Philemon 1
1 Paul, prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timotheus the brother, to Philemon the beloved and our fellow-workman,
க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய யீஸோ² ர்ப³ந்தி³தா³ஸ: பௌலஸ்தீதி²யநாமா ப்⁴ராதா ச ப்ரியம்’ ஸஹகாரிணம்’ பி²லீமோநம்’
2 and to the sister Apphia and to Archippus our fellow-soldier, and to the assembly which [is] in thine house.
ப்ரியாம் ஆப்பியாம்’ ஸஹஸேநாம் ஆர்கி²ப்பம்’ பி²லீமோநஸ்ய க்³ரு’ஹே ஸ்தி²தாம்’ ஸமிதிஞ்ச ப்ரதி பத்ரம்’ லிக²த: |
3 Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and [the] Lord Jesus Christ.
அஸ்மாகம்’ தாத ஈஸ்²வர: ப்ரபு⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாந் ப்ரதி ஸா²ந்திம் அநுக்³ரஹஞ்ச க்ரியாஸ்தாம்’|
4 I thank my God, always making mention of thee at my prayers,
ப்ரபு⁴ம்’ யீஸு²ம்’ ப்ரதி ஸர்வ்வாந் பவித்ரலோகாந் ப்ரதி ச தவ ப்ரேமவிஸ்²வாஸயோ ர்வ்ரு’த்தாந்தம்’ நிஸ²ம்யாஹம்’
5 hearing of thy love and the faith which thou hast towards the Lord Jesus, and towards all the saints,
ப்ரார்த²நாஸமயே தவ நாமோச்சாரயந் நிரந்தரம்’ மமேஸ்²வரம்’ த⁴ந்யம்’ வதா³மி|
6 in such sort that thy participation in the faith should become operative in the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in us towards Christ [Jesus].
அஸ்மாஸு யத்³யத் ஸௌஜந்யம்’ வித்³யதே தத் ஸர்வ்வம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டம்’ யீஸு²ம்’ யத் ப்ரதி ப⁴வதீதி ஜ்ஞாநாய தவ விஸ்²வாஸமூலிகா தா³நஸீ²லதா யத் ஸப²லா ப⁴வேத் தத³ஹம் இச்சா²மி|
7 For we have great thankfulness and encouragement through thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.
ஹே ப்⁴ராத: , த்வயா பவித்ரலோகாநாம்’ ப்ராண ஆப்யாயிதா அப⁴வந் ஏதஸ்மாத் தவ ப்ரேம்நாஸ்மாகம்’ மஹாந் ஆநந்த³: ஸாந்த்வநா ச ஜாத: |
8 Wherefore having much boldness in Christ to enjoin thee what is fitting,
த்வயா யத் கர்த்தவ்யம்’ தத் த்வாம் ஆஜ்ஞாபயிதும்’ யத்³யப்யஹம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டேநாதீவோத்ஸுகோ ப⁴வேயம்’ ததா²பி வ்ரு’த்³த⁴
9 for love's sake I rather exhort, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now also prisoner of Jesus Christ.
இதா³நீம்’ யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ப³ந்தி³தா³ஸஸ்²சைவம்பூ⁴தோ ய: பௌல: ஸோ(அ)ஹம்’ த்வாம்’ விநேதும்’ வரம்’ மந்யே|
10 I exhort thee for my child, whom I have begotten in [my] bonds, Onesimus,
அத: ஸ்²ரு’ங்க²லப³த்³தோ⁴(அ)ஹம்’ யமஜநயம்’ தம்’ மதீ³யதநயம் ஓநீஷிமம் அதி⁴ த்வாம்’ விநயே|
11 once unserviceable to thee, but now serviceable to thee and to me:
ஸ பூர்வ்வம்’ தவாநுபகாரக ஆஸீத் கிந்த்விதா³நீம்’ தவ மம சோபகாரீ ப⁴வதி|
12 whom I have sent back to thee: [but do thou receive] him, that is, my bowels:
தமேவாஹம்’ தவ ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரேஷயாமி, அதோ மதீ³யப்ராணஸ்வரூப: ஸ த்வயாநுக்³ரு’ஹ்யதாம்’|
13 whom I was desirous of keeping with myself, that for thee he might minister to me in the bonds of the glad tidings;
ஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்ய க்ரு’தே ஸ்²ரு’ங்க²லப³த்³தோ⁴(அ)ஹம்’ பரிசாரகமிவ தம்’ ஸ்வஸந்நிதௌ⁴ வர்த்தயிதும் ஐச்ச²ம்’|
14 but I have wished to do nothing without thy mind, that thy good might not be as of necessity but of willingness:
கிந்து தவ ஸௌஜந்யம்’ யத்³ ப³லேந ந பூ⁴த்வா ஸ்வேச்சா²யா: ப²லம்’ ப⁴வேத் தத³ர்த²ம்’ தவ ஸம்மதிம்’ விநா கிமபி கர்த்தவ்யம்’ நாமந்யே|
15 for perhaps for this reason he has been separated [from thee] for a time, that thou mightest possess him fully for ever; (aiōnios g166)
கோ ஜாநாதி க்ஷணகாலார்த²ம்’ த்வத்தஸ்தஸ்ய விச்சே²தோ³(அ)ப⁴வத்³ ஏதஸ்யாயம் அபி⁴ப்ராயோ யத் த்வம் அநந்தகாலார்த²ம்’ தம்’ லப்ஸ்யஸே (aiōnios g166)
16 not any longer as a bondman, but above a bondman, a beloved brother, specially to me, and how much rather to thee, both in [the] flesh and in [the] Lord?
புந ர்தா³ஸமிவ லப்ஸ்யஸே தந்நஹி கிந்து தா³ஸாத் ஸ்²ரேஷ்ட²ம்’ மம ப்ரியம்’ தவ ச ஸா²ரீரிகஸம்ப³ந்தா⁴த் ப்ரபு⁴ஸம்ப³ந்தா⁴ச்ச ததோ(அ)தி⁴கம்’ ப்ரியம்’ ப்⁴ராதரமிவ|
17 If therefore thou holdest me to be a partner [with thee], receive him as me;
அதோ ஹேதோ ர்யதி³ மாம்’ ஸஹபா⁴கி³நம்’ ஜாநாஸி தர்ஹி மாமிவ தமநுக்³ரு’ஹாண|
18 but if he have wronged thee anything or owe anything [to thee], put this to my account.
தேந யதி³ தவ கிமப்யபராத்³த⁴ம்’ துப்⁴யம்’ கிமபி தா⁴ர்ய்யதே வா தர்ஹி தத் மமேதி விதி³த்வா க³ணய|
19 I Paul have written [it] with mine own hand; I will repay [it]: that I say not to thee that thou owest even thine own self also to me.
அஹம்’ தத் பரிஸோ²த்ஸ்யாமி, ஏதத் பௌலோ(அ)ஹம்’ ஸ்வஹஸ்தேந லிகா²மி, யதஸ்த்வம்’ ஸ்வப்ராணாந் அபி மஹ்யம்’ தா⁴ரயஸி தத்³ வக்தும்’ நேச்சா²மி|
20 Yea, brother, I would have profit of thee in [the] Lord: refresh my bowels in Christ.
போ⁴ ப்⁴ராத: , ப்ரபோ⁴: க்ரு’தே மம வாஞ்சா²ம்’ பூரய க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய க்ரு’தே மம ப்ராணாந் ஆப்யாயய|
21 Being confident of thine obedience, I have written to thee, knowing that thou wilt do even more than I say.
தவாஜ்ஞாக்³ராஹித்வே விஸ்²வஸ்ய மயா ஏதத் லிக்²யதே மயா யது³ச்யதே ததோ(அ)தி⁴கம்’ த்வயா காரிஷ்யத இதி ஜாநாமி|
22 But withal prepare me also a lodging; for I hope that I shall be granted to you through your prayers.
தத்கரணஸமயே மத³ர்த²மபி வாஸக்³ரு’ஹம்’ த்வயா ஸஜ்ஜீக்ரியதாம்’ யதோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ப்ரார்த²நாநாம்’ ப²லரூபோ வர இவாஹம்’ யுஷ்மப்⁴யம்’ தா³யிஷ்யே மமேதி ப்ரத்யாஸா² ஜாயதே|
23 Epaphras salutes thee, my fellow-prisoner in Christ Jesus;
க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய யீஸா²: க்ரு’தே மயா ஸஹ ப³ந்தி³ரிபாப்²ரா
24 Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow-workmen.
மம ஸஹகாரிணோ மார்க ஆரிஷ்டார்கோ² தீ³மா லூகஸ்²ச த்வாம்’ நமஸ்காரம்’ வேத³யந்தி|
25 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be] with your spirit.
அஸ்மாகம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴ ர்யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்யாநுக்³ரஹோ யுஷ்மாகம் ஆத்மநா ஸஹ பூ⁴யாத்| ஆமேந்|
