Psalms 103
1 For David himself. Bless the Lord, O my soul: and let all that is within me bless his holy name.
দাউদের গীত। হে আমার প্রাণ, সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো; হে আমার অন্তিম সত্তা, তাঁর পবিত্র নামের প্রশংসা করো।
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and never forget all he hath done for thee.
হে আমার প্রাণ, সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো, এবং তাঁর সব উপকার ভুলে যেয়ো না—
3 Who forgiveth all thy iniquities: who healeth all thy diseases.
যিনি তোমার সমস্ত পাপ ক্ষমা করেন আর তোমার সব রোগ ভালো করেন,
4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction: who crowneth thee with mercy and compassion.
যিনি তোমার জীবন মৃত্যু থেকে মুক্ত করেন আর তোমাকে প্রেম ও করুণার মুকুটে ভূষিত করেন,
5 Who satisfieth thy desire with good things: thy youth shall be renewed like the eagle’s.
তিনি উত্তম দ্রব্যে তোমার মনোবাসনা পূর্ণ করেন যেন ঈগল পাখির মতো তোমার যৌবন নতুন হয়।
6 The Lord doth mercies, and judgment for all that suffer wrong.
সদাপ্রভু ধার্মিকতার কাজ করেন আর পীড়িতদের পক্ষে ন্যায়বিচার করেন।
7 He hath made his ways known to Moses: his wills to the children of Israel.
তিনি মোশিকে জানিয়েছিলেন তাঁর পথগুলি, ইস্রায়েলের লোকদের তাঁর কাজকর্ম:
8 The ford is compassionate and merciful: longsuffering and plenteous in mercy.
সদাপ্রভু কৃপাময় ও স্নেহশীল, ক্রোধে ধীর, দয়াতে মহান।
9 He will not always be angry: nor will he threaten for ever.
তিনি ক্রমাগত আমাদের অভিযুক্ত করবেন না, তিনি চিরকাল তাঁর ক্রোধ মনে পুষে রাখবেন না;
10 He hath not dealt with us according to our sins: nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
তিনি আমাদের প্রতি আমাদের পাপ অনুযায়ী আচরণ করেন না অথবা আমাদের অপরাধ অনুযায়ী আমাদের প্রতিফল দেন না।
11 For according to the height of the heaven above the earth: he hath strengthened his mercy towards them that fear him.
কারণ জগতের ঊর্ধ্বে আকাশমণ্ডল যত উচ্চ, যারা তাঁকে সম্ভ্রম করে তাদের প্রতি তাঁর প্রেম ততটাই মহান;
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our iniquities from us.
পূর্ব থেকে পশ্চিম যত দূরে, ততটাই আমাদের অপরাধ তিনি আমাদের থেকে দূর করেছেন।
13 As a father hath compassion on his children, so hath the Lord compassion on them that fear him:
বাবা যেমন তার সন্তানসন্ততিদের প্রতি করুণা করেন, যারা সদাপ্রভুকে সম্ভ্রম করে তিনি ততটাই তাদের প্রতি করুণা করেন;
14 For he knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust:
কারণ তিনি জানেন আমরা কীভাবে নির্মিত হয়েছি, তিনি স্মরণে রাখেন যে আমরা কেবল ধুলো।
15 Man’s days are as grass, as the flower of the field so shall he flourish.
মরণশীল মানুষের জীবন ঘাসের মতো, মাঠের ফুলের মতো তারা ফুটে ওঠে;
16 For the spirit shall pass in him, and he shall not be: and he shall know his place no more.
তাদের উপর দিয়ে বায়ু বয়ে যায় আর তারা নিশ্চিহ্ন হয়, আর সেই স্থান তাদের আর মনে রাখে না।
17 But the mercy of the Lord is from eternity and unto eternity upon them that fear him: And his justice unto children’s children,
কিন্তু অনাদিকাল থেকে অনন্তকাল পর্যন্ত সদাপ্রভুর প্রেম তাদের সঙ্গে আছে যারা তাকে সম্ভ্রম করে, এবং তাঁর ধার্মিকতা তাদের সন্তানসন্ততিদের প্রতি বর্তায়—
18 To such as keep his covenant, And are mindful of his commandments to do them.
তাদের প্রতি যারা তাঁর নিয়ম পালন করে এবং তাঁর অনুশাসন পালন করার কথা মনে রাখে।
19 The Lord hath prepared his throne in heaven: and his kingdom shall rule over all.
সদাপ্রভু তাঁর সিংহাসন স্বর্গে প্রতিষ্ঠিত করেছেন, আর তাঁর রাজ্য সবকিছুর উপরে শাসন করে।
20 Bless the Lord, all ye his angels: you that are mighty in strength, and execute his word, hearkening to the voice of his orders.
সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো, হে তাঁর দূতেরা, তোমরা যারা পরাক্রমী তাঁর পরিকল্পনা সম্পন্ন করো, তোমরা যারা তাঁর আদেশ পালন করো।
21 Bless the Lord, all ye his hosts: you ministers of his that do his will.
সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো, হে তাঁর স্বর্গের সমস্ত বাহিনী, তোমরা তাঁর সেবাকারী যারা তাঁর ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ করো।
22 Bless the Lord, all his works: in every place of his dominion, O my soul, bless thou the Lord.
সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো, হে তাঁর সমস্ত সৃষ্টি, তাঁর আধিপত্যের সমস্ত স্থানে। হে আমার প্রাণ, সদাপ্রভুর প্রশংসা করো।
