< Luke 17 >

1 Then He said to the disciples: “Things that cause people to fall are bound to come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Ɛyɛ dɛn ara a hintinnua no bɛba, nanso obiara a ebi bɛfa ne so aba no nnue.
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to fall.
Eye ma saa onipa no sɛ wɔde ɔbo a mu yɛ duru bi bɛsen ne kɔn mu atow no akyene po mu sen sɛ ɔbɛto nkumaa yi mu baako hintidua.
3 Watch out for yourselves: if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
Enti monhwɛ mo ho so yiye. “Sɛ wo nua fom wo a, ka nʼanim na sɛ onu ne ho a, fa ne bɔne kyɛ no.
4 Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in that day returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
Sɛ nso ɔfom wo mpɛn ason da koro na mpɛn dodow a ɔfom wo no nyinaa, ɔde ahonu srɛ wo a fa kyɛ no.”
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
Asomafo no ka kyerɛɛ Yesu se, “Awurade, to yɛn gyidi so.”
6 So the Lord said: “If you had faith like a mustard seed has, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Sɛ mowɔ gyidi te sɛ onyaa aba a, anka mubetumi aka akyerɛ ankye yi se, ‘Tutu kogu po mu,’ na ɛbɛba mu saa.
7 “And which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline to eat’?
“Mo mu hena na ɔwɔ ɔsomfo a ɔyɛ nʼafuw mu adwuma anaasɛ ɔhwɛ ne mmoa na ofi afum ba a, ɔbɛka akyerɛ no se, ‘Wʼaduan si hɔ na kodidi?’
8 Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
Na mmom ɔrenka nkyerɛ no se, ‘Noa aduan ma me na sɛ mididi wie a, wo nso woakodidi?’
9 Does he thank that slave because he did the things commanded? I guess not!
Sɛ ɔsomfo yi yɛ nʼasɛde yi a ne wura no bɛda no ase ana?
10 So likewise you, whenever you have done everything you were told to do, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves, because we have only done what we were supposed to.’”
Saa ara nso na sɛ mo nso moyɛ mo asɛde a, ɛsɛ sɛ moka se, ‘Yɛyɛ asomfo a ayeyi mfata yɛn; yɛn asɛde a ɛsɛ sɛ yɛyɛ na yɛayɛ no.’”
11 Now as He was traveling toward Jerusalem, He went along between Samaria and Galilee.
Bere bi a Yesu rekɔ Yerusalem no, ɔfaa Samaria ne Galilea hye so.
12 And as He entered a certain village, ten men met Him—being lepers they stood at a distance.
Ɔrebɛn akuraa bi ase no, akwatafo du bi a na wogyinagyina kurotia no huu no
13 They called out, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
teɛteɛɛ mu se, “Yesu, yɛn wura, hu yɛn mmɔbɔ!”
14 And paying attention He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” It happened that as they went they were cleansed!
Yesu huu wɔn no, ɔka kyerɛɛ wɔn se, “Momfa mo ho nkɔkyerɛ ɔsɔfo!” Bere a akwatafo no rekɔ no, wɔn ho yɛɛ wɔn den.
15 Well one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, glorifying God with a loud voice;
Wɔn mu baako huu sɛ ne ho ayɛ no den no, ɔsan nʼakyi de ahurusi yii Onyankopɔn ayɛ se, “Anuonyam nka Onyankopɔn, wama me ho ayɛ me den!”
16 then he fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him—and he was a Samaritan!
Ɔbɛkotow Yesu anim daa no ase. Na saa ɔbarima yi yɛ Samariani.
17 So Jesus reacted by saying: “Were not all ten cleansed? So where are the nine?
Yesu bisae se, “Ɛnyɛ nnipa du na wɔn ho yɛɛ wɔn den? Baakron a wɔaka no wɔ he?
18 None were found to return and give glory to God except this foreigner!”
Adɛn nti na ɔmamfrani yi nko na wasan aba sɛ ɔrebeyi Onyankopɔn ayɛ?”
19 Then He said to him, “Get up and go; your faith has made you well.”
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɔre kɔ, wo gyidi ama wo ho ayɛ wo den.”
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said: “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;
21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ because indeed the Kingdom of God is within you.”
obi rentumi nkyerɛ mo sɛ, ‘Ɛwɔ ha anaa hɔ!’ Efisɛ Onyankopɔn ahenni no te mo mu.”
22 Then He said to the disciples: “Days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of the Man, and you will not see it.
Na ɔka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Mmere bi bɛba a mo ani begyina sɛ mubehu me bere tiaa bi wɔ mo nkyɛn, nanso morenhu me.
23 And they will say to you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Do not go along or follow.
Sɛ nnipa ka kyerɛ mo se Onipa Ba no wɔ ha anaa baabi foforo a, munnni wɔn akyi.
24 Because just like the lightning that lights the whole sky when it flashes, so also will the Son of the Man be in His day.
Sɛnea anyinam pa gya wɔ wim ma nnipa nyinaa hu no, saa ara nso na me ba a mɛsan aba no bɛyɛ.
25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation.
Nanso ansa na eyinom nyinaa bɛba mu no, ɛsɛ sɛ mihu amane na me nkurɔfo nso po me.
26 Also, just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of the Man.
“Sɛnea Noa bere so nnipa yɛɛ asoɔden no, saa ara nso na sɛ meba a ɛbɛyɛ ne no.
27 They were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
Saa bere no, nnipa didi nomee, wareware kosii sɛ Noa kɔhyɛɛ hyɛn no mu na nsuyiri bɛfaa saa nnipa no nyinaa.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they were eating, drinking, buying, selling, planting, building—
“Saa ara nso na Lot bere so no, na ɛte. Nnipa didi nomee, dii gua, yɛɛ mfuw, sisii adan,
29 but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
kosii sɛ Lot fii Sodom, na ogya ne sufre fii soro bɛhyew saa nnipa no nyinaa.
30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of the Man is revealed.
“Saa ara nso na da a mɛsan aba no bɛyɛ.
31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to get them; and likewise he who is in the field, let him not turn back.
Saa da no, ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara a ɔwɔ adwuma mu, afuw mu anaa gua so san nʼakyi ba fie sɛ ɔrebɛsesa nʼahode.
32 Remember Lot's wife!
Monkae asɛm a ɛtoo Lot yere.
33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever ‘wastes’ it will preserve it.
Obiara a ɔdɔ ne kra no, ebefi ne nsa. Na nea ɔbɛhwere ne kra no benya.
34 I tell you: on that night there will be two men in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
Da no, wɔbɛfa nnipa baanu a wɔda faako no mu baako agyaw ɔbaako.
35 Two women will be grinding together; one will be taken and the other left.”
Saa ara nso na wɔbɛfa mmea baanu a wɔrenoa aduan no mu baako agyaw ɔbaako.
Mmarima baanu a wɔreyɛ adwuma wɔ afuw mu no nso, wɔbɛfa ɔbaako agyaw ɔbaako.”
37 They reacted by saying to Him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where there is a carcass, there will the vultures also be gathered.”
Asuafo no bisaa Yesu se, “Awurade, ɛhe na wɔde wɔn bɛkɔ?” Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Baabi a funu wɔ no, apete mpa hɔ!”
