< Lamentations 3 >

1 I am the man that hath seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
Siak ti tao a nakapadas iti rigat babaen ti baut ti pungtot ni Yahweh.
2 Me hath he led, and brought into darkness, and not into light.
Pinapanawnak ken pinapagnanak iti kasipngetan a saan ket nga iti nalawag.
3 Surely against me hath he turned again and again his hand all the day.
Awan duadua a tinallikudannak; inaldaw a dusdusaennak.
4 My flesh and my skin hath he wasted away, he hath broken my bones.
Pinirpirsayna ti lasag ken kudilko; tinuktukkolna dagiti tultulangko.
5 He hath built against me, and encompassed [me] with gall and toil.
Nangaramid isuna kadagiti kasla bunton ti pitak iti aglawlawko, ken pinalawlawannak iti saem ken rigat.
6 He hath made me to dwell in dark places as those that have been long dead.
Pinagnaednak kadagiti nasisipnget a lugar, kas kadagiti nabayagen a natay.
7 He hath hedged me about that I cannot get out: he hath made my chain heavy.
Nangbangon isuna iti pader iti aglawlawko, ket saanak a makalibas. Inaramidna a nadagsen dagiti kawarko.
8 Even when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.
Uray no ipukkaw ken iyikkisko ti panagdawatko iti tulong, saanna latta nga ikaskaso dagiti kararagko.
9 He hath inclosed my ways with hewn stone, he hath made my paths crooked.
Sinerraanna ti dalanko iti pader a bato; amin a dalan a pagnaak ket awan pagturonganna.
10 He is unto me [as] a bear lying in wait, a lion in secret places.
Arigna ti maysa nga oso a nakasagana a mangkemmeg kaniak, kasla leon nga agpadpadaan.
11 He hath turned aside my ways, and pulled me in pieces; he hath made me desolate.
Pinagkillona ti dalanko. Pinirpirsaynak ken pinagbalinnak nga awan serserbina.
12 He hath bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
Imbiatna ti baina ket siak ti nangituronganna iti pana.
13 He hath caused the arrows of his quiver to enter into my reins.
Impuntana iti pusok dagiti pana a nagian ti pagikabkabilanna iti pana.
14 I am become a derision to all my people; their song all the day.
Pagkakatawaandak dagiti amin a tattaok, ti madakdakamat iti kantada a panglais iti inaldaw.
15 He hath sated me with bitterness, he hath made me drunk with wormwood.
Pinunnonak iti pait ken pinainumnak iti apro.
16 He hath also broken my teeth with gravel stones, he hath covered me with ashes.
Pinusina dagiti ngipenko babaen iti batbato; indumudomnak iti katapukan.
17 And thou hast removed my soul far off from peace: I have forgotten prosperity.
Inikkatmo ti talna iti biagko; awanen malagipko a kinaragsak.
18 And I said, My strength is perished, and my hope in Jehovah.
Isu a kinunak, “Napukawen ti kinaandurko, ken awanen ti namnamak kenni Yahweh.”
19 Remember thou mine affliction and my wandering, the wormwood and the gall.
Malagipko ti pannakaparigatko ken ti panagkatang-katangko a maiyarig iti napait nga apro.
20 My soul hath [them] constantly in remembrance, and is humbled in me.
Pudno a malaglagipko, ket aglusdoyak iti kinaawan namnamak.
21 — This I recall to heart, therefore have I hope.
Ngem panpanunotek daytoy, ket daytoy ti gapuna nga adda namnamak:
22 It is of Jehovah's loving-kindness we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not;
Babaen iti kinapudno ni Yahweh iti tulagna a saantayo a napapatay, ta saan nga agpatingga ti kinamanangaasina.
23 they are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Binigat a bumaro ti kinamanangaasina; naindaklan ti kinapudnom!
24 Jehovah is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.
“Ni Yahweh ti tawidko,” kinunak iti bagik, isu a mangnamnamaak kenkuana.
25 Jehovah is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul [that] seeketh him.
Nasayaat ni Yahweh kadagiti mangur-uray kenkuana, kadagiti biag a mangsapsapul kenkuana.
26 It is good that one should both wait, and that in silence, for the salvation of Jehovah.
Nasayaat ti siuulimek nga aguray iti panangisalakan ni Yahweh.
27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth:
Nasaysayaat a baklayen ti maysa a tao ti sangolna iti kinaagtutubona.
28 He sitteth solitary and keepeth silence, because he hath laid it upon him;
Agtugaw koma isuna nga agmaymaysa ken siuulimek, gapu ta isu ti impaay ni Yahweh kenkuana.
29 he putteth his mouth in the dust, if so be there may be hope;
Maipasubsob koma isuna iti katapukan, ket nalabit nga addanton ti namnama.
30 he giveth his cheek to him that smiteth him; he is filled full with reproach.
Itayana koma ti pingpingna iti nangtungpa kenkuana. Mapnoan koma isuna iti pannakalalais,
31 For the Lord will not cast off for ever;
ta saan nga agnanayon a laksiden isuna ti Apo!
32 but if he have caused grief, he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving-kindnesses:
Ta uray no mangiyeg isuna iti ladingit, ipakpakitana met ti asina gapu iti kinaindaklan ti kinapudnona iti tulagna.
33 for he doth not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men.
Ta saanna a pagaayat ti mangparparigat, wenno saanna a pagaayat a mangparparigat kadagiti annak dagiti tattao.
34 To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth,
Saanna a pagaayat ti pannakaibadde-baddek dagiti amin a balud ditoy daga,
35 to turn aside the right of a man before the face of the Most High,
saanna a pagaayat ti pannakaballikog ti kalintegan dagiti tattao iti imatang ti Kangatoan,
36 to wrong a man in his cause, — will not the Lord see it?
saanna a pagaayat ti saan a panangipaay dagiti pagukoman iti hustisia iti maysa a tao - makitkita ti Apo dagita.
37 Who is he that saith, and there cometh to pass, what the Lord hath not commanded?
Siasino koma ti makabael nga agsao ket mapasamak ti imbagana nga uray saan nga imbilin ti Apo?
38 Out of the mouth of the Most High doth not there proceed evil and good?
Saan kadi a santo laeng umadda ti didigra ken balligi babaen iti ngiwat ti Kangangatoan?
39 Wherefore doth a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
Kasano koma a makareklamo ti maysa a sibibiag a tao? Kasano koma a makareklamo ti maysa a tao maipanggep iti pannakadusana gapu kadagiti basbasolna?
40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to Jehovah.
Sukimatentayo a nalaing dagiti wagastayo, ken agsublitayo manen kenni Yahweh.
41 Let us lift up our heart with [our] hands unto God in the heavens.
Itag-aytayo koma dagiti puspuso ken im-imatayo iti Dios nga adda sadi langit ket ikararagtayo:
42 We have transgressed and have rebelled: thou hast not pardoned.
“Linabsing ken sinukirdaka, ket saannakami a pinakawan.
43 Thou hast covered thyself with anger, and pursued us; thou hast slain, thou hast not spared.
Arigna a binungonmo ti bagim iti pungtot ket kinamkamatnakami. Ken awanan asi a pinapataynakami.
44 Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that prayer should not pass through.
Arigna a binungonmo ti bagim iti ulep, tapno awan makalusot a kararag.
45 Thou hast made us the offscouring and refuse in the midst of the peoples.
Arigna a pinagbalinnakami a basura ken awan serserbina kadagiti tattao.
46 All our enemies have opened their mouth against us.
Inlukat dagiti amin a kabusormi dagiti ngiwatda tapno laisendakami.
47 Fear and the pit are come upon us, devastation and ruin.
Immay kadakami ti panagbuteng iti abut, pannakadadael ken pannakarumek.”
48 Mine eye runneth down with streams of water for the ruin of the daughter of my people.
Agarubos ti danum iti matak gapu iti pannakarumek ti babai nga anak dagiti tattaok.
49 Mine eye poureth down, and ceaseth not, without any intermission,
Agarubos ti luak kadagiti matak, ket saan nga agsardeng, ta awan pagpatinggaanna daytoy
50 till Jehovah look down and behold from the heavens.
agingga a tumman-aw ni Yahweh manipud iti langit.
51 Mine eye affecteth my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
Mangipapaay ti matak iti saem iti biagko gapu kadagiti amin a babbai nga annak ti siudadko.
52 They that are mine enemies without cause have chased me sore like a bird.
Kasta unay ti pananganup kaniak dagiti kabusorko nga uray awan gapgapuna.
53 They have cut off my life in a pit, and cast a stone upon me.
Dinadaelda ti biagko babaen iti bubon ken ginaburandak iti bato.
54 Waters streamed over my head; I said, I am cut off.
Linipusen ti danum ti ulok; kinunak, “Kanibusanakon!”
55 I called upon thy name, Jehovah, out of the lowest pit.
Immawagak iti naganmo, O Yahweh, manipud iti kaunegan nga abut.
56 Thou hast heard my voice: hide not thine ear at my sighing, at my cry.
Nangegmo ti timekko idi kinunak a, “Saanmo nga apputen ta lapayagmo iti panangawagko kenka tapno mabang-aranak, iti panagasugko nga agpapaarayat.”
57 Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee; thou saidst, Fear not.
Immasidegka idi aldaw nga inawaganka ket kunam kaniak, “Dika agbuteng!”
58 Lord, thou hast pleaded the cause of my soul, thou hast redeemed my life.
Apo, inkalintegannak idi addaak iti pangukoman; insalakanmo ti biagko!
59 Jehovah, thou hast seen my wrong: judge thou my cause.
O Yahweh, nakitam ti panangidaddadanesda kaniak. Ukomennak a sililinteg.
60 Thou hast seen all their vengeance, all their imaginations against me.
Nakitam dagiti amin a panangbalbalesda, dagiti amin a planoda maibusor kaniak.
61 Thou hast heard their reproach, O Jehovah, all their imaginations against me;
Nangegmo dagiti panaglalaisda, O Yahweh, ken dagiti amin a planoda maipapan kaniak.
62 the lips of those that rise up against me and their meditation against me all the day.
Nangegmo dagiti bibig dagidiay a bimmusor kaniak; nangngegmo dagiti agmalmalem a panpanunotenda a maibusor kaniak.
63 Behold thou their sitting down and their rising up: I am their song.
Kabayatan iti panagtugtugawda man wenno kabayatan iti panagtaktakderda, kitaem, O Yahweh! Siak ti madakdakamat iti kantada a panglais.
64 Render unto them a recompence, O Jehovah, according to the work of their hands;
Balsem ida, O Yahweh, a kas iti kinakaro ti inaramid dagiti imada.
65 give them obduracy of heart, thy curse unto them;
Ikkam iti panagbuteng dagiti puspusoda; idissuormo ti lunodmo kadakuada.
66 pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of Jehovah.
Sunsonem ida iti ungetmo ken dadaelem ida iti sadinoman nga ayanda iti baba ti langit, O Yahweh!
