Psalms 123

1 To thee have I lifted up my eyes, who dwellest in heaven.

ଆରୋହଣ ଗୀତ। ହେ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗୋପବିଷ୍ଟ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭଆଡ଼େ ଊର୍ଦ୍ଧ୍ୱଦୃଷ୍ଟି କରେ।

2 Behold as the eyes of the servants are on the hands of their masters, As the eyes of the handmaid are on the hands of her mistress: so are our eyes unto the Lord our God, until he have mercy on us.

ଦେଖ, ଯେପରି ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ତ୍ତାର ହସ୍ତକୁ ଓ ଦାସୀର ଚକ୍ଷୁ ଆପଣା କର୍ତ୍ତ୍ରୀର ହସ୍ତକୁ ଅନାଏ; ସେପରି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା କରିବା ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ଚକ୍ଷୁ ତାହାଙ୍କୁ ଅନାଇଥାଏ।

3 Have mercy on us, O Lord, have mercy on us: for we are greatly filled with contempt.

ହେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୋ, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା କର, ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦୟା କର; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଅବଜ୍ଞାରେ ଅତିଶୟ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଅଛୁ।

4 For our soul is greatly filled: we are a reproach to the rich, and contempt to the proud.

ସୁଖଶାଳୀମାନଙ୍କ ଉପହାସରେ ଓ ଅହଙ୍କାରୀମାନଙ୍କ ଅବଜ୍ଞାରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ଅତିଶୟ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଅଛି।
