Revelation 5
1 And I saw on the right hand of him that sat upon the throne a book, written within and on the back, sealed with seven seals.
| پس از آن، در دست راست آن کسی که بر تخت نشسته بود، طوماری دیدم که بر هر دو طرف آن نوشته شده بود و با هفت مُهر، آن را مهر و موم کرده بودند. |
2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who [is] worthy to open the book, and to break its seals?
| آنگاه فرشتهٔ نیرومندی را دیدم که با صدای بلند می‌پرسید: «چه کسی لیاقت دارد که این مهرها را بشکند و طومار را بگشاید؟» |
3 And no one was able in the heaven, or upon the earth, or underneath the earth, to open the book, or to regard it.
| اما کسی در آسمان و زمین و در میان مردگان پیدا نشد که قادر باشد طومار را باز کند و بخواند. |
4 And I wept much because no one had been found worthy to open the book nor to regard it.
| من از روی ناامیدی، به شدت می‌گریستم، زیرا هیچ‌کس پیدا نشد که لیاقت گشودن و خواندن طومار را داشته باشد. |
5 And one of the elders says to me, Do not weep. Behold, the lion which [is] of the tribe of Juda, the root of David, has overcome [so as] to open the book, and its seven seals.
| اما یکی از آن بیست و چهار پیر به من گفت: «گریه نکن. ببین، شیر قبیلهٔ یهودا که از نسل داوود است، پیروز شده است! او لیاقت دارد طومار و هفت مهر آن را بگشاید.» |
6 And I saw in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, a Lamb standing, as slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God [which are] sent into all the earth:
| آنگاه بره‌ای دیدم که گویی ذبح شده باشد، اما در مقابل تخت و موجودات زنده، و در میان بیست و چهار پیر ایستاده بود. او هفت شاخ و هفت چشم داشت که همان روح هفتگانهٔ خداست که به تمام نقاط جهان فرستاده می‌شود. |
7 and it came and took [it] out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
| آنگاه برّه نزدیک آمد و طومار را از دست راست آنکه بر تخت نشسته بود، گرفت. |
8 And when it took the book, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb, having each a harp and golden bowls full of incenses, which are the prayers of the saints.
| وقتی طومار را گرفت، آن بیست و چهار پیر در برابر او سجده کردند. هر یک از آنان یک چنگ و کاسه‌های طلایی پر از بخور داشتند که دعاهای ایمانداران است. |
9 And they sing a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open its seals; because thou hast been slain, and hast redeemed to God, by thy blood, out of every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation,
| ایشان برای او سرود جدیدی می‌خواندند و می‌گفتند: «تو لیاقت داری که طومار را بگیری و مهرش را باز کرده، آن را بخوانی، زیرا جانت را قربانی کردی و مردم را از هر نژاد و زبان و قوم و قبیله برای خدا خریدی، |
10 and made them to our God kings and priests; and they shall reign over the earth.
| و ایشان را برای خدای ما کاهن ساختی و به سلطنت رساندی؛ از این رو بر زمین سلطنت خواهند کرد.» |
11 And I saw, and I heard [the] voice of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and their number was ten thousands of ten thousands and thousands of thousands;
| سپس در رؤیا، میلیونها فرشته را دیدم که گرداگرد تخت و موجودات زنده و پیران جمع شده، |
12 saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that has been slain, to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
| با صدای بلند این سرود را می‌خوانند: «برّهٔ خدا که جانش را در راه نجات مردم قربانی کرد، لیاقت دارد که صاحب قدرت و دولت، حکمت و قوت، حرمت و جلال و برکت باشد.» |
13 And every creature which is in the heaven and upon the earth and under the earth, and [those that are] upon the sea, and all things in them, heard I saying, To him that sits upon the throne, and to the Lamb, blessing, and honour, and glory, and might, to the ages of ages. (aiōn g165)
| آنگاه صدای تمام موجودات آسمان و زمین و زیر زمین و دریاها را شنیدم که می‌سرودند و می‌گفتند: «ستایش و حرمت، جلال و قوت تا ابد از آنِ برّه و آنکه بر تخت نشسته است باد.» (aiōn g165) |
14 And the four living creatures said, Amen; and the elders fell down and did homage.
| و آن چهار موجود زنده گفتند: «آمین»، و آن بیست و چهار پیر سجده کرده، او را پرستیدند. |
