Psalms 15

1 A psalm of David. Lord, who shall dwell in thy tabernacle? or who shall rest in thy holy hill?

১দায়ূদের গীত। সদাপ্রভুু, কে তোমার তাঁবুতে বাস করবে? কে তোমার পবিত্র পর্বতে বাস করবে?

2 He that walketh without blemish, and worketh justice:

২যে ব্যক্তি নির্দোষভাবে চলে এবং যা ন্যায্য তাই করে এবং তার হৃদয় থেকে সত্য কথা বলে।

3 He that speaketh truth in his heart, who hath not used deceit in his tongue: Nor hath done evil to his neighbour: nor taken up a reproach against his neighbours.

৩সে তার জিভ দিয়ে নিন্দা করে না এবং অন্যদের ক্ষতি করে না, না তার প্রতিবেশীকে অপমান করে।

4 In his sight the malignant is brought to nothing: but he glorifieth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his neighbour, and deceiveth not;

৪অযোগ্য ব্যক্তি তার চোখে তুচ্ছ হয়; কিন্তু সে তাদের সম্মান করে যারা সদাপ্রভুুকে ভয় করে। তার শপথের জন্য তার ক্ষতি হলেও, সে তার প্রতিজ্ঞা ফিরিয়ে নেয় না।

5 He that hath not put out his money to usury, nor taken bribes against the innocent: He that doth these things shall not be moved for ever.

৫যখন সে টাকা ধার দেয় তখন তিনি সুদ নেন না, তিনি নির্দোষের বিরুদ্ধে সাক্ষ্য দিতে ঘুষ গ্রহণ করেন না। যে এই কাজগুলো করে, সে কখনো বিচলিত হবে না।
