1 Hallelujah! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in the firmament of his power.

Rühmet Jah! Rühmet Gott in seinem Heiligtume, rühmet ihn in seiner starken Veste!

2 Praise him in his mighty acts; praise him according to the abundance of his greatness.

Rühmet ihn ob seiner gewaltigen Thaten, rühmet ihn nach der Fülle seiner Größe!

3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet; praise him with lute and harp;

Rühmet ihn mit Posaunenschall, rühmet ihn mit Harfe und Zither!

4 Praise him with the tambour and dance; praise him with stringed instruments and the pipe;

Rühmet ihn mit Pauke und Reigentanz, rühmet ihn mit Saitenspiel und Schalmei!

5 Praise him with loud cymbals; praise him with high sounding cymbals.

Rühmet ihn mit hellen Cymbeln, rühmet ihn mit schallenden Cymbeln!

6 Let everything that hath breath praise Jah. Hallelujah!
