< John 10 >

1 Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber.
MELEL, melel I indai on komail, me jo weid nan wanim, pedelon on nan deun jip, a dauda waja toror, iei men lipirap o men kuli.
2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
A me kin pedelon pan wanim, iei jilepan jip o.
3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
Iei me jilepan wanim o kin ritinada mo a; a jip akan kin ron nil a; i me ekereki na jip akan ad arail, kare irail wei.
4 And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice.
A kin kapedoi na jip akan, ap tion mo’rail, o jip akan kin idedauen i, pwe re anlar nil a.
5 But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers.
A re jota pan idauen, me re jan, pwe re pan tan jan, pwe re jan nil arail.
6 This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what he spoke to them.
Jejuj kotin majani on irail karajeraj pot et, a irail jota weweki mepukat, me a kotin majani on irail.
7 Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
Iejuj pil kotin majani on irail: Melel, melel I indai on komail: Nai wanim en jip akan.
8 All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not.
Karoj, me pwarador mo i, iei lipirap o men kuli, o jip akan jota kin ron irail.
9 I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures.
Nai wanim o, a meamen pedelon re i, pan kamaurela o diar mana purepure.
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.
Lipirap kin kodon pirapela, o kamela, o kaokaoe, a nai kodo, pwe irail en ale maur, kakairida kokolata.
11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep.
Nai jilepa mau; a jilepa mau kin tonmeteki on na jip akan maur i.
12 But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep:
A me kin pwaipwai o me jota udan jilepa, o me kaidin udan na jip oko, iei me ninar kidi eu wel kokodo, ap kajela jip oko, tandaui, a kidi en wel jaikidi jip oko, kamueit ir pajan.
13 And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep.
Me pwaipwai o kin tandaui, aki a pwaipwai, o jota injenoki jip oko.
14 I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know me.
Nai jilepa mau, o I aja nai kan, o nai kan pil aja ia.
15 As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep.
Duen Jam o aja ia, iduen I aja Jam, o I tonmeteki on jip akan maur i.
16 And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.
A pil akai nai jip, me jo kijan nan kel wet, mepuko I pil pan wado, o re pan ron nil ai, o a pan pwin taieu o jilepa me ta men,
17 Therefore doth the Father love me: because I lay down my life, that I may take it again.
Iei me Jam pok on ia, pwe I kidi maur i, pwe I en pur on ale.
18 No man taketh it away from me: but I lay it down of myself, and I have power to lay it down: and I have power to take it up again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Jota me ki jan ia, pwe pein nai kidi. I manaman on kidi maur i, I pil manaman on kapure don ia. Kujoned pot et I aleer jan ren Jam ai.
19 A dissension rose again among the Jews for these words.
Iei me Juj oko ap pil liak toror pajan pweki majan pukat.
20 And many of them said: He hath a devil, and is mad: why hear you him?
Me toto re’rail indada: A tanwar en tewil o iakalar. Menda komail ron i?
21 Others said: These are not the words of one that hath a devil: Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
Akai me indada: Kaidik padak en tanwar en tewil pukat, da, tewil pan kak kapad pajan maj en me majkun amen?
22 And it was the feast of the dedication at Jerusalem: and it was winter.
A ran en ijimaj en im en kaudok wiaui nan Ierujalem, i anjaun kapau.
23 And Jesus walked in the temple, in Solomon’s porch.
A Iejuj kotikot jili nan im en kaudok, nan palan en Jalomo.
24 The Jews therefore came round about him, and said to him: How long dost thou hold our souls in suspense? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Juj oko kapili pena i indan i: Arai da komui pan okioki jan kit? Ma komui Krijtuj, en kadede on kit janjal!
25 Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me.
Iejuj kotin majani on irail: I indai on komail er, a komail jota pojon dodok kan, me I wiadar ni mar en Jam ai, iei me kin kadede ia.
26 But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep.
A komail jota pojon, pwe komail kaidik kijan nai jip, duen me I indai on komail er.
27 My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me.
Nai jip oko kin ron nil ai, I aja irail a re kin idauen ia.
28 And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
A I ki on irail maur joutuk, a re jota pan jalonala kokolata, o jota, me pan ki jan irail nan pa i. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
29 That which my Father hath given me, is greater than all: and no one can snatch them out of the hand of my Father.
Jam ai, me ki on ia irail, me lapa jan meakaroj, o jota me pan kak ki jan irail ni lim en Jam ai.
30 I and the Father are one.
Nai o Jam me ta men.
31 The Jews then took up stones to stone him.
Juj oko ap pil rik takai, pwen kajuk i.
32 Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father; for which of these works do you stone me?
Iejuj kotin japen irail: Dodok mau toto, me I kajale on komail er jan ren Jam o, a menia dodok ren mepukat, me komail kate kin ia?
33 The Jews answered him: For a good work we stone thee not, but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, maketh thyself God.
Juj oko ap japen i: Kaidik dodok mau eu, me je kate kin komui, a pweki lalaue, o pweki aramaj amen koe, me wia kin pein uk Kot,
34 Jesus answered them: Is it not written in your law: I said you are gods?
Iejuj kotin japen irail: A jo intinidier nan omail kapun: I indada, komail kot akan,
35 If he called them gods, to whom to word of God was spoken, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Ari, ma a kin wia kin ir kot, me aleer majan en Kot, pwe kijin likau kan jota kak japunala;
36 Do you say of him whom the Father hath sanctified and sent into the world: Thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God?
A komail kin inda kin i, me Jam a kajarauialar, o kadara don jappa, koe lalaue, pweki ai indada: Japwilim en Kot nai?
37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
Ma I jo wiawia dodok kan en Jam ai, komail der kamelele ia.
38 But if I do, though you will not believe me, believe the works: that you may know and believe that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.
A ma I kin wiawia, komail en pojonki dodok kan, ma komail jota pojon ia, pwe komail en aja pojon, me Jam ai podidi on ia, o nai podidi on i.
39 They sought therefore to take him; and he escaped out of their hands.
Irail ap pil jon jaikidi i. I ari piti jan ni pa’rail.
40 And he went again beyond the Jordan, into that place where John was baptizing first; and there he abode.
O kotin purelan palilan Iordan, waja Ioanej kin wia paptaij ia maj; I ari kotikot waja o.
41 And many resorted to him, and they said: John indeed did no sign.
A me toto pokon don i indada: Ioanej jota wiadar kilel eu; a melel eta karoj, me Ioanej majanieki men et.
42 But all things whatsoever John said of this man, were true. And many believed in him.
A me toto pojonla i waja o.
