2 Samuel 6

1 Once again David called up all specially chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand in total.

১দায়ূদে পুনৰাই ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আটাই মনোনীত লোকক লৈ ত্ৰিশ হাজাৰজন লোকক গোটালে।

2 He went with all his men to Baalah in Judah to bring back the Ark of God, which belongs to the Lord Almighty who sits between the cherubim that are on the Ark.

২তাৰ পাছত দায়ুদ আৰু তেওঁৰ লগত থকা আটাই লোক উঠি যিহূদাত থকা বালিৰ পৰা, ঈশ্বৰৰ নাম অৰ্থাৎ কৰূব দুটা মাজত বহা বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে প্ৰখ্যাত সেই ঈশ্বৰৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুক আনিবলৈ যাত্ৰা কৰিলে।

3 They placed the Ark of God on a new cart and brought it from Abinadab's house, which was on a hill. Uzzah and Ahio, Abinadab's sons, were directing the cart

৩পাছত তেওঁলোকে ঈশ্বৰৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুক এখন নতুন ৰথত তুলি ল’লে৷ তেওঁলোকে এই নিয়ম-চন্দুক পৰ্ব্বতত থকা অবীনাদবৰ ঘৰৰ পৰা উলিয়াই আনিলে৷ অবীনাদবৰ পুত্ৰ উজ্জা আৰু অহিয়োৱে সেই নতুন ৰথ চলাই আনিলে।

4 with the Ark of God on it, with Ahio walking in front of it.

৪তেওঁলোকে পৰ্ব্বতত থকা অবীনাদবৰ ঘৰৰ পৰা ঈশ্বৰৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকে সৈতে ৰথখন উলিয়াই আনিলে৷ অহিয়ো নিয়ম-চন্দুকৰ আগে আগে গ’ল।

5 David and all the Israelites were celebrating in the Lord's presence, singing songs accompanied by zithers, harps, tambourines, rattles, and cymbals.

৫তেতিয়া দায়ুদ আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ আটাই বংশই দেবদাৰু কাঠেৰে সজা নানা ধৰণৰ বাদ্যযন্ত্ৰ নেবল, খঞ্জৰী, খুটিতাল আৰু ভোটতাল আদি বজাই যিহোৱাৰ আগত গুণানুকীর্তন কৰিলে৷

6 But when they came to the threshing floor of Nachon, the oxen stumbled, so Uzzah reached out to stop the Ark of God from falling.

৬যেতিয়া তেওঁলোকে নাখুনৰ মৰণা মৰা ঠাই পালে তাতে গৰুহাল পিছল খোৱাত, উজ্জাই হাত মেলি যিহোৱাৰ সেই নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি ধৰিলে৷

7 The Lord was angry with Uzzah, and God struck him down right there for his disobedience, and he died beside the Ark of God.

৭তেতিয়া উজ্জাৰ প্ৰতি যিহোৱাৰ ক্ৰোধ প্ৰজ্বলিত হ’ল৷ তেওঁৰ ভ্ৰান্তিৰ কাৰণে ঈশ্বৰে সেই ঠাইতে তেওঁক আঘাত কৰিলে৷ তাতে উজ্জাৰ সেই ঠাইত ঈশ্বৰৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটিৰ কাষতে মৃত্যু হ’ল।

8 David was angry because of the Lord's violent outburst against Uzzah. He called the place Perez-uzzah, which is still its name today.

৮যিহোৱাই উজ্জাক আঘাত কৰাৰ কাৰণে দায়ূদে মনত বেজাৰ পালে আৰু তেওঁ সেই ঠাইৰ নাম পেৰচ-উজ্জা ৰাখিলে৷ আজিলৈকে সেই ঠাইৰ নাম পেৰচ-উজ্জা’ই আছে।

9 David became afraid of the Lord that day. “How can I ever bring back the Ark of God home to me?” he asked.

৯সেই দিনা দায়ূদৰ যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰতি ভয় লাগিল৷ তেওঁ ক’লে “যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুক মোৰ ওচৰলৈ কেনেকৈ আহিব?”

10 Not wanting to bring the Ark of the Lord to be with him in the City of David, he had it taken to the home of Obed-edom the Gittite.

১০এই হেতুকে দায়ূদে তেওঁৰ লগত যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি দায়ূদৰ নগৰলৈ আনিবলৈ ইচ্ছা নকৰিলে৷ তাৰ সলনি তেওঁ সেই নিয়ম চন্দুকটি গাতীয়া ওবেদ-ইদোমৰ ঘৰত থলেগৈ।

11 The Ark of the Lord remained in Obed-edom's home for three months, and the Lord blessed Obed-edom's whole household.

১১যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি গাতীয়া ওবেদ-ইদোমৰ ঘৰত তিনি মাহ থাকিল৷ তাতে যিহোৱাই ওবেদ-ইদোমক আৰু তেওঁৰ গোটেই ঘৰখনক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে।

12 King David was told, “The Lord has blessed Obed-edom's household and all that he has because of the Ark of God.” So David went and had the Ark of God brought from Obed-edom's house to the City of David. There was a lot of celebration!

১২তাৰ পাছত “যিহোৱাই ঈশ্বৰৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকৰ বাবে ওবেদ-ইদোমৰ ঘৰ আৰু তেওঁৰ যি যি আছে, সেই সকলোকে আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে” এই বুলি দায়ূদৰ আগত কোৱা হ’ল। তেতিয়া দায়ূদে গৈ ওবেদ ইদোমৰ ঘৰৰ পৰা আনন্দেৰে ঈশ্বৰৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি দায়ূদৰ নগৰলৈ লৈ আনিলে।

13 After those carrying the Ark of the Lord had taken six steps, he sacrificed a bull and a fattened calf.

১৩যেতিয়া যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি কঢ়িয়াই অনা লোকসকলে ছখোজ আগবাঢ়ি গ’ল, তেওঁ এটা বলদগৰু আৰু এটা হৃষ্টপুষ্ট গৰু পোৱালি বলিদান কৰিলে।

14 Wearing a priest's ephod, David danced as hard as he could before the Lord

১৪আৰু দায়ূদে শণ সূতাৰ এখন এফোদ পিন্ধি যিহোৱাৰ আগত পাৰে মানে নাচিলে৷

15 as he and all the Israelites brought along the Ark of the Lord, with plenty of shouting and the sound of horns being blown.

১৫এইদৰে দায়ুদ আৰু ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সকলো বংশই জয়ধ্বনি কৰি কৰি আৰু শিঙাৰ বাদ্য বজাই বজাই যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি লৈ আনিলে।

16 As the Ark of the Lord was carried into the City of David, Saul's daughter Michal looked down from a window. She watched King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, and she really loathed him.

১৬তেতিয়া যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি দায়ূদৰ নগৰত সোমাওঁতে, চৌলৰ জীয়েক মীখলে খিড়িকি দুৱাৰেদি চাই আছিল৷ যিহোৱাৰ আগত দায়ুদ ৰজাক ডেও দি নাচি থকা দেখি, মনতে তেওঁক তুচ্ছ জ্ঞান কৰিলে।

17 They brought the Ark of the Lord and put it on its place inside the tent that David had set up for it. Then David offered burnt offerings and friendship offerings before the Lord.

১৭পাছত তেওঁলোকে যিহোৱাৰ নিয়ম-চন্দুকটি ভিতৰলৈ আনি, দায়ূদে তাৰ ঠাই স্থাপন কৰি ৰখা তম্বুৰ মজিয়াৰ মাজত ৰাখিলে৷ আৰু দায়ূদে যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতে হোম-বলি আৰু মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলি উৎসৰ্গ কৰিলে।

18 Once he had finished offering the sacrifices, David blessed the people in the name of the Lord Almighty.

১৮পাছে হোমবলি আৰু মঙ্গলাৰ্থক বলি উৎসৰ্গ শেষ হোৱাৰ পাছত দায়ূদে বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাৰ নামেৰে লোকসকলক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিলে।

19 He gave all the Israelites, both men and women, a loaf of bread, a date cake, and a raisin cake. Then he sent everyone home.

১৯আৰু সকলো লোকৰ মাজত অৰ্থাৎ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ গোটেই লোক সকলৰ মাজত থকা প্ৰত্যেক পুৰুষ আৰু স্ত্ৰীক এটা পিঠা, এটুকুৰা মঙহ আৰু এলদা এলদা শুকান দ্ৰাক্ষাগুটি বিলাই দিলে। পাছত সকলো লোক নিজ নিজ ঘৰলৈ গুচি গ’ল।

20 When David got home to bless his family, Michal, Saul's daughter came out to meet him and said, “How distinguished the king of Israel made himself look today, taking off his robes so everyone's servant girls could see, just as somebody crude would expose himself!”

২০তেতিয়া দায়ূদে নিজৰ পৰিয়ালক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিবৰ বাবে উভটি আহিল৷ চৌলৰ জীয়েক মীখলে, দায়ূদক আগবঢ়াবলৈ ওলাই গৈ ক’লে, “আজি ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ৰজা কেনে গৌৰৱান্বিত হ’ল! যেনেকৈ কোনো অমার্জিত চিত্তৰ লোক নিলাজৰ দৰে বিবস্ত্ৰ হয়, তেনেকৈ তেওঁ আজি নিজ দাসবোৰৰ মাজৰ বেটীসকলৰ আগত বিবস্ত্ৰ হ’ল!”

21 David told Michal, “I was dancing before the Lord, who chose me instead of your father and all his family when he named me ruler over the Lord's people Israel. I will continue to celebrate before the Lord,

২১তেতিয়া দায়ূদে সমিধান দি মীখলক ক’লে, “তোমাৰ পিতৃ আৰু তেওঁৰ সকলো বংশৰ ওপৰত যিহোৱাৰ প্ৰজা ইস্ৰায়েল লোকৰ অধ্যক্ষপদত মোক যিজন সৰ্ব্বশক্তিমান ঈশ্বৰে মনোনীত কৰিলে, সেই যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতেই মই তাকেই কৰিলোঁ। এই হেতুকে মই সেই যিহোৱাৰ সাক্ষাতেই আমোদ কৰিম৷

22 in fact I'm going to make myself even less distinguished, become even more humble. However, I will be respected by those servant girls you spoke about.”

২২মই ইয়াতকৈয়ো আৰু ‘লঘু’ হ’ম আৰু মোৰ নিজ দৃষ্টিত আৰু হীন হ’ম, কিন্তু তুমি যি বেটীসকলৰ কথা কলা, সিহঁতৰ আগতেই নিলাজৰ দৰে অমার্জিত চিত্তৰ লোক হৈ আদৰ পোৱা হ’ম।”

23 And Michal, Saul's daughter, never had any children.

২৩এতেকে চৌলৰ জীয়েক মীখলৰ মৰণ কাললৈকে কোনো সন্তান নহ’ল।
