Psalms 136

1 Praise the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Hãy cảm tạ Chúa Hằng Hữu vì Ngài là thiện! Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

2 Praise ye the God of gods: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Hãy cảm tạ Đức Chúa Trời của các thần. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

3 Praise ye the Lord of lords: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Hãy cảm tạ Chúa của các chúa. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

4 Who alone doth great wonders: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chỉ một mình Chúa làm phép lạ vĩ đại. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

5 Who made the heavens in understanding: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Với óc khôn ngoan, Chúa sáng tạo bầu trời. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

6 Who established the earth above the waters: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa trải đất ra bên biển cả. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

7 Who made the great lights: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa làm ra các thể sáng vĩ đại. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

8 The sun to rule over the day: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Mặt trời cai quản ban ngày. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

9 The moon and the stars to rule the night: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Mặt trăng cai quản ban đêm. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

10 Who smote Egypt with their firstborn: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa đánh giết con đầu lòng Ai Cập. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

11 Who brought Israel from among them: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa giải thoát dân chúng Ít-ra-ên. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

12 With a mighty hand and a stretched out arm: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Do cánh tay mạnh mẽ quyền năng của Ngài. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

13 Who divided the Red Sea into parts: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa chia Biển Đỏ làm đôi. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

14 And brought out Israel through the midst thereof: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Cho dân chúng Ít-ra-ên đi ngang qua. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

15 And overthrew Pharao and his host in the Red Sea: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Xua Pha-ra-ôn và đạo quân xuống Biển Đỏ. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

16 Who led his people through the desert: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa đưa dân Ngài qua hoang mạc. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

17 Who smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa đánh hạ các vua lớn. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

18 And slew strong kings: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa giết các vua danh tiếng. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

19 Sehon king of the Amorrhites: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Si-hôn vua người A-mô-rít. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

20 And Og king of Basan: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Và Óc vua Ba-san. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

21 And he gave their land for an inheritance: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa ban lãnh thổ họ làm cơ nghiệp. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

22 For an inheritance to his servant Israel: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Cơ nghiệp cho Ít-ra-ên, đầy tớ Ngài. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

23 For he was mindful of us in our affliction: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa nhớ chúng con trong cảnh khốn cùng. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

24 And he redeemed us from our enemies: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Ngài giải cứu chúng con khỏi kẻ thù. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

25 Who giveth food to all flesh: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Chúa ban lương thực cho mọi sinh vật. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.

26 Give glory to the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Hãy cảm tạ Đức Chúa Trời trên trời. Vì lòng nhân từ Ngài tồn tại muôn đời.
