Psalms 23

1 A Psalm of David. Jehovah is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Un salmo de David. Yahvé es mi pastor; No me faltará nada.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside still waters.

Me hace descansar en verdes praderas. Me conduce junto a aguas tranquilas.

3 He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Él restaura mi alma. Me guía por las sendas de la justicia por amor a su nombre.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.

Aunque camine por el valle de la sombra de la muerte, No temeré ningún mal, porque tú estás conmigo. Tu vara y tu cayado, me reconfortan.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; thou hast anointed my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Preparas una mesa ante mí en presencia de mis enemigos. Unges mi cabeza con aceite. Mi copa se llena.

6 Surely, goodness and loving-kindness shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of Jehovah for the length of the days.

Ciertamente la bondad y el amor me seguirán todos los días de mi vida, y habitaré en la casa de Yahvé para siempre.
