Galatians 5
1 Christ has set us free in freedom; stand fast therefore, and be not held again in a yoke of bondage.
ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੋ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਯਤ੍ ਸ੍ਵਾਤਨ੍ਤ੍ਰ੍ਯੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍ ਯੂਯੰ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਸ੍ਥਿਰਾਸ੍ਤਿਸ਼਼੍ਠਤ ਦਾਸਤ੍ਵਯੁਗੇਨ ਪੁਨ ਰ੍ਨ ਨਿਬਧ੍ਯਧ੍ਵੰ|
2 Behold, I, Paul, say to you, that if ye are circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
ਪਸ਼੍ਯਤਾਹੰ ਪੌਲੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਵਦਾਮਿ ਯਦਿ ਛਿੰਨਤ੍ਵਚੋ ਭਵਥ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਨੋਪਕਾਰਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ|
3 And I witness again to every man [who is] circumcised, that he is debtor to do the whole law.
ਅਪਰੰ ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਤ੍ ਛਿੰਨਤ੍ਵਗ੍ ਭਵਤਿ ਸ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਸ੍ਨਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਯਾਃ ਪਾਲਨਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਾਯ ਧਾਰਯਤੀਤਿ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਣੰ ਦਦਾਮਿ|
4 Ye are deprived of all profit from the Christ as separated [from him], as many as are justified by law; ye have fallen from grace.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤੋ ਲੋਕਾ ਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਯਾ ਸਪੁਣ੍ਯੀਭਵਿਤੁੰ ਚੇਸ਼਼੍ਟਨ੍ਤੇ ਤੇ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਾਦ੍ ਭ੍ਰਸ਼਼੍ਟਾ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਾਤ੍ ਪਤਿਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ|
5 For we, by [the] Spirit, on the principle of faith, await the hope of righteousness.
ਯਤੋ ਵਯਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਾਤ੍ ਪੁਣ੍ਯਲਾਭਾਸ਼ਾਸਿੱਧੰ ਪ੍ਰਤੀਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾਮਹੇ|
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision has any force, nor uncircumcision; but faith working through love.
ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਯੀਸ਼ੌ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦਾਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦਯੋਃ ਕਿਮਪਿ ਗੁਣੰ ਨਾਸ੍ਤਿ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ੍ਨਾ ਸਫਲੋ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸ ਏਵ ਗੁਣਯੁਕ੍ਤਃ|
7 Ye ran well; who has stopped you that ye should not obey the truth?
ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਯੂਯੰ ਸੁਨ੍ਦਰਮ੍ ਅਧਾਵਤ ਕਿਨ੍ਤ੍ਵਿਦਾਨੀਂ ਕੇਨ ਬਾਧਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਯ ਸਤ੍ਯਤਾਂ ਨ ਗ੍ਰੁʼਹ੍ਲੀਥ?
8 The persuasibleness [is] not of him that calls you.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਸਾ ਮਤਿ ਰ੍ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਦਾਹ੍ਵਾਨਕਾਰਿਣ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਾੰਨ ਜਾਤਾ|
9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump.
ਵਿਕਾਰਃ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਸ੍ਨਸ਼ਕ੍ਤੂਨਾਂ ਸ੍ਵਲ੍ਪਕਿਣ੍ਵੇਨ ਜਸਯਤੇ|
10 I have confidence as to you in [the] Lord, that ye will have no other mind; and he that is troubling you shall bear the guilt [of it], whosoever he may be.
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਮਤਿ ਰ੍ਵਿਕਾਰੰ ਨ ਗਮਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤ੍ਯਹੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨਧਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁਨਾਸ਼ੰਸੇ; ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਵਿਚਾਰਲਯਤਿ ਸ ਯਃ ਕਸ਼੍ਚਿਦ੍ ਭਵੇਤ੍ ਸਮੁਚਿਤੰ ਦਣ੍ਡੰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪ੍ਸ੍ਯਤਿ|
11 But I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why am I yet persecuted? Then the scandal of the cross has been done away.
ਪਰਨ੍ਤੁ ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਃ, ਯਦ੍ਯਹਮ੍ ਇਦਾਨੀਮ੍ ਅਪਿ ਤ੍ਵਕ੍ਛੇਦੰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰਯੇਯੰ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਕੁਤ ਉਪਦ੍ਰਵੰ ਭੁਞ੍ਜਿਯ? ਤਤ੍ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੇ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੰ ਨਿਰ੍ੱਬਾਧਮ੍ ਅਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤ੍|
12 I would that they would even cut themselves off who throw you into confusion.
ਯੇ ਜਨਾ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਚਾਞ੍ਚਲ੍ਯੰ ਜਨਯਨ੍ਤਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਛੇਦਨਮੇਵ ਮਯਾਭਿਲਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ|
13 For ye have been called to liberty, brethren; only [do] not [turn] liberty into an opportunity to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
ਹੇ ਭ੍ਰਾਤਰਃ, ਯੂਯੰ ਸ੍ਵਾਤਨ੍ਤ੍ਰ੍ਯਾਰ੍ਥਮ੍ ਆਹੂਤਾ ਆਧ੍ਵੇ ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਤਤ੍ਸ੍ਵਾਤਨ੍ਤ੍ਰ੍ਯਦ੍ਵਾਰੇਣ ਸ਼ਾਰੀਰਿਕਭਾਵੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਨ ਪ੍ਰਵਿਸ਼ਤੁ| ਯੂਯੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ੍ਨਾ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਪਰਿਚਰ੍ੱਯਾਂ ਕੁਰੁਧ੍ਵੰ|
14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself;
ਯਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਤ੍ਵੰ ਸਮੀਪਵਾਸਿਨਿ ਸ੍ਵਵਤ੍ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੁਰ੍ੱਯਾ ਇਤ੍ਯੇਕਾਜ੍ਞਾ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਸ੍ਨਾਯਾ ਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਯਾਃ ਸਾਰਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਃ|
15 but if ye bite and devour one another, see that ye are not consumed one of another.
ਕਿਨ੍ਤੁ ਯੂਯੰ ਯਦਿ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਦੰਦਸ਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ (ਅ)ਸ਼ਾਸ਼੍ਯਧ੍ਵੇ ਚ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਏਕੋ(ਅ)ਨ੍ਯੇਨ ਯੰਨ ਗ੍ਰਸ੍ਯਤੇ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਸਾਵਧਾਨੈ ਰ੍ਭਵਿਤਵ੍ਯੰ|
16 But I say, Walk in [the] Spirit, and ye shall no way fulfil flesh's lust.
ਅਹੰ ਬ੍ਰਵੀਮਿ ਯੂਯਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਿਕਾਚਾਰੰ ਕੁਰੁਤ ਸ਼ਾਰੀਰਿਕਾਭਿਲਾਸ਼਼ੰ ਮਾ ਪੂਰਯਤ|
17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these things are opposed one to the other, that ye should not do those things which ye desire;
ਯਤਃ ਸ਼ਾਰੀਰਿਕਾਭਿਲਾਸ਼਼ ਆਤ੍ਮਨੋ ਵਿਪਰੀਤਃ, ਆਤ੍ਮਿਕਾਭਿਲਾਸ਼਼ਸ਼੍ਚ ਸ਼ਰੀਰਸ੍ਯ ਵਿਪਰੀਤਃ, ਅਨਯੋਰੁਭਯੋਃ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਵਿਰੋਧੋ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ ਤੇਨ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਯਦ੍ ਅਭਿਲਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੇ ਤੰਨ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯੰ|
18 but if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under law.
ਯੂਯੰ ਯਦ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਵਿਨੀਯਧ੍ਵੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਿ ਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾਯਾ ਅਧੀਨਾ ਨ ਭਵਥ|
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are fornication, uncleanness, licentiousness,
ਅਪਰੰ ਪਰਦਾਰਗਮਨੰ ਵੇਸ਼੍ਯਾਗਮਨਮ੍ ਅਸ਼ੁਚਿਤਾ ਕਾਮੁਕਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਮਾਪੂਜਨਮ੍
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, disputes, schools of opinion,
ਇਨ੍ਦ੍ਰਜਾਲੰ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵੰ ਵਿਵਾਦੋ(ਅ)ਨ੍ਤਰ੍ਜ੍ਵਲਨੰ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਃ ਕਲਹੋ(ਅ)ਨੈਕ੍ਯੰ
21 envyings, murders, drunkennesses, revels, and things like these; as to which I tell you beforehand, even as I also have said before, that they who do such things shall not inherit God's kingdom.
ਪਾਰ੍ਥਕ੍ਯਮ੍ ਈਰ੍ਸ਼਼੍ਯਾ ਵਧੋ ਮੱਤਤ੍ਵੰ ਲਮ੍ਪਟਤ੍ਵਮਿਤ੍ਯਾਦੀਨਿ ਸ੍ਪਸ਼਼੍ਟਤ੍ਵੇਨ ਸ਼ਾਰੀਰਿਕਭਾਵਸ੍ਯ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣਿ ਸਨ੍ਤਿ| ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਯਦ੍ਵਤ੍ ਮਯਾ ਕਥਿਤੰ ਤਦ੍ਵਤ੍ ਪੁਨਰਪਿ ਕਥ੍ਯਤੇ ਯੇ ਜਨਾ ਏਤਾਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਾਨਿ ਕਰ੍ੰਮਾਣ੍ਯਾਚਰਨ੍ਤਿ ਤੈਰੀਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਰਾਜ੍ਯੇ(ਅ)ਧਿਕਾਰਃ ਕਦਾਚ ਨ ਲਪ੍ਸ੍ਯਤੇ|
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, fidelity,
ਕਿਞ੍ਚ ਪ੍ਰੇਮਾਨਨ੍ਦਃ ਸ਼ਾਨ੍ਤਿਸ਼੍ਚਿਰਸਹਿਸ਼਼੍ਣੁਤਾ ਹਿਤੈਸ਼਼ਿਤਾ ਭਦ੍ਰਤ੍ਵੰ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸ੍ਯਤਾ ਤਿਤਿਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਾ
23 meekness, self-control: against such things there is no law.
ਪਰਿਮਿਤਭੋਜਿਤ੍ਵਮਿਤ੍ਯਾਦੀਨ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਨਃ ਫਲਾਨਿ ਸਨ੍ਤਿ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧਾ ਕਾਪਿ ਵ੍ਯਵਸ੍ਥਾ ਨਹਿ|
24 But they that [are] of the Christ have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts.
ਯੇ ਤੁ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਲੋਕਾਸ੍ਤੇ ਰਿਪੁਭਿਰਭਿਲਾਸ਼਼ੈਸ਼੍ਚ ਸਹਿਤੰ ਸ਼ਾਰੀਰਿਕਭਾਵੰ ਕ੍ਰੁਸ਼ੇ ਨਿਹਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
25 If we live by the Spirit, let us walk also by the Spirit.
ਯਦਿ ਵਯਮ੍ ਆਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਜੀਵਾਮਸ੍ਤਰ੍ਹ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਿਕਾਚਾਰੋ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਭਿਃ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯਃ,
26 Let us not become vain-glorious, provoking one another, envying one another.
ਦਰ੍ਪਃ ਪਰਸ੍ਪਰੰ ਨਿਰ੍ਭਰ੍ਤ੍ਸਨੰ ਦ੍ਵੇਸ਼਼ਸ਼੍ਚਾਸ੍ਮਾਭਿ ਰ੍ਨ ਕਰ੍ੱਤਵ੍ਯਾਨਿ|
