Revelation 2
1 To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden lamps:
Escribe al ángel de la iglesia de Efeso: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el cual anda en medio de los siete candelabros de oro, dice estas cosas:
2 I know thy works and [thy] labour, and thine endurance, and that thou canst not bear evil [men]; and thou hast tried them who say that themselves [are] apostles and are not, and hast found them liars;
Yo sé tus obras, y tu trabajo, y tu paciencia, y que tú no puedes sufrir los malos, y has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles, y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos.
3 and endurest, and hast borne for my name's sake, and hast not wearied:
Y has sufrido, y sufres, y has trabajado por causa de mi nombre, y no has desfallecido.
4 but I have against thee, that thou hast left thy first love.
Pero tengo algo contra ti, porque has dejado tu primer amor.
5 Remember therefore whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works: but if not, I am coming to thee, and I will remove thy lamp out of its place, except thou shalt repent.
Por lo cual ten memoria de donde has caído, y arrepiéntete, y haz las primeras obras; si no, vendré a ti prestamente, y quitaré tu candelabro de su lugar, si no te arrepintieres.
6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the works of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
Empero tienes esto, que aborreces los hechos de los Nicolaitas, los cuales yo también aborrezco.
7 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him that overcomes, I will give to him to eat of the tree of life which is in the paradise of God.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: Al que venciere, daré a comer del árbol de la vida, el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.
8 And to the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: These things says the first and the last, who became dead, and lived:
Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia de Esmirna: El primero y el postrero, que fue muerto, y vive, dice estas cosas:
9 I know thy tribulation and thy poverty; but thou art rich; and the railing of those who say that they themselves are Jews, and are not, but a synagogue of Satan.
Yo sé tus obras, y tu tribulación, y tu pobreza, (pero tú eres rico, ) y sé la blasfemia de los que se dicen ser Judíos, y no lo son, sino que son la sinagoga de Satanás.
10 Fear nothing [of] what thou art about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give to thee the crown of life.
No tengas ningún temor de las cosas que has de padecer. He aquí, el diablo ha de arrojar algunos de vosotros a la cárcel, para que seáis probados; y tendréis tribulación de diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida.
11 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He that overcomes shall in no wise be injured of the second death.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: El que venciere, no será dañado de la segunda muerte.
12 And to the angel of the assembly in Pergamos write: These things says he that has the sharp two-edged sword:
Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia que está en Pergamo: El que tiene la espada afilada de dos filos, dice estas cosas:
13 I know where thou dwellest, where the throne of Satan [is]; and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in the days in which Antipas my faithful witness [was], who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
Yo sé tus obras, y donde moras, que es en donde está la silla de Satanás; y tienes mi nombre, y no has negado mi fe, aun en los días en que fue Antipas mi testigo fiel, el cual ha sido muerto entre vosotros, donde Satanás mora.
14 But I have a few things against thee: that thou hast there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a snare before the sons of Israel, to eat [of] idol sacrifices and commit fornication.
Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti; porque tú tienes ahí los que tienen la doctrina de Balaam, el cual enseñaba a Balaac a poner escándalo delante de los hijos de Israel, a comer de cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos, y a cometer fornicación.
15 So thou also hast those who hold the doctrine of Nicolaitanes in like manner.
Así también tú tienes a los que tienen la doctrina de los Nicolaitas, lo cual yo aborrezco.
16 Repent therefore: but if not, I come to thee quickly, and I will make war with them with the sword of my mouth.
Arrepiéntete; porque de otra manera vendré a ti prestamente, y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.
17 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him that overcomes, to him will I give of the hidden manna; and I will give to him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he that receives [it].
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: Al que venciere, daré a comer del maná escondido, y le daré una piedrecita blanca, y en la piedrecita un nombre nuevo escrito, el cual ninguno conoce, sino aquel que lo recibe.
18 And to the angel of the assembly in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, he that has his eyes as a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass:
Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia que está en Tiatira: El Hijo de Dios que tiene sus ojos como llama de fuego, y sus pies semejantes al latón fino, dice estas cosas:
19 I know thy works, and love, and faith, and service, and thine endurance, and thy last works [to be] more than the first.
Yo he conocido tus obras, y caridad, y servicio, y fe, y tu paciencia, y tus obras; y las postreras, que son muchas más que las primeras.
20 But I have against thee that thou permittest the woman Jezebel, she who calls herself prophetess, and she teaches and leads astray my servants to commit fornication and eat of idol sacrifices.
Empero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que permites a Jezabel mujer (que se dice profetisa) enseñar, y seducir a mis siervos, a fornicar, y a comer cosas ofrecidas a los ídolos.
21 And I gave her time that she should repent, and she will not repent of her fornication.
Y le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta de su fornicación, y no se ha arrepentido.
22 Behold, I cast her into a bed, and those that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of her works,
He aquí, yo la arrojaré a un lecho, y a los que adulteran con ella, en muy grande tribulación, si no se arrepintieren de sus obras.
23 and her children will I kill with death; and all the assemblies shall know that I am he that searches [the] reins and [the] hearts; and I will give to you each according to your works.
Y mataré sus hijos con muerte; y todas las iglesias sabrán, que yo soy el que escudriño los riñones, y los corazones; y daré a cada uno de vosotros según sus obras.
24 But to you I say, the rest who [are] in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I do not cast upon you any other burden;
Pero yo digo a vosotros, y a los demás que estáis en Tiatira: Cualesquiera que no tienen esta doctrina, y que no han conocido las profundidades de Satanás, (como ellos dicen, ) yo no enviaré sobre vosotros otra carga.
25 but what ye have hold fast till I shall come.
Empero la que ya tenéis, tenédla hasta que yo venga.
26 And he that overcomes, and he that keeps unto the end my works, to him will I give authority over the nations,
Y al que hubiere vencido, y hubiere guardado mis obras hasta el fin, yo le daré potestad sobre las naciones;
27 and he shall shepherd them with an iron rod; as vessels of pottery are they broken in pieces, as I also have received from my Father;
Y regirlas ha con vara de hierro, y serán quebrantadas como vaso de ollero, como también yo he recibido de mi Padre.
28 and I will give to him the morning star.
Y darle he la estrella de la mañana.
29 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies.
El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
