< Acts 2 >

1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together with one purpose.
Ndaa no atahori Yahudi ra fai malole na, fo ara roꞌe oi ‘Fai Pentakosta’, basa atahori mana tungga Lamatuaꞌ Yesus ra raꞌabꞌue sia ume esa. Aibꞌoiꞌ ma, ara rena liiꞌ mia lalai a onaꞌ sanggu-anin. Liiꞌ naa monae na seli, losa atahori mana sia naa ra nda hambu rena esa no esa sa.
2 And suddenly a roar came out of the sky, like the rushing of a violent wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.
3 Fiery tongues appeared and were distributed to them, and it [a tongue] landed on each one of them.
Ma ara rita onaꞌ ai mbilaꞌ mana banggi-bꞌanggiꞌ neu se sia esa-esaꞌ ata.
4 And they were all filled with Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages, as the Spirit was granting to them to speak out.
5 Now there were devout men, Jews, from every nation under heaven, dwelling in Jerusalem.
Leleꞌ naa, atahori Yahudi hetar mia nusaꞌ mataꞌ-mataꞌ sia raefafoꞌ a, rema raꞌabꞌue sia Yerusalem huu rala nara, hii-nau tungga Lamatulain.
6 So when that roar occurred, the crowd came together, and was bewildered, because each one was hearing them speaking to him in his own dialect.
Ara rena liiꞌ naa boe ma rakarumbu risiꞌ mamanaꞌ naa. Esa-esaꞌ rena dedꞌea nara mia Lamatuaꞌ Yesus atahori Nara bafa nara, de ara titindindi.
7 So they were amazed and marveled, saying to one another: “Hey, aren't all these who are speaking Galileans?
8 So how can each of us be hearing our own dialect in which we were born?
Te taoꞌ bee de hita rena ara olaꞌ rendiꞌ hita esa-esaꞌ dedꞌea nara?
9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites; those dwelling in Mesopotamia, in Judea and Cappadocia, in Pontus and Asia,
Hita ia ra, mia nusaꞌ hetar. Mia nusaꞌ Partia, Media, Elam, Mesopotamia, Yudea, Kapadokia, Pontus, Asia,
10 in Phrygia and Pamphylia, in Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene; and visitors from Rome—both Jews and proselytes—
Frigia, Pamfilia, Masir, ma Libia deka no kota Kirene; ma ruma mia kota Roma;
11 Cretans and Arabians; we hear them declaring the great works of God in our own languages.”
ruma fai mia pulu Kreta, ma rae Arab. Ruma atahori Yahudi, ma ruma atahori mia nusa-nusa feaꞌ mana masoꞌ agama Yahudi ena. Te ata rena atahori ia ra olaꞌ rendiꞌ hita dedꞌea tara. Ara olaꞌ manaseliꞌ fo Lamatualain tao helaꞌ ra. We! Hita titindindi ma!”
12 Yes they were all amazed and perplexed, saying one to another, “Whatever is going on?”
Basa se mbo-mboꞌ a, de esa natane mbali esa oi, “Taꞌo bee de dadꞌi onaꞌ naa, e? Ia, sosoa na saa, e?”
13 But different ones were jeering, saying, “They are full of sweet wine!”
14 So Peter, standing with the eleven, raised his voice and proclaimed to them: “Men—Jews and all who are dwelling in Jerusalem—let this be known to you; indeed, listen to my speech!
Sia naa hambu Petrus no Lamatuaꞌ Yesus dedenu ka sanahulu esa nara. Petrus mata neu de olaꞌ neu atahori naeꞌ mana maꞌabꞌueꞌ sia naa. Olaꞌ nahereꞌ nae, “Ama-ina, toronoo nggare! Hei atahori Yahudi, ma hei atahori mana ima leo sia kota Yerusalem! Pasa ndiki mara malolole fo rena au oꞌolangga ia, te hambu saa mana seliꞌ au ae ufadꞌe nggi.
15 Because these are not drunk, as you suppose (since it is only the third hour of the day),
Afiꞌ mae atahori ia ra mafu. Nda taꞌo naa sa! Misinedꞌa, nda hambu atahori rinu mafu fefetu anaꞌ sa. Oras ia feꞌe liiꞌ sio!
16 but this is what was spoken through the prophet Joel:
Hei rena atahori ia ra ola-olaꞌ rendi hei dedꞌea mara.
17 ‘It will be in the last days, says God: I will pour out from my Spirit upon all flesh; your sons and your daughters will prophesy; your young men will see visions; your old men will dream a dream.
‘Lamatualain nae, “Mia fai mateꞌen, Au fee Dula-dale Ngga neu basa atahori. Hei ana touꞌ ma ana feto mara, Au pake dadꞌi mana ola-ola nggara. Hei ana soru mara, hambu rita saa fo Au ae utudꞌu neu se. Hei atahori lasi mara, ralamein saa fo Au ae fee se rita.
18 In those days I will indeed pour out from my Spirit upon my male slaves and upon my female slaves, and they will prophesy.
Nandaa no fai mateꞌen, Au fee Dula-dale Ngga neu Au atahori nggara. Au fee neu touꞌ, ma Au fee neu inaꞌ ra boe. Dei fo ara olaꞌ sa fo Au ufadꞌe neu se.
19 I will show wonders in the heaven above and signs on the earth below: blood and fire and smoke vapor.
Mateꞌen te, Lamatuaꞌ fai Na losa. Te aleꞌ ia faiꞌ naa nda feꞌe nema sa, de Au tao uꞌuhuluꞌ manadadꞌiꞌ ra sia lalai ata. Relo a dadꞌi maꞌahatuꞌ; ma fulan dadꞌi mbilas onaꞌ raaꞌ e. Onaꞌ a raaꞌ, ai, no masuꞌ bubꞌue-bubꞌueꞌ hene ata reu. Losa Lamatuaꞌ fai mana seliꞌ Na naa ra, naa seka ra mana rameli roꞌe tulun Lamatulain, naa sira mana hambu masodꞌaꞌ.’”
20 The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into ‘blood’ before the great and glorious day of the Lord will come.
21 And it will be: whoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved!’
22 “Men of Israel, listen to these words: Jesus the Natsorean, a man from God attested to you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in your midst, as you yourselves well know,
Dadꞌi toronoo atahori Israꞌel re! Pasa ndiki mara rena au oꞌola ngga. Lamatulain dudꞌu basa Yesus, atahori Nasaret naa. Hei mihine mae naa tebꞌe, huu mita basa Lamatualain pake Yesus tao mana dadꞌi ma mana seliꞌ ra. Hei o mihine basa ia ra, huu Yesus tao mana dadꞌi naa ra sia hei taladꞌa ma.
23 Him—being delivered up by the established purpose and foreknowledge of God—you murdered, having taken Him with lawless hands and crucified Him;
Te hei misa E. Hei kokoe atahori deꞌulakaꞌ ra fo mbaku risa E sia hau ngganggeꞌ ata. Tehuu, Lamatulain bubꞌuluꞌ basa naa mia dalahulu na neu, fo memaꞌ naa ndaa no dudꞌuꞌa Na.
24 whom God raised up, ending the labor pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it.
Memaꞌ hei tao doidꞌoso Yesus losa Ana mate. De Ana lea nala E mia mamate Na, de fee Ne nasodꞌa baliꞌ.
25 For David says concerning Him: ‘I always saw the Lord before my face, because He is at my right side so that I not be shaken.
Dalahulu na Mane Daud suraꞌ soal Yesus taꞌo ia: ‘Au bubꞌuluꞌ ae Lamatuaꞌ no au.
26 Therefore my heart was glad and my tongue rejoiced. Furthermore, even my flesh will repose upon hope,
De au rala ngga namahoꞌo. Au koa-kio E ukundoo, ma umuhena E.
27 because You will not abandon my soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see decay. (Hadēs g86)
Ana nda hela au ao samana ngga sia atahori mates ra mamana na sa. Ana nda hela Atahori Meumare Na ao sisi na maꞌafo sia rates rala sa. (Hadēs g86)
28 You have made known to me roads of life; with Your presence You make me full of gladness.’
29 “Men, brothers, be it permitted to speak to you plainly about the patriarch David, that he both died and was buried, and his tomb is with us to this day.
Dadꞌi toronoo nggare! Fee isin au dei, fo olaꞌ relo-relo o nggi, soꞌal hita baꞌi Daud na. Baꞌi Daud olaꞌ taꞌo naa, te ana nda natudꞌu ao na sa. Hita bubꞌuluꞌ naa, huu ana mate, ma raꞌoi hendi ena. Rate na feꞌe sia hita taladꞌa na, losa faiꞌ ia.
30 So then, he being a prophet and knowing that God had sworn to him with an oath that of the fruit, according to flesh, of his loins He would raise up the Messiah to sit on his throne,
Mane Daud ia, dadꞌi Lamatualain mana ola-ola Na. Ana bubꞌuluꞌ Lamatualain helu basa pake susumbaꞌ oi, dei fo Daud tititi-nonosi na esa toꞌu parendaꞌ. Lamatualain dudꞌu Atahori naa eniꞌ a dalahulu na.
31 he foreseeing this spoke about the resurrection of the Messiah, that His soul was not abandoned in Hades, nor did His flesh see decay. (Hadēs g86)
Leleꞌ naa, Daud mete dodꞌooꞌ neu ena. Nafadꞌe naꞌahuluꞌ soꞌal Atahori fo Lamatualain dudꞌu basaꞌ a.
32 “This Jesus God raised, to which we all are witnesses.
Atahori fo Daud ola-olaꞌ a, naeni Yesus! Lamatualain tao nasodꞌa baliꞌ E mia mamate na. Ma basa hai o mita Ana nasodꞌa baliꞌ ena.
33 Therefore, having been exalted to God's right hand, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this that you now see and hear.
Oras ia, Lamatualain soꞌu Yesus fo toꞌu panggat monaeꞌ. Ana endoꞌ sia Lamatualain bobꞌoa ona Na, sia mamanaꞌ fo Lamatualain sadꞌia helaꞌ a. Ama na o fee Ne Dula-dale Meumareꞌ, tungga hehelu Na mia dalahulu na neu. Ana o helu fee Dula-dale Meumare Na, neu hita boe. Dadꞌi saa fo hei rena no mita oras ia, naa, Lamatualain fee Dula-Dale Meumare Na.
34 Further, David did not ascend into the heavens, but he himself says: ‘The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand
Daud nda hene sorga neu sa, te nafadꞌe oi, ‘Lamatualain olaꞌ no au malangga ngga oi, “Endoꞌ sia Au bobꞌoa ona ngga sia mamanaꞌ fo Au sadꞌia helaꞌ a,
35 until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet.’
losa au tao musu mara taꞌalok neu nggo.’”
36 Therefore, let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made Him both Lord and Christ, this Jesus whom you crucified!”
37 Now upon hearing this they were cut to the heart and said to Peter, and the rest of the Apostles, “Men, brothers, what shall we do?!”
Rena taꞌo naa ma, atahori ra fale rala nara reuꞌ ena. De ara ratane Petrus no dedenu feaꞌ nara oi, “Aꞌa nggare! Hai musi tao saa fai?”
38 So Peter said to them: “Repent and be baptized, each one of you, upon the name of Jesus Christ, for forgiveness of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Petrus nataa oi, “Hei musi lao hela sala-singgo mara fo tungga Lamatualain. Basa naa, musi moꞌe sarani, dadꞌi neu bukti oi hei tungga Yesus Karistus Dala Masodꞌa Na ena. Naa o dadꞌi bukti oi Lamatualain ose hendi basa salaꞌ mara boe. Ma hei o hambu Lamatualain Dula-dale Meumare Na boe.
39 For the promise is to you, and to your children, and to all who are far away—as many, that is, as the Lord our God may call.”
Lamatualain helu taꞌo naa neu basa atahori mana masoꞌ dadꞌi Eni atahori na. Ana helu taꞌo naa fee hei atahori Israꞌel mo tititi-nonosi mara. Ana o helu fee atahori mia nusa feaꞌ ra boe.
40 With many different words he both testified and kept exhorting, saying, “Escape from this perverse generation!”
Naa fo, hei hambu masodꞌaꞌ ma misodꞌa mikindoo mo E.”
41 Then those who gladly received his word were baptized, and that day about three thousand souls were added.
Faiꞌ naa, atahori rifon telu masoꞌ dadꞌi Yesus atahori nara.
42 And they continued steadfastly in the Apostles' teaching and in the fellowship, both in the breaking of the bread and in the prayers.
Ara hii raꞌabꞌue ro atahori feaꞌ mana tungga Yesus ra. Ara malole esa no esa. Tungga fai ara manggate rena nenoriꞌ mia Yesus dedenu Nara. Ara o hii hule-oꞌe ma raa raꞌabꞌue boe.
43 Fear came upon every soul—many wonders and signs were taking place through the Apostles.
Leleꞌ naa, Lamatuaꞌ Yesus dedenu Nara, tao manadadꞌi naeꞌ, losa atahori ra titiriri ma ramatau.
44 Now all who believed were together and had all things in common;
Atahori mana tungga Lamatuaꞌ Yesus Dala Masodꞌa Na, raꞌabꞌue ro ralaꞌ esa, losa saa fo sira ena na o, pake raꞌabꞌue.
45 they started selling both possessions and goods and were distributing to all according as anyone had need.
46 So day by day they continued steadfastly with one purpose in the temple and broke bread from house to house; they received their share of food with gladness and singleness of heart,
Tungga fai ara hii raꞌabꞌue sia Lamatualain Ume Hule-Oꞌe Huu Na. Ara raa tungga-tungga ume no rala nemehoꞌot. Basa se rasodꞌa hii tulu-fali esa no esa, ma ara o nda deꞌu sa.
47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And day by day the Lord added to the Church those who were being saved.
Tungga fai, ara koa-kio Lamatualain nda namaetuꞌ sa. Basa atahori deaꞌ ra hii-nau ro se. Tungga fai, Lamatualain fee masodꞌaꞌ neu atahori, de ara raꞌabꞌue ro Lamatuaꞌ Yesus atahori Nara. Naa de, ara ramaheta rakandooꞌ a.
