Matthew 22
1 And Jesus answering spoke to them again in parables, saying,
୧ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ଜୀସୁ ପୁଣ୍ମ୍ବିକିନି କାତାତଲେ ଏଲେଇଚେସି,
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,
୨ଲାକପୂରୁତି ରା଼ଜି ଇଲେତାୟି, ର଼ ରାଜା ଲେହେଁ, ଏ଼ୱାସି ତାନି ମୀର୍ଏଣା ବୀହା ବ଼ଜି କିତେସି,
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.
୩ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ ବୀହା ବ଼ଜିତା ହା଼ଟାମାନି ଲ଼କୁଣି ବ଼ଜିତା ୱା଼ପେରିୱା ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ତାନି ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗାଣି ପାଣ୍ତିତେସି, ସାମା ଏ଼ୱାରି ୱା଼ହାଲି ମ଼ନ କିଆତେରି ।
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.
୪ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ଏଟ୍କାତି ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗାଣି ପାଣ୍ତାନା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ହା଼ଟି କିହାମାନି ଲ଼କୁଣି ୱେହ୍ଦୁ, ମେହ୍ଦୁ ନା଼ନୁ ନା଼ ବ଼ଜି ୱାଜା ମାଇଁ, ଆଙ୍ଗା ଆ଼ତି କ଼ଡିୟାଁ ପା଼ୟ୍ୱି ଆ଼ହାମାନୁ, ବାରେ ରା଼ନ୍ଦା ଆ଼ତେୟିଏ, ମୀରୁ ବୀହା ବ଼ଜିତା ୱା଼ଦୁ ।
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.
୫ସାମା ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ଅଣ୍ପାଆନା ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ତାମି ତା଼ସା କାମାତା ହାଚେରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଆମ୍ବା ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ତାମି ବେ଼ବାରା କିୟାଲି ହାଚେରି,
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew [them].
୬ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏଚରଜା଼ଣା ଲ଼କୁ ତାନି ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗାଣି ଆସାନା ପା଼ୟିତେରି ।
7 And [when] the king [heard of it he] was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.
୭ସାମା ରାଜା କ଼ପା ଆ଼ହାନା ତାନି କ଼ସ୍କାଣି ପାଣ୍ତାନା ଏ଼ ପା଼ୟିତାରାଇଁ ପା଼ୟି କିତେସି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ନା଼ସ୍କା ମ୍ଣେକ୍ହା ତୁସ୍ତେରି ।
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;
୮ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଏ଼ୱାସି ତାନି ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗାଣି ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ବୀହା ବ଼ଜି ଆ଼ହାମାନେ, ସାମା ହା଼ଟ୍କି ଆ଼ହାମାନି ଲ଼କୁ ପା଼ଡ଼ା ଆ଼ଆତାରି,
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.
୯ଏ଼ଦାଆଁତାକି ନୀଏଁ ମୀରୁ ଗା଼ଡ଼ାତି କାଜା ଡାଣ୍ତେଣାଁ ହାଜାନା, ଏଚରଜା଼ଣାତି ମେହ୍ଦେରି, ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ବୀହା ବ଼ଜିତା ହା଼ଟା ତାଦୁ ।
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.
୧୦ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଏ଼ ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗା କାଜା ଡାଣ୍ତେଣାଁ ହାଜାନା ଲାଗେଏ ପ଼ଲେଏତାରାଇଁ ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏଚେକା ନେହାଁରାଇଁ ମେସ୍ତେରି, ଏ଼ ବାରେତି ରୁଣ୍ତି କିହାନା ବୀହା ଇଲୁତା ତାତେରି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ୱା଼ହାମାନି ଲ଼କୁ ବୀହା ଇଲୁତା ନେଞ୍ଜିତେରି ।
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.
୧୧ସାମା ରାଜା ବୀହା ବ଼ଜିତା ୱା଼ହାମାନି ଲ଼କୁଣି ସିନିକିହାଲି ବିତ୍ରା ୱା଼ହାନା ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ବୀହା ହିମ୍ବରି ହୁଚାଆନା କୁଗାମାନି ରଅଣାଇଁ ମେସାନା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି,
12 And he says to him, [My] friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.
୧୨ଏ଼ ତ଼ଣେ, ନୀନୁ ବୀହା ହିମ୍ବରି ହୁଚାଆନା ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଇମ୍ବାଆଁ ୱା଼ତି? ସାମା ଏ଼ୱାସି ଏ଼ନି ହା଼ଡା ଆ଼ଆନା ଡ଼ୟିତେସି ।
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.
୧୩ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ରାଜା ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ହ଼ଲିୟାଙ୍ଗାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ଈୱାଣି କେସ୍କା କଡାୟାଁ ଦସାନା ପାଙ୍ଗାତି ଆନ୍ଦେରିତା ମେତ୍ହା ତୁହ୍ଦୁ, ଏମ୍ବାଆଁ ଡ଼ୀହିଁ ପାଲ୍କା ଟୀଟି କିନେସି ।
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.
୧୪ଇଚିହିଁ ହା଼ଟ୍କି ଆ଼ତି ଲ଼କୁ ହା଼ରେକା ଜା଼ଣା ସାମା ଆ଼ଚିତି ଲ଼କୁ ହା଼ରେକା ଊଣା ଜା଼ଣା ।
15 Then went the Pharisees and held a council how they might ensnare him in speaking.
୧୫ଏଚିବେ଼ଲା ପାରୁସିୟାଁ ହାଜାନା ଜୀସୁଇଁ ତାନି ୱେସ୍ତି କାତାଟି ଦ଼ହ ଦସାଲି ପାରୁ ପାରୀତେରି ।
16 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men's person;
୧୬ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଏ଼ୱାରି ହେରଦ ଗଚି ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଏଚେକା ଲ଼କୁତଲେ ତାମି ସୀସୁୟାଁଇଁ ଜୀସୁ ତା଼ଣା ୱେସା ପାଣ୍ତିତେରି, “ଏ଼ ଗୂରୁ ମା଼ମ୍ବୁ ପୁଞ୍ଜାମାନମି ନୀନୁ ସାତା ୱେହ୍ନାତି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ସାତା କିହିଁ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ଜିରୁ ଜା଼ପ୍ନାତି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ଆମ୍ବାଆରାଇଁ ଆଜଅତି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ପାର୍ଡ଼ା ବାଚିକିହିଁ ଜ଼ଲିନାତି ଆ଼ଏ ।
17 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?
୧୭ଈଦାଆଁତାକି ନୀନୁ ମାଙ୍ଗେ ୱେସ୍ତାମୁ, ନୀ ଅଣ୍ପୁତା ଏ଼ନାୟି ମାନେ? କାୟିସରକି ସିସ୍ତୁ ହୀନାୟ ମେ଼ରା କି ଆ଼ଏ?”
18 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?
୧୮ସାମା ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରି କାର୍ବି ପୁଞ୍ଜାନା ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଆଡ଼େ କୁଟୁ ଗାଟାତେରି ନାଙ୍ଗେ ଏ଼ନାଆଁତାକି ତାୟିପାରି କିହିମାଞ୍ଜାଦେରି?
19 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.
୧୯ଏ଼ ସିସ୍ତୁ ହୀନି ଟାକା ନାଙ୍ଗେ ହିୟାଦୁ ।” ଏମ୍ବାଟିଏ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ତା଼ଣା ର଼ ଟାକା ଆଦ୍ଲି ହୀତେରି ।
20 And he says to them, Whose [is] this image and superscription?
୨୦ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେଚେସି, “ଈ ଆଦ୍ଲି ଲାକ ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ଦ଼ରୁ ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ତା଼ର୍ୟୁଁ ବମା ମାନେ?”
21 They say to him, Caesar's. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar's to Caesar, and what is God's to God.
୨୧ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏଲେଇଚେରି, “କାୟିସରୱାୟି ।” ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଆତିହିଁ ଆମିନାୟି କାୟିସରୱାୟି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ କାୟିସରକି ହୀଦୁ, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଆମିନାୟି ମାହାପୂରୁୱାୟି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମାହାପୂରୁକି ହୀଦୁ ।”
22 And when they heard [him], they wondered, and left him, and went away.
୨୨ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା କାବାଆ଼ହାନା ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ପିସାଁ ହାଜାତୁସ୍ତେରି ।
23 On that day came to him Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection; and they demanded of him,
୨୩ହା଼କିଟି ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିନାୟି ହିଲେଏ ଇଞ୍ଜିମାନି ଏଚରଜା଼ଣା ସାଦୁକିୟାଁ ଏ଼ ଦିନା ଜୀସୁ ତା଼ଣା ୱା଼ହାନା ୱେଚେରି ।
24 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.
୨୪“ଏ଼ ଗୂରୁ ମ଼ସା ୱେସାମାଞ୍ଜାନେସି, ରଅସି ପ଼ଦି ପ଼ଦା ଆ଼ଆନା ହା଼ତିହିଁ ତାନି ତାୟି ତାନି ଡକ୍ରିନି ଇଟାନା ଏ଼ ହା଼ତାଣି କୂଡ଼ା ଏ଼ପାକିନେସି ।
25 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.
୨୫ମେହ୍ମୁ ମା଼ ତା଼ଣା ସା଼ତା ଜା଼ଣା ତାୟିୟାଁ ମାଚେରି; ତଲି ମୂଲୁ ତାସି ବୀହା ଆ଼ହାନା ହା଼ହାହାଚେସି, ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ କକାରି ପ଼ଦାୟାଁ ହିଲାଆତାକି ଏ଼ୱାସି ତାନି ଡକ୍ରିନି ତାନି ତାୟିକି ପିସାହାଚେସି;
26 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.
୨୬ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଜେ଼ଚତାସି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଜେ଼ଚତାସି ଏଲେକିହିଁ ସାତା ଜା଼ଣା ଜିକେଏ ହା଼ତେରି ।
27 And last of all the woman also died.
୨୭ବାରେତି ଡା଼ୟୁ ଏ଼ ଇୟାଟି ଜିକେଏ ହା଼ତେ ।
28 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?
୨୮ଆତିହିଁ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିନାଟି ଏ଼ ସାତା ଜା଼ଣା ବିତ୍ରା ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ଡକ୍ରି ଆ଼ନେ? ଇଚିହିଁ ବାରେଜା଼ଣା ଏ଼ଦାନି ବୀହା ଆ଼ହାମାଚେରି ।”
29 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.
୨୯ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ମୀରୁ ଦାର୍ମୁ ସା଼ସ୍ତେରି ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ମାହାପୂରୁତି ବା଼ଡ଼୍ୟୁ ପୁନାଆନା ନା଼ଡ଼ି ଆ଼ହିମାଞ୍ଜେରି ।
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.
୩୦ଇଚିହିଁ ହା଼ହାନା ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିସାରେ ଲ଼କୁ ବୀହା ଆ଼ଅରି, କି ବୀହା ହୀଅରି, ସାମା ଲାକପୂରୁତି ଦୂତୁୟାଁଲେହେଁ ଆ଼ନେରି ।
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,
୩୧ସାମା ହା଼ତାରି ୱେଣ୍ତେ ନିଙ୍ଗିନି କାତା ମାହାପୂରୁ ମିଙ୍ଗେ ଏ଼ନାଆଁ ୱେସାମାଞ୍ଜାନେସି ଏ଼ଦାଆଁ ମୀରୁ ପ଼ଡ଼ୱି ଅ଼ହାହିଲଅତେରି?
32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not God of [the] dead, but of [the] living.
୩୨ନା଼ନୁ ଅବ୍ରାହାମତି ମାହାପୂରୁ, ଇସାହାକତି ମାହାପୂରୁ, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଜାକୁବତି ମାହାପୂରୁତେଏଁ, ଏ଼ୱାସି ହା଼ତି ଲ଼କୁତି ମାହାପୂରୁ ଆ଼ଏ ସାମା ଜୀୱୁଗାଟାରି ମାହାପୂରୁ ।”
33 And when the crowds heard [it] they were astonished at his doctrine.
୩୩ଲ଼କୁ ବାରେ ଏ଼ୱାଣି ଜା଼ପ୍ନାଣି ୱେଞ୍ଜାନା କାବା ଆ଼ହାହାଚେରି ।
34 But the Pharisees, having heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, were gathered together.
୩୪ଜୀସୁଇଁ ସାଦୁକିୟାଁ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ୱେସାଲି ଆ଼ଡି ହିଲଅରି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ପୁଞ୍ଜାନା ପାରୁସିୟାଁ ବିତ୍ରାଟି ରୁଣ୍ତା ଆ଼ତେରି,
35 And one of them, a lawyer, demanded, tempting him, and saying,
୩୫ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ୱାରି ବିତ୍ରାଟି ମେ଼ରା ପୁନାସି ରଅସି ଜୀସୁଇଁ ତାୟିପାରିକିହିଁ ୱେଚେସି,
36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?
୩୬“ଗୂରୁ ବାରେ ହୁକୁମିକା ବିତ୍ରାଟି ଆମିନି ହୁକୁମି କାଜାୟି?”
37 And he said to him, Thou shalt love [the] Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy understanding.
୩୭ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, ନୀନୁ ନୀ ବାରେ ହିୟାଁ, ନୀ ବାରେ ଜୀୱୁ ବାରେ ଅଣ୍ପୁ ତଲେ ପ୍ରବୁ ନୀ ମାହାପୂରୁଇଁ ଜୀୱୁ ନ଼ମୁ ।
38 This is [the] great and first commandment.
୩୮ଈଦିଏ ବାରେ ହୁକୁମିକା କିହାଁ କାଜାୟି ଇଞ୍ଜାଁ ତଲିତି ହୁକୁମି ।
39 And [the] second is like it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
୩୯ଏ଼ଦାଣି ଜେ଼ଚତି ହୁକୁମି ଜିକେଏ ଏଲେକିହିଁଏ, ନୀନୁ ନୀ ପା଼ଡ଼ିତି ଲ଼କୁଣି ନୀ ଜୀୱୁତି ଜୀୱୁ ନ଼ହାଁ କଡିନି ଲେହେଁ ଜୀୱୁ ନ଼ମୁ ।
40 On these two commandments the whole law and the prophets hang.
୪୦ଈ ରୀ ହୁକୁମିତା ମ଼ସାତି ବାରେ ମେ଼ରା, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ମାହାପୂରୁ ଅଣ୍ପୁତି ବ଼ଲୁ ୱେହ୍ନାରି କାତା ମାଞ୍ଜାମାନେ ।
41 And the Pharisees being gathered together, Jesus demanded of them,
୪୧ପାରୁସିୟାଁ ରୁଣ୍ତା ଆ଼ହାମାଚାଟି ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ୱେଚେସି,
42 saying, What think ye concerning the Christ? whose son is he? They say to him, David's.
୪୨“କ୍ରୀସ୍ତଇଁ ମୀରୁ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ମୀରୁ ଅଣ୍ପିମାଞ୍ଜେରି? ଏ଼ୱାସି ଆମ୍ବାଆରି ମୀର୍ଏସି?” ଏ଼ୱାରି ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେରି “ଦାୱୁଦ ମୀର୍ଏସି ।”
43 He says to them, How then does David in Spirit call him Lord, saying,
୪୩ଜୀସୁ ଏ଼ୱାରାଇଁ ଏଲେଇଚେସି, “ଆତିହିଁ ଦାୱୁଦ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ସୁଦୁଜୀୱୁ ତଲେ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ପ୍ରବୁ ଇଞ୍ଜିଁ ମାଚେସି?” ଦାୱୁଦ ଏଲେଇଚେସି,
44 The Lord said to my Lord, Sit on my right hand until I put thine enemies under thy feet?
୪୪“ପ୍ରବୁ ନା଼ ପ୍ରବୁଇଁ ୱେସ୍ତେସି, ନା଼ନୁ ନୀ ସାତ୍ରୁୟାଁଣି ନୀ କଡାୟାଁ ଡ଼଼ଇ ଇଟାଆ ପାତେକା ନା଼ ଟିଃନି ଟଟତା କୁଗାମାନାମୁ ।
45 If therefore David call him Lord, how is he his son?
୪୫ଇଚିହିଁ ଦାୱୁଦ ତା଼ନୁଏ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ପ୍ରବୁ ଇଚିହିଁ, କ୍ରୀସ୍ତ ଏ଼ନିକିଁ ଦାୱୁଦ ମୀର୍ଏସି ଆ଼ନେସି?”
46 And no one was able to answer him a word, nor did any one dare from that day to question him any more.
୪୬ଏମ୍ବାଟି ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଜିକେଏ ଏ଼ୱାଣାଇଁ ୱେଣ୍ତେ ୱେସାଲି ଆ଼ଡାଆତେସି, ଅ଼ଡ଼େ ଏ଼ ନେ଼ଚୁଟିଏ ଆମ୍ବାଆସି ଜିକେଏ ଜୀସୁଇଁ ଏ଼ନି କାତା ୱେଞ୍ଜାଲି ସା଼ସା କିଆତେରି ।
