Psalms 96

1 Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: sing unto Jehovah, all the earth.

Singet ein neues Lied dem Jehovah, singet dem Jehovah, die ganze Erde.

2 Sing unto Jehovah, bless his name; publish his salvation from day to day.

Singet Jehovah, segnet Seinen Namen! Verkündigt Sein Heil von Tag zu Tag!

3 Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all the peoples.

Erzählt Seine Herrlichkeit unter den Völkerschaften, unter allen Völkern Seine Wunder.

4 For Jehovah is great and exceedingly to be praised; he is terrible above all gods.

Denn groß und sehr zu loben ist Jehovah. Furchtbar ist Er über allen Göttern.

5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens.

Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen, aber Jehovah machte die Himmel.

6 Majesty and splendour are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Majestät ist und Ehre vor Seinem Angesicht, Stärke und Schmuck in Seinem Heiligtum.

7 Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;

Gebt her Jehovah, ihr Familien der Völker, gebt her Jehovah Herrlichkeit und Stärke!

8 Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; bring an oblation and come into his courts;

Gebt her Jehovah die Herrlichkeit Seines Namens, bringt Speiseopfer und kommt in Seine Vorhöfe!

9 Worship Jehovah in holy splendour; tremble before him, all the earth.

Jehovah betet an in der Ehre der Heiligkeit! Es kreiße vor Ihm die ganze Erde.

10 Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth! yea, the world is established, it shall not be moved; he will execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.

Sprecht unter den Völkerschaften: Jehovah ist König; auch ist gefestigt die Welt, nicht wankt sie. Er schafft Recht den Völkern in Geradheit.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;

Es seien fröhlich die Himmel und die Erde frohlocke, es brause das Meer und seine Fülle.

12 Let the field exult and all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,

Das Gefilde jauchze und alles, was darauf, dann lasset lobpreisen alle Bäume des Waldes.

13 Before Jehovah, for he cometh; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.

Vor Jehovah; denn Er kommt, Er kommt zu richten die Erde. Er richtet die Welt in Gerechtigkeit und die Völker in Seiner Wahrheit.
