Hebrews 6
1 Therefore, leaving the elementary teaching about Christ, let us move on toward perfection, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and trust in God,
Darum wollen wir die Anfangslehre von Christus beiseite lassen, und uns zum Vollkommeneren wenden, ohne uns noch einmal mit der Grundlage der Bekehrung von toten Werken, dem Glauben an Gott,
2 of teaching about baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
Der Taufe, der Lehre, der Auflegung der Hände, der Auferstehung der Toten und dem ewigen Gerichte zu befassen. (aiōnios g166)
3 We will do this, that is, if indeed God should permit it.
Und das wollen wir tun, wenn anders Gott es uns verleiht.
4 Because, it is impossible to bring back into repentance those who were once for all enlightened, who have partaken of the heavenly gift and were made sharers in the Holy Spirit,
Denn es ist unmöglich, die, so einmal erleuchtet worden und die himmlische Gabe geschmeckt haben, und des Heiligen Geistes teilhaftig geworden sind,
Zudem noch geschmeckt haben das herrliche Gotteswort, die Kräfte der zukünftigen Welt, (aiōn g165)
6 and yet have fallen away—they would be crucifying the Son of God all over again, just for themselves, holding Him up to contempt.
Wo sie wiederum abgefallen, zu erneuern zur Buße, als die in ihnen selbst den Sohn Gottes kreuzigen und zum Gespötte haben.
7 Now the ground that drinks in the rain that frequently falls on it and produces a crop useful to those for whom it is really cultivated receives blessing from God;
Denn eine Erde, die den oft über sie kommenden Regen trinkt, und denen, für die sie auch bebaut wird, nützliche Gewächse trägt, empfängt Segen von Gott.
8 but should it bear thorns and thistles, it is disqualified, almost a curse, whose destiny is a burning.
Die aber, so Dornen und Disteln trägt, ist unnütz und dem Fluche nahe; ihr Ende ist, daß man sie ausbrennt.
9 For all that, dear ones, we are confident of the better things concerning you—things that accompany salvation—even though we speak like this.
Wir versehen uns aber zu euch, Geliebte, eines Besseren, und das zum Heile führt, obwohl wir also reden.
10 Because God is not unjust so as to ignore your work, even the labor of love you have invested in His name, in that you have ministered to the saints and continue to do so.
Denn Gott ist nicht ungerecht, daß Er vergäße eures Werkes und eurer Liebtätigkeit, die ihr an Seinem Namen bewiesen, da ihr den Heiligen Dienst geleistet habt, und noch leistet.
11 You see, we really do want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so as to fulfill the hope;
Wir wünschten aber, daß jeder von euch denselben Eifer beweise, die Hoffnung bis ans Ende voll zu bewahren.
12 so that you not become lazy, but rather imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Daß ihr nicht müde werdet, sondern nacheifert im Glauben und in der Ausdauer denen, so die Verheißung ererben.
13 Now when God made a promise to Abraham, since He had no one greater to swear by, He swore by Himself
Denn als Gott dem Abraham eine Verheißung machte, schwur Er, da Er bei nichts Höherem schwören konnte, bei Sich Selbst,
14 saying, “Indeed, blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.”
Und sprach: Wahrlich, Ich will dich reichlich segnen und vermehren.
15 And so, after he had been patient, he obtained the promise.
Und so harrte er aus, und erlangte, was ihm verheißen war.
16 Because since men swear by the greater, and for them the confirming oath puts an end to every dispute,
Die Menschen schwören bei dem Höheren, und der Eid macht bei ihnen allem Streit ein Ende durch diese Bekräftigung.
17 similarly God, being determined to show even more clearly to the heirs of the promise the unchanging nature of His purpose, guaranteed it by an oath,
Darum, da Gott wollte den Erben der Verheißung die Unwandelbarkeit Seines Ratschlusses dartun, hat Er ihn durch einen Eid vermittelt.
18 so that by two unalterable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we should have a strong encouragement, we who have taken refuge by grasping the hope set before us;
Auf daß zwei unwandelbare Stücke, bei denen nicht möglich ist, daß Gott lügen könnte, einen starken Trost gewähren uns, die wir unsere Zuflucht nehmen zu der uns gewährten Hoffnung, und an ihr halten;
19 which hope we have as an anchor for the soul, both certain and secure, actually entering the inner sanctuary behind the curtain,
Die wir haben als sicheren und zuverlässigen Anker der Seele, der auch hineinreicht in das Inwendige des Vorhangs;
