2 Corinthians 8
1 Brothers and sisters, we want to let you know about the grace of God shown to the Macedonian churches.
હે ભ્રાતરઃ, માકિદનિયાદેશસ્થાસુ સમિતિષુ પ્રકાશિતો ય ઈશ્વરસ્યાનુગ્રહસ્તમહં યુષ્માન્ જ્ઞાપયામિ|
2 Even though they have suffered terrible trouble, they are overflowing with happiness; and even though they are very poor, they are also overflowing in their generosity.
વસ્તુતો બહુક્લેશપરીક્ષાસમયે તેષાં મહાનન્દોઽતીવદીનતા ચ વદાન્યતાયાઃ પ્રચુરફલમ્ અફલયતાં|
3 I can confirm that they gave what they could, in fact even more than that! By their own choice
તે સ્વેચ્છયા યથાશક્તિ કિઞ્ચાતિશક્તિ દાન ઉદ્યુક્તા અભવન્ ઇતિ મયા પ્રમાણીક્રિયતે|
4 they kept on pleading with us to have a part in this privilege of sharing in this ministry to God's people.
વયઞ્ચ યત્ પવિત્રલોકેભ્યસ્તેષાં દાનમ્ ઉપકારાર્થકમ્ અંશનઞ્ચ ગૃહ્લામસ્તદ્ બહુનુનયેનાસ્માન્ પ્રાર્થિતવન્તઃ|
5 They didn't just do what we hoped they would do, but they gave themselves to the Lord, and then to us, as God wanted them to do.
વયં યાદૃક્ પ્રત્યૈ઼ક્ષામહિ તાદૃગ્ અકૃત્વા તેઽગ્રે પ્રભવે તતઃ પરમ્ ઈશ્વરસ્યેચ્છયાસ્મભ્યમપિ સ્વાન્ ન્યવેદયન્|
6 So we have encouraged Titus—since it was he who started this work with you—to return and complete this gracious ministry of yours.
અતો હેતોસ્ત્વં યથારબ્ધવાન્ તથૈવ કરિન્થિનાં મધ્યેઽપિ તદ્ દાનગ્રહણં સાધયેતિ યુષ્માન્ અધિ વયં તીતં પ્રાર્થયામહિ|
7 Since you have an abundance of everything—your trust in God, your eloquence, your spiritual knowledge, your complete dedication, and in your love for us—make sure that your abundance also extends to this gracious ministry of giving.
અતો વિશ્વાસો વાક્પટુતા જ્ઞાનં સર્વ્વોત્સાહો ઽસ્માસુ પ્રેમ ચૈતૈ ર્ગુણૈ ર્યૂયં યથાપરાન્ અતિશેધ્વે તથૈવૈતેન ગુણેનાપ્યતિશેધ્વં|
8 I'm not ordering you to do this, but to prove how sincere your love is in comparison with the dedication of others.
એતદ્ અહમ્ આજ્ઞયા કથયામીતિ નહિ કિન્ત્વન્યેષામ્ ઉત્સાહકારણાદ્ યુષ્માકમપિ પ્રેમ્નઃ સારલ્યં પરીક્ષિતુમિચ્છતા મયૈતત્ કથ્યતે|
9 For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Even though he was rich, he became poor for you, so that through his poverty you could become rich.
યૂયઞ્ચાસ્મત્પ્રભો ર્યીશુખ્રીષ્ટસ્યાનુગ્રહં જાનીથ યતસ્તસ્ય નિર્ધનત્વેન યૂયં યદ્ ધનિનો ભવથ તદર્થં સ ધની સન્નપિ યુષ્મત્કૃતે નિર્ધનોઽભવત્|
10 This is my advice: it would be good if you finished what you started. Last year you were not only the first to give but the first to want to do so.
એતસ્મિન્ અહં યુષ્માન્ સ્વવિચારં જ્ઞાપયામિ| ગતં સંવત્સરમ્ આરભ્ય યૂયં કેવલં કર્મ્મ કર્ત્તં તન્નહિ કિન્ત્વિચ્છુકતાં પ્રકાશયિતુમપ્યુપાક્રાભ્યધ્વં તતો હેતો ર્યુષ્મત્કૃતે મમ મન્ત્રણા ભદ્રા|
11 Now finish what you planned to do. Be as keen to finish as you were to plan, and give as you are able.
અતો ઽધુના તત્કર્મ્મસાધનં યુષ્માભિઃ ક્રિયતાં તેન યદ્વદ્ ઇચ્છુકતાયામ્ ઉત્સાહસ્તદ્વદ્ એકૈકસ્ય સમ્પદનુસારેણ કર્મ્મસાધનમ્ અપિ જનિષ્યતે|
12 If the willingness is there, it's fine to give what you have, not what you don't have!
યસ્મિન્ ઇચ્છુકતા વિદ્યતે તેન યન્ન ધાર્ય્યતે તસ્માત્ સોઽનુગૃહ્યત ઇતિ નહિ કિન્તુ યદ્ ધાર્ય્યતે તસ્માદેવ|
13 This is not to make things easier for others and harder for you, but simply to be fair.
યત ઇતરેષાં વિરામેણ યુષ્માકઞ્ચ ક્લેશેન ભવિતવ્યં તન્નહિ કિન્તુ સમતયૈવ|
14 At the moment you have more than enough and can meet their needs, and in turn when they have more than enough they can meet your needs. In that way everyone is treated fairly.
વર્ત્તમાનસમયે યુષ્માકં ધનાધિક્યેન તેષાં ધનન્યૂનતા પૂરયિતવ્યા તસ્માત્ તેષામપ્યાધિક્યેન યુષ્માકં ન્યૂનતા પૂરયિષ્યતે તેન સમતા જનિષ્યતે|
15 As Scripture says, “The one who had much didn't have any excess, and the one who didn't have much didn't have too little.”
તદેવ શાસ્ત્રેઽપિ લિખિતમ્ આસ્તે યથા, યેનાધિકં સંગૃહીતં તસ્યાધિકં નાભવત્ યેન ચાલ્પં સંગૃહીતં તસ્યાલ્પં નાભવત્|
16 Thanks be to God that he gave to Titus the same devotion for you that I have.
યુષ્માકં હિતાય તીતસ્ય મનસિ ય ઈશ્વર ઇમમ્ ઉદ્યોગં જનિતવાન્ સ ધન્યો ભવતુ|
17 Though he agreed to do what we told him, he's coming to see you because he really wants to, and had already decided to do so.
તીતોઽસ્માકં પ્રાર્થનાં ગૃહીતવાન્ કિઞ્ચ સ્વયમ્ ઉદ્યુક્તઃ સન્ સ્વેચ્છયા યુષ્મત્સમીપં ગતવાન્|
18 We're also sending with him a brother who is praised by all the churches for his work in spreading the good news.
તેન સહ યોઽપર એકો ભ્રાતાસ્માભિઃ પ્રેષિતઃ સુસંવાદાત્ તસ્ય સુખ્યાત્યા સર્વ્વાઃ સમિતયો વ્યાપ્તાઃ|
19 He was also appointed by the churches to go with us as we deliver this gracious offering we're carrying. We do this to honor the Lord and to show our eagerness to help others.
પ્રભો ર્ગૌરવાય યુષ્માકમ્ ઇચ્છુકતાયૈ ચ સ સમિતિભિરેતસ્યૈ દાનસેવાયૈ અસ્માકં સઙ્ગિત્વે ન્યયોજ્યત|
20 We want to guard against anyone criticizing us about how we use this gift.
યતો યા મહોપાયનસેવાસ્માભિ ર્વિધીયતે તામધિ વયં યત્ કેનાપિ ન નિન્દ્યામહે તદર્થં યતામહે|
21 We're concerned to do things the right way, not only in the eyes of the Lord, but also in the eyes of everyone.
યતઃ કેવલં પ્રભોઃ સાક્ષાત્ તન્નહિ કિન્તુ માનવાનામપિ સાક્ષાત્ સદાચારં કર્ત્તુમ્ આલોચામહે|
22 We're also sending with them another brother who has proved to be reliable on many occasions, and who is eager to help. He is now even more eager to help because of the great confidence he has in you.
તાભ્યાં સહાપર એકો યો ભ્રાતાસ્માભિઃ પ્રેષિતઃ સોઽસ્માભિ ર્બહુવિષયેષુ બહવારાન્ પરીક્ષિત ઉદ્યોગીવ પ્રકાશિતશ્ચ કિન્ત્વધુના યુષ્માસુ દૃઢવિશ્વાસાત્ તસ્યોત્સાહો બહુ વવૃધે|
23 If anyone asks about Titus, he is my companion. He works with me on your behalf. The other brothers are representatives from the churches and an honor to Christ.
યદિ કશ્ચિત્ તીતસ્ય તત્ત્વં જિજ્ઞાસતે તર્હિ સ મમ સહભાગી યુષ્મન્મધ્યે સહકારી ચ, અપરયો ર્ભ્રાત્રોસ્તત્ત્વં વા યદિ જિજ્ઞાસતે તર્હિ તૌ સમિતીનાં દૂતૌ ખ્રીષ્ટસ્ય પ્રતિબિમ્બૌ ચેતિ તેન જ્ઞાયતાં|
24 So please welcome them before all the churches and show them your love, proving how rightly proud we are of you.
અતો હેતોઃ સમિતીનાં સમક્ષં યુષ્મત્પ્રેમ્નોઽસ્માકં શ્લાઘાયાશ્ચ પ્રામાણ્યં તાન્ પ્રતિ યુષ્માભિઃ પ્રકાશયિતવ્યં|
