1 Kings 6
1 Four hundred and eighty years after the Israelites left Egypt, in the fourth year of King Solomon's reign, in the month of Ziv, Solomon began building the Temple of the Lord.
Im vierhundertundachtzigsten Jahr nach dem Ausgang der Kinder Israel aus Ägyptenland, im vierten Jahr des Königreichs Salomo über Israel, im Monden Sif, das ist der andere Mond, ward das Haus dem HERRN gebauet.
2 The Temple King Solomon built for the Lord measured sixty cubits long by twenty cubits wide by thirty cubits high.
Das Haus aber, das der König Salomo dem HERRN bauete, war sechzig Ellen lang und zwanzig Ellen breit und dreißig Ellen hoch.
3 The entrance room at the front of the Temple was twenty cubits wide. It ran the whole width of the Temple and projected out ten cubits in front of the Temple.
Und bauete eine Halle vor dem Tempel, zwanzig Ellen lang, nach der Breite des Hauses, und zehn Ellen breit vor dem Hause her.
4 He had latticed windows made to be placed high up in the Temple.
Und er machte an das Haus Fenster, inwendig weit, auswendig enge.
5 He also had a structure built against the outer wall of the Temple, both the outer and the inner sanctuary, to provide a series of side rooms.
Und er bauete einen Umgang an der Wand des Hauses rings umher, daß er beide um den Tempel und Chor herging; und machte seine äußere Wand umher.
6 The ground floor measured five cubits wide, the first floor six cubits, and the second floor seven cubits. In addition he had offset ledges placed all the way around the outside, so that beams would not have to be inserted into the Temple walls.
Der unterste Gang war fünf Ellen weit und der mittelste sechs Ellen weit und der dritte sieben Ellen weit; denn er legte Tramen außen am Hause umher, daß sie nicht an der Wand des Hauses sich hielten.
7 When the Temple was built the stones were finished at the quarry so that no noise from any hammer, ax, or any iron tool was heard in the Temple during construction.
Und da das Haus gesetzt ward, waren die Steine zuvor ganz zugerichtet, daß man keinen Hammer noch Beil, noch irgend ein Eisenzeug im Bauen hörete.
8 The entrance to the ground floor was on the south side of the Temple. Stairs led to the first floor, and then on to the second floor.
Eine Tür aber war zur rechten Seite mitten am Hause, daß man durch Wendelsteine hinaufging auf den Mittelgang und vom Mittelgang auf den dritten.
9 So Solomon finished building the Temple, covering it with a roof made of cedar rafters and planks.
Also bauete er das Haus und vollendete es; und spündete das Haus mit Zedern, beide oben und an Wänden.
10 He built the external structure along the whole of the Temple. It was five cubits high, joined to the Temple with cedar joists.
Er bauete auch einen Gang oben auf dem ganzen Hause herum, fünf Ellen hoch, und deckte das Haus mit Zedernholz.
11 The Lord sent this message to Solomon, telling him,
Und es geschah des HERRN Wort zu Salomo und sprach:
12 “About this Temple you are building: if you follow what I have said, fulfilling my requirements and keeping my commandments in what you do, I will keep the promise I made to your father David through you.
Das sei das Haus, das du bauest. Wirst du in meinen Geboten wandeln und nach meinen Rechten tun und alle meine Gebote halten, drinnen zu wandeln, will ich mein Wort mit dir bestätigen, wie ich deinem Vater David geredet habe.
13 I will live among the Israelites and will not abandon Israel, my people.”
Und will wohnen unter den Kindern Israel und will mein Volk Israel nicht verlassen.
14 Solomon finished building the Temple.
Also bauete Salomo das Haus und vollendete es.
15 He lined the walls with cedar panels from floor to ceiling and he covered the floor of the Temple with cypress boards.
Und bauete die Wände des Hauses inwendig an den Seiten von Zedern, von des Hauses Boden an bis an die Decke; und spündete es mit Holz inwendig und täfelte den Boden des Hauses mit tannenen Brettern.
16 He sectioned off twenty cubits at the rear of the Temple with boards of cedar from floor to ceiling, making an inner sanctuary as the Most Holy Place.
Und er bauete hinten im Hause zwanzig Ellen lang eine zederne Wand vom Boden an bis an die Decke; und bauete daselbst inwendig den Chor und das Allerheiligste.
17 The main Temple in front of this room measured forty cubits long.
Aber das Haus des Tempels (vor dem Chor) war vierzig Ellen lang.
18 The cedar panels inside the Temple were decorated with carvings of gourds and open flowers. Everything was lined with cedar—none of the stone was visible.
Inwendig war das ganze Haus eitel Zedern, mit gedrehten Knoten und Blumenwerk, das man keinen Stein sah.
19 He also had the inner sanctuary made within the Temple where the Ark of the Lord's Agreement would be placed.
Aber den Chor bereitete er inwendig im Hause, daß man die Lade des Bundes des HERRN daselbst hin täte.
20 The inner sanctuary measured twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide, and twenty cubits high. He had the interior covered with a coating with pure gold, as well as the altar of cedar.
Und vor dem Chor, der zwanzig Ellen lang, zwanzig Ellen weit und zwanzig Ellen hoch war und überzogen mit lauterm Golde, spündete er den Altar mit Zedern.
21 Solomon had the whole of the inside of the Temple covered with pure gold, He had gold chains stretched across the front of the inner sanctuary, which was also covered with gold.
Und Salomo überzog das Haus inwendig mit lauterm Golde und zog güldene Riegel vor dem Chor her, den er mit Golde überzogen hatte,
22 He covered the whole inside of the Temple with a coating of gold until it was all finished. He also covered with gold the entire altar for the inner sanctuary.
also daß das ganze Haus gar mit Golde überzogen war; dazu auch den ganzen Altar vor dem Chor überzog er mit Golde.
23 He had two cherubim made out of olive wood for the inner sanctuary, each one ten cubits tall.
Er machte auch im Chor zween Cherubim, zehn Ellen hoch, von Ölbaumholz.
24 Both wings of the cherub measured five cubits, making a total wingspan of ten cubits.
Fünf Ellen hatte ein Flügel eines jeglichen Cherubs, daß zehn Ellen waren von dem Ende seines einen Flügels zum Ende seines andern Flügels.
25 The other cherub was also ten cubits tall, since they were identical both in size and shape.
Also hatte der andere Cherub auch zehn Ellen, und war einerlei Maß und einerlei Raum beider Cherubim,
26 Both cherubs were ten cubits tall.
daß also ein jeglicher Cherub zehn Ellen hoch war.
27 He had the cherubim placed inside the inner sanctuary of the Temple. Since their wings were fully spread, a wing of the first cherub touched one wall, a wing of the second cherub touched the other wall, and in the middle of the Temple their wings touched.
Und er tat die Cherubim inwendig ins Haus. Und die Cherubim breiteten ihre Flügel aus, daß eines Flügel rührete an diese Wand und des andern Cherub Flügel rührete an die andere Wand; aber mitten im Hause rührete ein Flügel den andern.
28 The cherubim were also covered with a gold coating.
Und er überzog die Cherubim mit Golde.
29 He had all the Temple walls, both the inner and outer sanctuaries, carved with designs of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers.
Und an allen Wänden des Hauses um und um ließ er Schnitzwerk machen von ausgehöhlten Cherubim, Palmen und Blumenwerk, inwendig und auswendig.
30 He also had the floor of the Temple floor covered with gold, both the inner and outer sanctuaries.
Auch überzog er den Boden des Hauses mit güldenen Blechen, inwendig und auswendig.
31 He had doors of olive wood made for the entrance to the inner sanctuary, together with a lintel and doorposts that had five sides.
Und im Eingange des Chors machte er zwo Türen von Ölbaumholz mit fünfeckigen Pfosten.
32 These olive wood double doors had carved into them designs of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers. The cherubim and palm trees carvings were covered with beaten gold.
Und ließ Schnitzwerk darauf machen von Cherubim, Palmen und Blumenwerk; und überzog sie mit güldenen Blechen.
33 Similarly he had four-sided doorposts of olive wood made for the entrance to the sanctuary.
Also machte er auch im Eingang des Tempels viereckige Pfosten von Ölbaumholz
34 Its doors were made of cypress wood, each with two hinged panels.
und zwo Türen von Tannenholz, daß eine jegliche Tür zwei Blatt hatte aneinander hangen in ihren Angeln.
35 He had them carved with designs of cherubim, palm trees, and open flowers, and covered them with gold beaten evenly over the carvings.
Und machte Schnitzwerk drauf von Cherubim, Palmen und Blumenwerk; und überzog sie mit Golde, recht wie es befohlen war.
36 Solomon had the inner courtyard built with three courses of dressed stone and one of cedar beams.
Und er bauete auch einen Hof drinnen von dreien Riegen gehauener Steine und von einer Riege gehöfelter Zedern.
37 The foundation of the Lord's Temple was laid in the fourth year of Solomon's reign, in the month of Ziv.
Im vierten Jahr, im Monden Sif, ward der Grund gelegt am Hause des HERRN.
38 The Temple was finished exactly as specified and planned in Solomon's eleventh year, in the eighth month, the month of Bul. So it took him seven years to build the Temple.
Und im elften Jahr, im Monden Bul (das ist der achte Mond), ward das Haus bereitet, wie es sein sollte, daß sie sieben Jahre dran baueten.
