Isaiah 61
1 The spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord hath anointed me: he hath sent me to preach to the meek, to heal the contrite of heart, and to preach a release to the captives, and deliverance to them that are shut up.
Thần của Chúa Giê-hô-va ngự trên ta; vì Ðức Giê-hô-va đã xức dầu cho ta, đặng giảng tin lành cho kẻ khiêm nhường. Ngài đã sai ta đến đặng rịt những kẻ vỡ lòng, đặng rao cho kẻ phu tù được tự do, kẻ bị cầm tù được ra khỏi ngục;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God: to comfort all that mourn:
đặng rao năm ban ơn của Ðức Giê-hô-va, và ngày báo thù của Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta; đặng yên ủi mọi kẻ buồn rầu;
3 To appoint to the mourners of Sion, and to give them a crown for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of grief: and they shall be called in it the mighty ones of justice, the planting of the Lord to glorify hint.
đặng ban mão hoa cho kẻ buồn rầu ở Si-ôn thay vì tro bụi, ban dầu vui mừng thay vì tang chế, ban áo ngợi khen thay vì lòng nặng nề; hầu cho những kẻ ấy được xưng là cây của sự công bình, là cây Ðức Giê-hô-va đã trồng để được vinh hiển.
4 And they shall build the places that have been waste from of old, and shall raise up ancient ruins, and shall repair the desolate cities, that were destroyed for generation and generation.
Họ sẽ xây lại các nơi hoang vu ngày xưa, dựng lại các nơi hủy hoại lúc trước, lập lại thành bị hủy phá, là những nơi đổ nát lâu đời.
5 And strangers shall stand and shall feed your flocks: and the sons of strangers shall be your husbandmen, and the dressers of your vines.
Những người khách lạ sẽ đứng đặng chăn bầy chiên các ngươi, những người ngoại quốc sẽ làm kẻ cày ruộng và trồng nho của các ngươi;
6 But you shall be called the priests of the Lord: to you it shall be said: Ye ministers of our God: you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and you shall pride yourselves in their glory.
nhưng các ngươi thì sẽ được gọi là thầy tế lễ của Ðức Giê-hô-va; sẽ được xưng là chức dịch của Ðức Chúa Trời chúng ta; sẽ ăn của báu các nước, và lấy sự vinh hoa của họ mà khoe mình.
7 For your double confusion and shame, they shall praise their part: therefore shall they receive double in their land, everlasting joy shall be unto them.
Các ngươi sẽ được gấp hai để thay vì sự xấu hổ; chúng nó sẽ có sản nghiệp bội phần trong xứ mình, và được sự vui mừng đời đời.
8 For I am the Lord that love judgment, and hate robbery in a holocaust: and I will make their work in truth, and I will make a perpetual covenant with them.
Vì ta, Ðức Giê-hô-va, ưa sự chánh trực, ghét sự trộm cướp và sự bất nghĩa. Ta sẽ lấy điều thành tín báo trả lại, và lập giao ước nước chúng nó đời đời.
9 And they shall know their seed among the Gentiles, and their offspring in the midst of peoples: all that shall see them, shall know them, that these are the seed which the Lord hath blessed.
Dòng-dõi chúng nó sẽ nổi tiếng trong các nước, con cháu sẽ nổi tiếng trong các dân; phàm ai thấy sẽ nhận là một dòng dõi mà Ðức Giê-hô-va đã ban phước.
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, and my soul shall be joyful in my God: for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation: and with the robe of justice he hath covered me, as a bridegroom decked with a crown, and as a bride adorned with her jewels.
Ta sẽ rất vui vẻ trong Ðức Giê-hô-va, linh hồn ta mừng rỡ trong Ðức Chúa Trời ta; vì Ngài đã mặc áo cứu rỗi cho ta; khoác áo choàng công bình cho ta, như chàng rể mới diện mão hoa trên đầu mình, như cô dâu mới dồi mình bằng châu báu.
11 For as the earth bringeth forth her bud, and as the garden causeth her seed to shoot forth: so shall the Lord God make justice to spring forth, and praise before all the nations.
Vả, như đất làm cho cây mọc lên, vườn làm cho hột giống nứt lên thể nào, thì Chúa Giê-hô-va cũng sẽ làm cho sự công bình và sự khen ngợi nứt ra trước mặt mọi dân tộc thể ấy.
