Psalms 98

1 A psalm for David himself. Sing ye to the Lord anew canticle: because he hath done wonderful things. His right hand hath wrought for him salvation, and his arm is holy.

Un salmo. Cantad a Yahvé un cántico nuevo, porque ha hecho cosas maravillosas. Su mano derecha y su brazo santo han obrado la salvación para él.

2 The Lord hath made known his salvation: he hath revealed his justice in the sight of the Gentiles.

Yahvé ha dado a conocer su salvación. Ha mostrado abiertamente su justicia a la vista de las naciones.

3 He hath remembered his mercy his truth toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Se ha acordado de su amorosa bondad y de su fidelidad hacia la casa de Israel. Todos los confines de la tierra han visto la salvación de nuestro Dios.

4 Sing joyfully to God, all the earth; make melody, rejoice and sing.

¡Aclamad a Yahvé, toda la tierra! Estalla y canta de alegría, sí, ¡canta alabanzas!

5 Sing praise to the Lord on the harp, on the harp, and with the voice of a psalm:

Canten alabanzas a Yahvé con el arpa, con el arpa y la voz de la melodía.

6 With long trumpets, and sound of comet. Make a joyful noise before the Lord our king:

Con trompetas y sonido de cuerno de carnero, hagan un ruido alegre ante el Rey, Yahvé.

7 Let the sea be moved and the fulness thereof: the world and they that dwell therein.

Que el mar ruja con su plenitud; el mundo y los que lo habitan.

8 The rivers shall clap their hands, the mountains shall rejoice together

Que los ríos aplaudan. Que las montañas canten juntas de alegría.

9 At the presence of the Lord: because he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with equity.

Quecanten ante Yahvé, porque viene a juzgar la tierra. Él juzgará al mundo con justicia, y los pueblos con equidad.
