Psalms 71

1 A psalm for David. Of the sons of Jonadab, and the former captives. In thee, O Lord, I have hoped, let me never be put to confusion:

১সদাপ্রভুু আমি তোমার মধ্যে আশ্রয় নিই; আমাকে কখনও লজ্জিত হতে দিও না।

2 Deliver me in thy justice, and rescue me. Incline thy ear unto me, and save me.

২আমাকে উদ্ধার করো এবং ধার্মিকতার মধ্যে আমাকে রক্ষা কর; আমার প্রতি কান দাও এবং আমার রক্ষা কর।

3 Be thou unto me a God, a protector, and a place of strength: that thou mayst make me safe. For thou art my firmament and my refuge.

৩তুমি আমার আশ্রয়ে শৈল হবে, যেখানে আমি সবদিন যেতে পারি; তুমি আমার রক্ষা করতে আজ্ঞা করেছ; কারণ তুমিই আমার শৈল এবং আমার দূর্গ।

4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the sinner, and out of the hand of the transgressor of the law and of the unjust.

৪আমার ঈশ্বর, আমাকে উদ্ধার কর, দুষ্টদের হাত থেকে এবং অন্যায়কারী নিষ্ঠুরতার হাত থেকে।

5 For thou art my patience, O Lord: my hope, O Lord, from my youth;

৫কারণ, প্রভু, তুমিই আমার আশা; তুমি ছোটবেলা থেকেই আমার বিশ্বাসভূমি।

6 By thee have I been confirmed from the womb: from my mother’s womb thou art my protector. Of thee shall I continually sing:

৬গর্ভ থেকেই তোমার উপরেই আমার আশ্রয়; মায়ের জঠর থেকেই তুমিই আমাকে নিয়েছ; আমি সবদিন তোমারই প্রশংসা করি।

7 I run become unto many as a wonder, but thou art a strong helper.

৭আমি অনেকের দৃষ্টিতে উদাহরণ স্বরূপ; তুমি আমার দৃঢ় আশ্রয়।

8 Let my mouth be filled with praise, that I may sing thy glory; thy greatness all the day long.

৮আমার মুখ তোমার প্রশংসায় পরিপূর্ণ থাকবে এবং সমস্ত দিন তোমার সম্মান করবো।

9 Cast me not off in the time of old age: when my strength shall fail, do not thou forsake me.

৯বৃদ্ধ বয়সে আমাকে পরিত্যাগ কর না, আমার শক্তি ক্ষয় পেলেও আমাকে ছেঁড়ো না।

10 For my enemies have spoken against me; and they that watched my soul have consulted together,

১০কারণ আমার শত্রুরা আমার বিষয়ে কথা বলে, আমার জীবনের উপরে যাদের চোখ, তারা একত্র পরিকল্পনা করে।

11 Saying: God hath forsaken him: pursue and take him, for there is none to deliver him.

১১তারা বলে, ঈশ্বর তাকে ত্যাগ করেছেন, দৌড়ে তাকে ধর, কারণ রক্ষা করার কেউ নেই।

12 O God, be not thou far from me: O my God, make haste to my help.

১২ঈশ্বর আমার থেকে দূরে যেও না; আমার ঈশ্বর, আমার সাহায্য করতে ত্বরা কর।

13 Let them be confounded and come to nothing that detract my soul; let them be covered with confusion and shame that seek my hurt.

১৩তারা লজ্জিত ও ক্ষয়প্রাপ্ত হোক, যারা আমার জীবনের প্রতিকূলে; তারা তিরস্কারে ও অপমানে আচ্ছন্ন হোক, যারা আমার ক্ষতির চেষ্টা করে।

14 But I will always hope; and will add to all thy praise.

১৪কিন্তু আমি সবদিন আশা করব এবং অধিক আমি তোমার আরও প্রশংসা করব।

15 My mouth shall shew forth thy justice; thy salvation all the day long. Because I have not known learning,

১৫আমার মুখ তোমার ধার্মিকতার বিষয় বর্ণনা করবে এবং তোমার পরিত্রান সমস্ত দিন বর্ণনা করবে, যেহেতু আমি তা বুঝিনা।

16 I will enter into the powers of the Lord: O Lord, I will be mindful of thy justice alone.

১৬আমি প্রভু সদাপ্রভুুর পরাক্রমের কাজ সব উল্লেখ করব; আমি তোমার, কেবল তোমারই ধার্ম্মিকতা উল্লেখ করব।

17 Thou hast taught me, O God, from my youth: and till now I will declare thy wonderful works.

১৭ঈশ্বর, তুমি যৌবনকালে থেকে আমাকে শিক্ষা দিয়ে আসছ; আর এ পর্যন্ত আমি তোমার সুন্দর কাজকে প্রচার করেছি।

18 And unto old age and grey hairs: O God, forsake me not, Until I shew forth thy arm to all the generation that is to come: Thy power,

১৮প্রকৃত পক্ষে, ঈশ্বর বৃদ্ধ বয়স এবং পাকাচুলের কাল পর্যন্ত আমাকে পরিত্যাগ কর না, আমি এই সব লোককে তোমার বাহুবল ও ভাবি বংশধরদের কাছে তোমার পরাক্রমের কথা ঘোষণা করি।

19 And thy justice, O God, even to the highest great things thou hast done: O God, who is like to thee?

১৯ঈশ্বর, তোমার ধার্মিককথা উচ্চ পর্যন্ত; তুমি মহৎ কাজ করেছ; ঈশ্বর, তোমার মত কে আছে?

20 How great troubles hast thou shewn me, many and grievous: and turning thou hast brought me to life, and hast brought me back again from the depths of the earth:

২০তুমি আমাদেরকে অনেক সংকট ও বিপদের প্রদর্শন করেছ, তুমি ফিরে আমাকে পুনরাই জীবিত কর, পৃথিবীর গভীরতা থেকে আবার উঠাও।

21 Thou hast multiplied thy magnificence; and turning to me thou hast comforted me.

২১তুমি আমার সম্মান বৃদ্ধি করেছ; ফিরিয়ে আমাকে সান্ত্বনা দাও।

22 For I will also confess to thee thy truth with the instruments of psaltery: O God, I will sing to thee with the harp, thou holy one of Israel.

২২আবার আমি নেবল যন্ত্রে তোমার স্তব করব, কারণ তোমার বিশ্বাসযোগ্যতার জন্য, আমার ঈশ্বর, বীণা যন্ত্রে তোমার উদ্দেশ্যে সঙ্গীত করব।

23 My lips shall greatly rejoice, when I shall sing to thee; and my soul which thou hast redeemed.

২৩তোমার উদ্দেশ্যে সঙ্গীত করবার দিনের আমার ঠোঁট আনন্দ গান করবে এবং আমরা প্রাণও করবে, যা তুমি মুক্ত করেছ।

24 Yea and my tongue shall meditate on thy justice all the day; when they shall be confounded and put to shame that seek evils to me.

২৪আমার জিভ সমস্ত দিন তোমার ধার্মিককথার বিষয়ে বলে, কারণ তারা লজ্জিত এবং হতাশ হয়েছে, যারা আমার ক্ষতি করার চেষ্টা করে।
