< Luke 17 >

1 Then He said to the disciples: “Things that cause people to fall are bound to come, but woe to him through whom they do come!
Nikhat Yeshuan aseijuite jah'a aseiye, “Chonset na dia lhepna hi aumjing ding mong ahi, hinlah itobang lungkhamnan anga hitam alhem'a pang mi chu!”
2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to fall.
“Na-ngongchanga sumhei song naki-o a twikhanglen'a nakilelut chu hiche aneocha ho nakipal lhuhsah sanga phachomjo ding ahi.
3 Watch out for yourselves: if your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him.
Hijeh chun chingtheiyun! Tahsan cha adang khat achonset leh, amachu sosal'in; chutia alung ahei le ngaidam in.
4 Even if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in that day returns, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”
Hiche mipa chun ihamtia nikhat'a sagi vei nachunga thildihlou abol'a, abol phat jousea jong ngaidam athum leh ngaidam in” ati.
5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.”
Seijuiten Pakai jah'a aseiyun, “Tahsan na kangaichat be uve, iti kanei diu ham neisei peh un” atiuve.
6 So the Lord said: “If you had faith like a mustard seed has, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted, and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Pakai in adonbut in, “Nanghon tahsanna ankammu te cha hijongleh naneiyuleh, hiche thing theimi phung koma hi, ‘Kibotdoh in lang twikhanglen'ah kilehlut in’ tijongleu chun nathu'u angai ding ahi! Sohpa Natoh Ding
7 “And which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he comes in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline to eat’?

8 Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare something for me to eat, and gird yourself and serve me until I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’?
Tiponte! Hitijoh hin seiyinte, ‘Ka anneh ding nei gonpeh in, natai kigeh in lang, kaneh sungsen neijen in. chuteng ajoujep le nenan nate’ atiding ahi.
9 Does he thank that slave because he did the things commanded? I guess not!
Chuleh apakai pan asohpa chu atoh dinga lom atoh jeh a apachat em? Apahcha deh poi.
10 So likewise you, whenever you have done everything you were told to do, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves, because we have only done what we were supposed to.’”
Chutobang a chu nanghon kathua nanun teng uleh hitia hi nasei diu, ‘Keiho soh lhingjoulou kanatoh diuva lom bou tong kahiuve’ nati diu ahi,” ati.
11 Now as He was traveling toward Jerusalem, He went along between Samaria and Galilee.
Yeshua Jerusalem lam jon'a achejom jing laiyin, Galilee le Samaria kigamgit na mun alhung tai.
12 And as He entered a certain village, ten men met Him—being lepers they stood at a distance.
Chutia khokhat agalut laiyin, chua chun miphah som gamla thimtah in adingun,
13 They called out, saying, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”

14 And paying attention He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” It happened that as they went they were cleansed!
Aman amaho chu aven, “Cheuvin lang thempuho gakimusah tauvin,” atipeh tai. Chutia acheuleh, aphah natnau chu suhtheng in aumtai.
15 Well one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, glorifying God with a loud voice;
Alah uva khat chun suhdam a aumchu akimu phat in, Yeshua hengah ahung kilen, “Pathen Vahchoiyin umhen!” tin apengjah tai.
16 then he fell on his face at His feet, thanking Him—and he was a Samaritan!
Ama Yeshua kengbul'ah abohkhup in, athil bolpeh na chungah kipathu aseiyin ahi. Hiche mipa chu Samaria mi ahi.
17 So Jesus reacted by saying: “Were not all ten cleansed? So where are the nine?
Yeshuan adongin, “Mi som kasuhdam hilou ham? Adang mi ko ho la?
18 None were found to return and give glory to God except this foreigner!”
Koiman Pathen loupina peh ding ageldoh lou hitam hiche gamdang mipa tailou?” atin ahi.
19 Then He said to him, “Get up and go; your faith has made you well.”
Chule Yeshuan hichepa koma chun aseiyin, “Dingdoh in lang che tan, natahsan in nasuhdam ahitai,” ati. Pathen Lenggam
20 Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the Kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said: “The Kingdom of God does not come with observation;

21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ because indeed the Kingdom of God is within you.”
Nanghon, ‘Hikom'ah aum'e’ ahiloule ‘hichea khun aume’ tin seithei pouvin nate, ajeh chu Pathen Lenggam chu nalah'uva aumtai” ati.
22 Then He said to the disciples: “Days are coming when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of the Man, and you will not see it.
Chuin aseijuite hengah hitin aseiye, “Phat ahung lhunge Mihem Chapa ahung kile na ding nikho mu nom'a naum diu, ahivanga namu lou diu ahi.”
23 And they will say to you, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Do not go along or follow.
Mihon ahinsei diu, “Veuvin Mihem Chapa khukom'ah aume” ahilouleh hivah aume, atidiu ahi, ahivangin potdoh hih un, chule jui hih'un.
24 Because just like the lightning that lights the whole sky when it flashes, so also will the Son of the Man be in His day.

26 Also, just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it also be in the days of the Son of the Man.

27 They were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

Chule vannoi leiset jong Lot nikho lai toh bang ding ahi. Miho nitin akimanchah nauvah akisaboi un–neh le don, choh le joh, loulho le insah,
29 but on the day Lot went out from Sodom, fire and brimstone rained down from heaven and destroyed them all.
Lot in Sodom khopi adalhah ni jingkah chan in abol'un ahi. Chuin van'a konin mei le kath ahung julhan abonchauvin asumang soh tan ahi.
30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of the Man is revealed.

31 “In that day, he who is on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to get them; and likewise he who is in the field, let him not turn back.

33 Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever ‘wastes’ it will preserve it.
Nahinkho tuhchah jing nagot le namansah ding, chule nahinkho nachesah le, nahuhhing joh ding ahi.
34 I tell you: on that night there will be two men in one bed; one will be taken and the other left.
Chuche jan leh mini jalkhun khat'a lumkhom ding; khat kila ding, khatpa kidalha ding.
35 Two women will be grinding together; one will be taken and the other left.”

37 They reacted by saying to Him, “Where, Lord?” He said to them, “Where there is a carcass, there will the vultures also be gathered.”
“Pakai, hitiho hi itih leh soh ding ham?” tin aseijuiten adongun ahi. Yeshuan adonbut in, “Muthong ho kititna achun mithi long naivel ah aume ti aphotchet banga hiche melchihna ho jong chun akichaina anaitai ti avetsah ahi,” ati.
