Proverbs 6
1 My son, if thou hast become surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand for a stranger,
Фиуле, дакэ те-ай пус кезаш пентру апроапеле тэу, дакэ те-ай принс пентру алтул,
2 thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.
дакэ ешть легат прин фэгэдуинца гурий тале, дакэ ешть принс де кувинтеле гурий тале,
3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, since thou hast come into the hand of thy friend: go, humble thyself, and be urgent with thy friend.
фэ тотушь лукрул ачеста, фиуле: дезлягэ-те, кэч ай кэзут ын мына апроапелуй тэу! Де ачея ду-те, арункэ-те ку фаца ла пэмынт ши стэруеште де ел!
4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids:
Ну да сомн окилор тэй, нич аципире плеоапелор тале!
5 deliver thyself as a gazelle from the hand [of the hunter], and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.
Скапэ дин мына луй кум скапэ кэприоара дин мына вынэторулуй ши ка пасэря дин мына пэсэрарулуй!…
6 Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways and be wise:
Ду-те ла фурникэ, ленешуле; уйтэ-те ку бэгаре де сямэ ла кэиле ей ши ынцелепцеште-те!
7 which having no chief, overseer, or ruler,
Еа н-аре нич кэпетение, нич привегетор, нич стэпын,
8 provideth her bread in the summer, [and] gathereth her food in the harvest.
тотушь ышь прегэтеште храна вара ши стрынӂе де-але мынкэрий ын тимпул сечеришулуй.
9 How long, sluggard, wilt thou lie down? When wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
Пынэ кынд вей ста кулкат, ленешуле? Кынд те вей скула дин сомнул тэу?
10 A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest!
Сэ май дормь пуцин, сэ май аципешть пуцин, сэ май ынкручишезь пуцин мыниле ка сэ дормь!…
11 So shall thy poverty come as a roving plunderer, and thy penury as an armed man.
Ши сэрэчия вине песте тине ка ун хоц ши липса, ка ун ом ынармат.
12 A man of Belial, a wicked person, is he that goeth about with a perverse mouth;
Омул де нимик, омул нелеӂюит, умблэ ку неадевэрул ын гурэ,
13 he winketh with his eyes, he speaketh with his feet, he teacheth with his fingers;
клипеште дин окь, дэ дин пичор ши фаче семне ку деӂетеле.
14 deceits are in his heart; he deviseth mischief at all times, he soweth discords.
Рэутатя есте ын инима луй, урзеште лукрурь реле ынтруна ши стырнеште чертурь.
15 Therefore shall his calamity come suddenly: in a moment shall he be broken, and without remedy.
Де ачея, нимичиря ый ва вени пе неаштептате; ва фи здробит деодатэ ши фэрэ ляк.
16 These six [things] doth Jehovah hate, yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Шасе лукрурь урэште Домнул ши кяр шапте Ый сунт урыте:
17 haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood;
окий труфашь, лимба минчиноасэ, мыниле каре варсэ сынӂе невиноват,
18 a heart that deviseth wicked imaginations; feet that are swift in running to mischief;
инима каре урзеште планурь нелеӂюите, пичоареле каре аляргэ репеде ла рэу,
19 a false witness that uttereth lies, and he that soweth discords among brethren.
марторул минчинос, каре спуне минчунь, ши чел че стырнеште чертурь ынтре фраць.
20 My son, observe thy father's commandment, and forsake not the teaching of thy mother;
Фиуле, пэзеште сфатуриле татэлуй тэу ши ну лепэда ынвэцэтура мамей тале:
21 bind them continually upon thy heart, tie them about thy neck:
лягэ-ле некурмат ла инимэ, атырнэ-ле де гыт!
22 when thou walkest, it shall lead thee; when thou sleepest, it shall keep thee; and [when] thou awakest, it shall talk with thee.
Еле те вор ынсоци ын мерсул тэу, те вор пэзи ын пат ши ыць вор ворби ла дештептаре.
23 For the commandment is a lamp, and the teaching a light, and reproofs of instruction are the way of life:
Кэч сфатул есте о канделэ, ынвэцэтура есте о луминэ, яр ындемнул ши мустраря сунт каля веций.
24 to keep thee from the evil woman, from the flattery of the tongue of a strange woman.
Еле те вор фери де фемея стрикатэ, де лимба адеменитоаре а челей стрэине.
25 Lust not after her beauty in thy heart, neither let her take thee with her eyelids;
Н-о пофти ын инима та пентру фрумусеця ей ши ну те лэса адеменит де плеоапеле ей!
26 for by means of a whorish woman [a man is brought] to a loaf of bread, and another's wife doth hunt for the precious soul.
Кэч пентру о фемее курвэ, омул ажунӂе де ну май рэмыне декыт ку о букатэ де пыне, ши фемея мэритатэ ынтинде о курсэ унуй суфлет скумп.
27 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his garments not be burned?
Поате чинева сэ я фок ын сын фэрэ сэ и се априндэ хайнеле?
28 Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be scorched?
Сау поате мерӂе чинева пе кэрбунь априншь фэрэ сэ-й ардэ пичоареле?
29 So he that goeth in to his neighbour's wife: whosoever toucheth her shall not be innocent.
Тот аша есте ши ку чел че се дуче ла неваста апроапелуй сэу: орьчине се атинӂе де еа ну ва рэмыне непедепсит.
30 They do not despise a thief, if he steal to satisfy his soul when he is hungry:
Хоцул ну есте урӂисит кынд фурэ ка сэ-шь потоляскэ фоамя, кэч ый есте фоаме.
31 and if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.
Ши, дакэ есте принс, требуе сэ дя ынапой ыншептит, сэ дя кяр тот че аре ын касэ.
32 Whoso committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.
Дар чел че прякурвеште ку о фемее есте ун ом фэрэ минте; сингур ышь перде вяца чине фаче аша.
33 A wound and contempt shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.
Ну ва авя декыт ранэ ши рушине ши окара ну и се ва штерӂе.
34 For jealousy is the rage of a man, and he will not spare in the day of vengeance;
Кэч ӂелозия ынфурие пе ун бэрбат, ши н-аре милэ ын зиуа рэзбунэрий;
35 he will not regard any ransom, neither will he rest content though thou multipliest [thy] gifts.
ну се уйтэ ла ничун прец де рэскумпэраре ши ну се ласэ ындуплекат нич кяр де чел май маре дар.
