Revelation 10
1 And I saw another strong angel coming down out of the heaven, clothed with a cloud, and the rainbow upon his head, and his countenance as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire,
Und ich sah einen anderen gewaltigen Engel vom Himmel herabkommen, angethan mit einer Wolke, und dem Regenbogen auf seinem Haupte, und sein Angesicht wie die Sonne, und seine Füße wie Feuersäulen,
2 and having in his hand a little opened book. And he set his right foot on the sea, and the left upon the earth,
und in seiner Hand hatte er ein kleines aufgeschlagenes Buch, und er setzte seinen rechten Fuß auf das Meer und den linken auf das Land,
3 and cried with a loud voice as a lion roars. And when he cried, the seven thunders uttered their own voices.
und rief mit lauter Stimme, wie ein Löwe brüllt; und als er rief, da gaben die sieben Donner ihren Ruf.
4 And when the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write: and I heard a voice out of the heaven saying, Seal the things which the seven thunders have spoken, and write them not.
Und als die sieben Donner geredet, wollte ich schreiben, und ich hörte eine Stimme vom Himmel sagen: versiegle, was die sieben Donner geredet, und schreibe es nicht.
5 And the angel whom I saw stand on the sea and on the earth lifted up his right hand to the heaven,
Und der Engel, den ich stehen sah auf dem Meer und auf dem Land, erhob seine rechte Hand zum Himmel,
6 and swore by him that lives to the ages of ages, who created the heaven and the things that are in it, and the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be no longer delay; (aiōn g165)
und schwur bei dem, der da lebet in alle Ewigkeit, der den Himmel geschaffen hat und was darin ist, und die Erde und was darin ist, und das Meer und was darin ist: es wird keine Zeit mehr sein, (aiōn g165)
7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound the trumpet, the mystery of God also shall be completed, as he has made known the glad tidings to his own bondmen the prophets.
sondern in den Tagen des Rufes des siebenten Engels, wenn er sich anschickt die Trompete zu blasen, ist das Geheimnis Gottes vollendet, wie er es seinen Knechten, den Propheten,
8 And the voice which I heard out of the heaven [was] again speaking with me, and saying, Go, take the little book which is opened in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the earth.
als frohe Botschaft mitgeteilt hat. Und die Stimme, welche ich vom Himmel gehört hatte, sprach abermals zu mir also: gehe hin, nimm das offene Buch in der Hand des Engels, der auf dem Meer und dem Land steht.
9 And I went to the angel, saying to him to give me the little book. And he says to me, Take and eat it up: and it shall make thy belly bitter, but in thy mouth it shall be sweet as honey.
Und ich gieng zu dem Engel, und verlangte von ihm das Buch, und er sagte zu mir: nimm es und iß es, und es wird dir den Magen verbittern, aber in deinem Munde wird es süß sein wie Honig.
10 And I took the little book out of the hand of the angel, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth as honey, sweet; and when I had eaten it my belly was made bitter.
Und ich nahm das Buch aus der Hand des Engels und aß es, und es war in meinem Munde wie süßer Honig, und als ich es gegessen hatte, ward es mir bitter im Magen.
11 And it was said to me, Thou must prophesy again as to peoples and nations and tongues and many kings.
Und sie sagten mir: du mußt wiederum weissagen über Völker und Nationen und Sprachen und viele Könige.
