Psalms 60

1 Unto the end, for them that shall be changed, for the inscription of a title, to David himself, for doctrine, When he set fire to Mesopotamia of Syria and Sobal and Joab returned and slew of Edom, in the vale of the saltpits, twelve thousand men. O God, thou hast cast us off, and hast destroyed us; thou hast been angry, and hast had mercy on us.

১প্রধান বাদ্যকরের জন্য। স্বর-শূসন এদুৎ। দায়ূদের মিকতাম শিক্ষার্থক। যখন অরাম-নহরয়িমের ও অরাম সোবার সঙ্গে তার যুদ্ধ হয় আর জোয়াব ফিরে লবণোপত্যকায় ইদোমের দ্বাদশ সহস্র লোককে নিহনন করেন, তখন। ঈশ্বর, তুমি আমাকে ত্যাগ করেছ; আমাদের ভেঙ্গেছ; তুমি রাগ করেছ; আবার আমাদের ফিরিয়ে আন।

2 Thou hast moved the earth, and hast troubled it: heal thou the breaches thereof, for it has been moved.

২তুমি দেশকে কাঁপিয়ে তুলেছ; তুমি এটিকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করেছ; কারণ দেশ টলছে।

3 Thou hast shewn thy people hard things; thou hast made us drink wine of sorrow.

৩তুমি নিজের লোকেদের কষ্ট দেখেছ; তুমি আমাদের আশ্চর্য্যজনক আঙ্গুর রস পান করিয়েছ।

4 Thou hast given a warning to them that fear thee: that they may flee from before the bow: That thy beloved may be delivered.

৪যারা তোমাকে সম্মান করে তুমি তাদেরকে একটি পতাকা দিয়েছ যাতে তারা তীরের থেকে রক্ষা পায়। (সেলা)

5 Save me with thy right hand, and hear me.

৫তোমাকে যারা ভালবাসে তারা যেন উদ্ধার পায়, তোমার ডান হাত দ্বারা উদ্ধার কর, আমাকে উত্তর দাও।

6 God hath spoken in his holy place: I will rejoice, and I will divide Sichem; and will mete out the vale of tabernacles.

৬ঈশ্বর তাঁর পবিত্র স্থানে কথা বলেন, “আমি আনন্দিত হব, আমি শিখিম বিভক্ত করব এবং সুক্কতের উপত্যকা মাপব।

7 Galaad is mine, and Manasses is mine: and Ephraim is the strength of my head. Juda is my king:

৭গিলিয়দ আমার এবং মনঃশিও আমার; আর ইফ্রয়িম আমার শিরস্ত্রাণ; যিহূদা আমার রাজদন্ড;

8 Moab is the pot of my hope. Into Edom will I stretch out my shoe: to me the foreigners are made subject.

৮মোয়াব দেশ আমার ধোবার পাত্র; আমি ইদোমের উপরে নিজের জুতো নিক্ষেপ করবো; আমি পলেষ্টিয়দের বিজয়ের জন্য খুশিতে চিত্কার করব।

9 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

৯কে আমাকে শক্তিশালী শহরে নিয়ে যাবেন? কে আমাকে ইদোমে নিয়ে যাবে?”

10 Wilt not thou, O God, who hast cast us off? and wilt not thou, O God, go out with our armies?

১০কিন্তু তুমি, ঈশ্বর, তুমি কি আমাদের ত্যাগ করনি? তুমি আমাদের সেনাবাহিনীর সাথে যুদ্ধে যাওনা।

11 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the salvation of man.

১১শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে আমাদের সাহায্য কর; কারণ মানুষের সাহায্য অর্থহীন।

12 Through God we shall do mightily: and he shall bring to nothing them that afflict us.

১২আমরা ঈশ্বরের সাহায্যে জয়লাভ করব; তিনিই আমাদের শত্রুদের নিক্ষিপ্ত করবেন।
