Psalms 124

1 If it had not been that the Lord was with us, let Israel now say:

ದಾವೀದನ ಯಾತ್ರಾ ಗೀತೆ. ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಇರದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಏನಾಗುತ್ತಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲರೇ ಹೇಳಲಿ.

2 If it had not been that the Lord was with us, When men rose up against us,

ವೈರಿಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದಾಗ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಇರದಿದ್ದರೆ,

3 Perhaps they had swallowed us up alive. When their fury was enkindled against us,

ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ರೋಷಗೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

4 Perhaps the waters had swallowed us up.

ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾಹವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಳುಗಿಸುತ್ತಿತ್ತು; ತೊರೆಯು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿಯುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

5 Our soul hath passed through a torrent: perhaps our soul had passed through a water insupportable.

ರಭಸ ಪ್ರವಾಹ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕೊಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು.

6 Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us to be a prey to their teeth.

ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವೈರಿಗಳ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೇಟೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಡದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರವಾಗಲಿ.

7 Our soul hath been delivered as a sparrow out of the snare of the followers. The snare is broken, and we are delivered.

ನಾವು ಬೇಟೆಗಾರರ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಾವು ಹರಿದುಹೋದ ಬಲೆಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡೆವು.

8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹಾಯವು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ, ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒದಗಿ ಬಂತು.
