “Amen!”

വല്ല മൃഗത്തോടുംകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

22 “A curse on any man who sleeps with his sister, the daughter of his father or the daughter of his mother!” Everyone says “Amen!”

അപ്പന്റെ മകളോ അമ്മയുടെ മകളോ ആയ സഹോദരിയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

23 “A curse on any man who sleeps with his mother-in-law!” Everyone says “Amen!”

അമ്മാവിയമ്മയോടുകൂടെ ശയിക്കുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

24 “A curse on anyone who secretly attacks his neighbor!” Everyone says “Amen!”

കൂട്ടുകാരനെ രഹസ്യമായി കൊല്ലുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

25 “A curse on anyone who accepts a bribe to kill someone who's innocent!” Everyone says “Amen!”

കുറ്റമില്ലാത്തവനെ കൊല്ലേണ്ടതിന്നു പ്രതിഫലം വാങ്ങുന്നവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.

26 “A curse on anyone who doesn't carefully obey all these laws by keeping them!” Everyone says “Amen!”

ഈ ന്യായപ്രമാണത്തിലെ വചനങ്ങൾ പ്രമാണമാക്കി അനുസരിച്ചു നടക്കാത്തവൻ ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടവൻ. ജനമെല്ലാം: ആമേൻ എന്നു പറയേണം.
