Proverbs 24
1 Be not thou envious of evil men, neither desire to be with them;
၁မ တရားသောသူ တို့ကို မ ငြူစူ နှင့်။ သူ တို့နှင့် ပေါင်းဘော် ခြင်းငှါ အလို မ ရှိနှင့်။
2 for their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.
၂သူ တို့သည် ဖျက်ဆီး ခြင်းငှါ နှလုံး ကြံစည် တတ် ၏။ နှုတ် နှင့်လည်း ဘေး ပြုမည်စကားကို ပြော တတ်၏။
3 Through wisdom is a house built, and by understanding it is established;
၃ဉာဏ် ပညာအားဖြင့် အိမ် ကိုတည်ဆောက် ၍ ခိုင်ခံ့ မြဲမြံစေရ၏။
4 and by knowledge are the chambers filled with all precious and pleasant substance.
၄ပညာ အတတ်အားဖြင့် အခန်း များတို့သည် အဘိုးထိုက်၍၊ နှစ်သက် ဘွယ်သော ဥစ္စာ အပေါင်း တို့နှင့် ပြည့် ရကြ၏။
5 A wise man is strong, and a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
၅ပညာရှိ သောသူ သည် တန်ခိုး ရှိ ၏။ ပညာ အတတ်နှင့် ပြည့်စုံသောသူ သည် ခွန်အား တိုးပွါး တတ်၏။
6 For with good advice shalt thou make thy war; and in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
၆ပညာရှိ တို့နှင့် တိုင်ပင်ပြီးမှစစ်မှု ကိုပြု ရ၏။ အကြံ ပေးနိုင်သော သူများစွာ ရှိ လျှင် ၊ ဘေး လွတ်တတ်၏။
7 Wisdom is too high for a fool: he will not open his mouth in the gate.
၇ပညာ မြင့် သောကြောင့် မိုက် သောသူမမှီနိုင်။ မြို့တံခါးဝ ၌ စကား မ ပြော ဝံ့။
8 He that deviseth to do evil shall be called a master of intrigues.
၈မ ကောင်းသောအမှုကို ပြုခြင်းငှါ ကြံစည် သောသူကို၊ ဘေး ပြုသောသူဟူ၍ မှည့် ရ၏။
9 The purpose of folly is sin, and the scorner is an abomination to men.
၉မိုက် သောအကြံ အစည်၌ အပြစ် ပါ၏။ မထီမဲ့မြင် ပြုသောသူသည် လည်း ၊ လူ စက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာဘွယ်ဖြစ် ၏။
10 [If] thou losest courage in the day of trouble, thy strength is small.
၁၀သင် သည် အမှု ရောက်သောကာလ ၌ စိတ်ပျက် လျှင် အားနည်း ၏။
11 Deliver them that are taken forth unto death, and withdraw not from them that stagger to slaughter.
၁၁သင်္ချိုင်း သို့ ထုတ် ၍ အသေခံ လုသောသူတို့ကို သင်သည် နှုတ်အံ့သောငှါ၊ အား မထုတ်ဘဲနေလျက်၊
12 If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not, will not he that weigheth the hearts consider it? And he that preserveth thy soul, he knoweth it; and he rendereth to man according to his work.
၁၂ငါ့တို့မ သိ ဟုဆို သော်လည်း ၊ နှလုံး သဘောကို ဆင်ခြင် သောသူသည် မ မှတ်၊ သင် ၏စိတ် ဝိညာဉ်ကို စောင့် သောသူသည် မသိဘဲ၊ လူအသီးအသီးတို့အား သူ တို့အကျင့် နှင့် အလျောက်၊ အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို မဆပ် မပေးဘဲ နေတော်မူမည်လော။
13 Eat honey, my son, for it is good; and a honeycomb is sweet to thy taste:
၁၃ငါ့ သား ၊ ပျားရည် ကောင်း သောကြောင့် စား လော့။ ချိုမြိန် သော ပျားလပို့ ကိုလည်း စားလော့။
14 so consider wisdom for thy soul; if thou hast found it, there shall be a result, and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
၁၄ထိုအတူ ၊ သင်တွေ့ရသောပညာ တရားသည် စိတ် ဝိညာဉ်၌ အရသာနှင့်ပြည့်စုံ၍၊ သင် သည် မြော်လင့် ခြင်းအကြောင်းမ ပျက်၊ ကောင်း သောအကျိုးကိုခံရ လိမ့်မည်။
15 Lay not wait, O wicked [man], against the dwelling of the righteous; lay not waste his resting-place.
၁၅အိုမ တရားသောသူ၊ ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူ၏ အိမ် ကို ချောင်း ၍ မ ကြည့်နှင့်။ သူ ၏ ငြိမ်ဝပ် ရာအရပ်ကို မ ဖျက် နှင့်။
16 For the righteous falleth seven times, and riseth up again; but the wicked stumble into disaster.
၁၆ဖြောင့်မတ် သောသူသည် ခုနစ် ကြိမ်လဲ သော်လည်း ထ ပြန်လိမ့်မည်။ မ တရားသောသူမူကား ၊ လဲ သောအခါ ဆုံးရှုံး လိမ့်မည်။
17 Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thy heart be glad when he stumbleth;
၁၇သင် ၏ရန်သူ လဲ သောအခါ ဝမ်း မ မြောက်နှင့်။ ခြေ ထိခိုက်သောအခါ ရွှင်လန်း သောစိတ် မ ရှိနှင့်။
18 lest Jehovah see it, and it be evil in his sight, and he turn away his anger from him.
၁၈ရှိလျှင် ထာဝရဘုရား သိမြင် သဖြင့် ၊ မ နှစ်သက်ဘဲ သူ မှ အမျက် တော်ကို လွှဲ တော်မူမည်။
19 Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, [and] be not envious of the wicked:
၁၉မ တရားသောသူတို့ကြောင့် စိတ် မ ပူနှင့်။ အဓမ္မ လူတို့ကို မ ငြူစူ နှင့်။
20 for there shall be no future to the evil [man]; the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
၂၀အကြောင်း မူကား၊ မ တရားသောသူသည် အကျိုး ကိုမ ရ။ အဓမ္မ လူ၏ မီးခွက် သည် သေ လိမ့်မည်။
21 My son, fear Jehovah and the king: meddle not with them that are given to change.
၂၁ငါ့ သား ၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ကို၎င်း၊ ရှင် ဘုရင်ကို၎င်း ၊ ကြောက်ရွံ့ လော့။ မ တည်ကြည်သောသူတို့နှင့် မ ရောနှော မပေါင်းဘော်နှင့်။
22 For their calamity shall rise suddenly; and who knoweth the ruin of them both?
၂၂သူ တို့ဘေး သည် ချက်ခြင်း ရောက် တတ်၏။ ထို နှစ်ပါး တို့၏ အဆုံး ကို အဘယ်သူ သိ သနည်း။
23 These things also come from the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
၂၃ထိုမှတပါး ၊ ပညာရှိ တို့နှင့် ဆိုင်သော အရာဟူမူကား ၊ တရား တွေ့မှု စီရင်ရာတွင် လူမျက်နှာ ကို မ ထောက် ကောင်း။
24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou art righteous, peoples shall curse him, nations shall abhor him;
၂၄သင် သည် ဖြောင့်မတ် ၏ဟု မ တရားသောသူအား ဆို သောသူကို လူ အမျိုးတို့သည် ကျိန်ဆဲ ကြလိမ့်မည်။ လူ အနွှယ်တို့သည် စက်ဆုပ် ရွံရှာကြလိမ့်မည်။
25 but to them that rebuke [him] shall be delight, and a good blessing cometh upon them.
၂၅ဆုံးမ ပြစ်တင်သောသူတို့မူကား ၊ စိတ် သာယာလျက် ၊ ကောင်းကြီး မင်္ဂလာကို ခံ လျက်ရှိကြ လိမ့်မည်။
26 He kisseth the lips who giveth a right answer.
၂၆မှန် သောစကားကို ပြန် ပြောတတ်သောသူ၏ နှုတ် ကို လူတိုင်းနမ်း လိမ့်မည်။
27 Prepare thy work without, and put thy field in order, and afterwards build thy house.
၂၇ပြင် အရပ်မှာ သင် ၏အလုပ် ကိုပြင် လော့။ လယ် တော၌ ကိုယ်အဘို့ ပြင်ဆင် လော့။ နောက်မှ သင် ၏ နေရာအိမ် ကို ဆောက် လော့။
28 Be not a witness against thy neighbour without cause; and wouldest thou deceive with thy lips?
၂၈သင် ၏အိမ်နီးချင်း တဘက် ၌ အကြောင်း မရှိဘဲ သက်သေ မ ခံ နှင့်။ ကိုယ် နှုတ် နှင့် သူတပါးကို မလှည့်စား နှင့်။
29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me, I will render to the man according to his work.
၂၉သူသည် ငါ ၌ ပြု သည်အတိုင်း သူ ၌ ငါပြု မည်။ သူ့ အကျင့် နှင့်အလျောက် အကျိုးအပြစ်ကို ငါဆပ် ပေး မည်ဟု မ ဆို နှင့်။
30 I went by the field of a sluggard, and by the vineyard of a man void of understanding;
၃၀ပျင်းရိ သောသူ ၏ လယ်ယာ အနား နှင့်၊ ဉာဏ် မ ရှိ သောသူ ၏ စပျစ် ဥယျာဉ်အနား မှာ ငါရှောက်သွား စဉ်၊
31 and lo, it was all grown over with thistles, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and its stone wall was broken down.
၃၁ဆူးပင် များပြား ၍၊ မြေတပြင်လုံး ၌ ဆူးလေ ပင် အနှံ့အပြားလွှမ်းမိုး လျက် ၊ ကျောက် ရိုး ပြို လျက်ရှိသည်ကို၊
32 Then I looked, I took it to heart; I saw, I received instruction:
၃၂ငါ မြင် ၍ စေ့စေ့ဆင်ခြင် ၏။ ကြည့်ရှု ၍ သွန်သင် ခြင်းကို ခံရ၏။
33 — A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest!
၃၃ခဏ အိပ် လျက်၊ ခဏ ပျော် လျက်၊ အိပ်ပျော် ခြင်းငှါ ၊ ခဏ လက်ချင်း ပိုက် လျက်နေစဉ်တွင်၊
34 So shall thy poverty come [as] a roving plunderer, and thy penury as an armed man.
၃၄ဆင်းရဲ ခြင်းသည် ခရီးသွား သောသူကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ ဥစ္စာ ပြုန်းတီးခြင်းသည် သူရဲ ကဲ့သို့ ၎င်း ရောက် လာလိမ့်မည်။
