Psalms 70

1 Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him. O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.

2 Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:

যারা আমার প্রাণনাশের চেষ্টা করে, তারা যেন লজ্জিত ও অপমানিত হয়; যারা আমার ধ্বংস কামনা করে তারা যেন লাঞ্ছনায় পিছু ফিরে যায়।

3 Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: Tis well, tis well.

যারা আমাকে বলে, “হা! হা!” তারা যেন লজ্জায় পিছু ফিরে যায়।

4 Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.

কিন্তু যারা তোমার অন্বেষণ করে তারা তোমাতে আনন্দ করুক ও খুশি হোক; যারা তোমার পরিত্রাণ ভালোবাসে তারা সর্বদা বলুক, “সদাপ্রভু মহান!”

5 But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.

কিন্তু আমি দরিদ্র ও অভাবী; হে ঈশ্বর, আমাকে সাহায্য করতে তাড়াতাড়ি এসো, তুমিই আমার সহায় এবং আমার মুক্তিদাতা, হে সদাপ্রভু, দেরি কোরো না।
