Galatians 3
1 O senseless Galatians, who has bewitched you; to whom, as before your very eyes, Jesus Christ has been portrayed, crucified [among you]?
ஹே நிர்ப்³போ³தா⁴ கா³லாதிலோகா: , யுஷ்மாகம்’ மத்⁴யே க்ருஸே² ஹத இவ யீஸு²: க்²ரீஷ்டோ யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஸமக்ஷம்’ ப்ரகாஸி²த ஆஸீத் அதோ யூயம்’ யதா² ஸத்யம்’ வாக்யம்’ ந க்³ரு’ஹ்லீத² ததா² கேநாமுஹ்யத?
2 This only I wish to learn of you, Have ye received the Spirit on the principle of works of law, or of [the] report of faith?
அஹம்’ யுஷ்மத்த: கதா²மேகாம்’ ஜிஜ்ஞாஸே யூயம் ஆத்மாநம்’ கேநாலப⁴த்⁴வம்’? வ்யவஸ்தா²பாலநேந கிம்’ வா விஸ்²வாஸவாக்யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரவணேந?
3 Are ye so senseless? having begun in Spirit, are ye going to be made perfect in flesh?
யூயம்’ கிம் ஈத்³ரு’க்³ அபோ³தா⁴ யத்³ ஆத்மநா கர்ம்மாரப்⁴ய ஸ²ரீரேண தத் ஸாத⁴யிதும்’ யதத்⁴வே?
4 Have ye suffered so many things in vain, if indeed also in vain?
தர்ஹி யுஷ்மாகம்’ கு³ருதரோ து³: க²போ⁴க³: கிம்’ நிஷ்ப²லோ ப⁴விஷ்யதி? குப²லயுக்தோ வா கிம்’ ப⁴விஷ்யதி?
5 He therefore who ministers to you the Spirit, and works miracles among you, [is it] on the principle of works of law, or of [the] report of faith?
யோ யுஷ்மப்⁴யம் ஆத்மாநம்’ த³த்தவாந் யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴ய ஆஸ்²சர்ய்யாணி கர்ம்மாணி ச ஸாதி⁴தவாந் ஸ கிம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²பாலநேந விஸ்²வாஸவாக்யஸ்ய ஸ்²ரவணேந வா தத் க்ரு’தவாந்?
6 Even as Abraham believed God, and it was reckoned to him as righteousness.
லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, இப்³ராஹீம ஈஸ்²வரே வ்யஸ்²வஸீத் ஸ ச விஸ்²வாஸஸ்தஸ்மை புண்யார்த²ம்’ க³ணிதோ ப³பூ⁴வ,
7 Know then that they that are on the principle of faith, these are Abraham's sons;
அதோ யே விஸ்²வாஸாஸ்²ரிதாஸ்த ஏவேப்³ராஹீம: ஸந்தாநா இதி யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாயதாம்’|
8 and the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the nations on the principle of faith, announced beforehand the glad tidings to Abraham: In thee all the nations shall be blessed.
ஈஸ்²வரோ பி⁴ந்நஜாதீயாந் விஸ்²வாஸேந ஸபுண்யீகரிஷ்யதீதி பூர்வ்வம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வா ஸா²ஸ்த்ரதா³தா பூர்வ்வம் இப்³ராஹீமம்’ ஸுஸம்’வாத³ம்’ ஸ்²ராவயந ஜகா³த³, த்வத்தோ பி⁴ந்நஜாதீயா: ஸர்வ்வ ஆஸி²ஷம்’ ப்ராப்ஸ்யந்தீதி|
9 So that they who are on the principle of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.
அதோ யே விஸ்²வாஸாஸ்²ரிதாஸ்தே விஸ்²வாஸிநேப்³ராஹீமா ஸார்த்³த⁴ம் ஆஸி²ஷம்’ லப⁴ந்தே|
10 For as many as are on the principle of works of law are under curse. For it is written, Cursed is every one who does not continue in all things which [are] written in the book of the law to do them;
யாவந்தோ லோகா வ்யவஸ்தா²யா: கர்ம்மண்யாஸ்²ரயந்தி தே ஸர்வ்வே ஸா²பாதீ⁴நா ப⁴வந்தி யதோ லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, யதா², "ய: கஸ்²சித்³ ஏதஸ்ய வ்யவஸ்தா²க்³ரந்த²ஸ்ய ஸர்வ்வவாக்யாநி நிஸ்²சித்³ரம்’ ந பாலயதி ஸ ஸ²ப்த இதி| "
11 but that by law no one is justified with God [is] evident, because The just shall live on the principle of faith;
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸாக்ஷாத் கோ(அ)பி வ்யவஸ்த²யா ஸபுண்யோ ந ப⁴வதி தத³ வ்யக்தம்’ யத: "புண்யவாந் மாநவோ விஸ்²வாஸேந ஜீவிஷ்யதீதி" ஸா²ஸ்த்ரீயம்’ வச: |
12 but the law is not on the principle of faith; but, He that shall have done these things shall live by them.
வ்யவஸ்தா² து விஸ்²வாஸஸம்ப³ந்தி⁴நீ ந ப⁴வதி கிந்த்வேதாநி ய: பாலயிஷ்யதி ஸ ஏவ தை ர்ஜீவிஷ்யதீதிநியமஸம்ப³ந்தி⁴நீ|
13 Christ has redeemed us out of the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for it is written, Cursed [is] every one hanged upon a tree, )
க்²ரீஷ்டோ(அ)ஸ்மாந் பரிக்ரீய வ்யவஸ்தா²யா: ஸா²பாத் மோசிதவாந் யதோ(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ விநிமயேந ஸ ஸ்வயம்’ ஸா²பாஸ்பத³மப⁴வத் தத³தி⁴ லிகி²தமாஸ்தே, யதா², "ய: கஸ்²சித் தராவுல்லம்ப்³யதே ஸோ(அ)பி⁴ஸ²ப்த இதி| "
14 that the blessing of Abraham might come to the nations in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
தஸ்மாத்³ க்²ரீஷ்டேந யீஸு²நேவ்ராஹீம ஆஸீ² ர்பி⁴ந்நஜாதீயலோகேஷு வர்த்ததே தேந வயம்’ ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாதம் ஆத்மாநம்’ விஸ்²வாஸேந லப்³து⁴ம்’ ஸ²க்நும: |
15 Brethren, (I speak according to man, ) even man's confirmed covenant no one sets aside, or adds other dispositions to.
ஹே ப்⁴ராத்ரு’க³ண மாநுஷாணாம்’ ரீத்யநுஸாரேணாஹம்’ கத²யாமி கேநசித் மாநவேந யோ நியமோ நிரசாயி தஸ்ய விக்ரு’தி ர்வ்ரு’த்³தி⁴ ர்வா கேநாபி ந க்ரியதே|
16 But to Abraham were the promises addressed, and to his seed: he does not say, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed; which is Christ.
பரந்த்விப்³ராஹீமே தஸ்ய ஸந்தாநாய ச ப்ரதிஜ்ஞா: ப்ரதி ஸு²ஸ்²ருவிரே தத்ர ஸந்தாநஸ²ப்³த³ம்’ ப³ஹுவசநாந்தம் அபூ⁴த்வா தவ ஸந்தாநாயேத்யேகவசநாந்தம்’ ப³பூ⁴வ ஸ ச ஸந்தாந: க்²ரீஷ்ட ஏவ|
17 Now I say this, A covenant confirmed beforehand by God, the law, which took place four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.
அதஏவாஹம்’ வதா³மி, ஈஸ்²வரேண யோ நியம: புரா க்²ரீஷ்டமதி⁴ நிரசாயி தத: பரம்’ த்ரிம்’ஸ²த³தி⁴கசது: ஸ²தவத்ஸரேஷு க³தேஷு ஸ்தா²பிதா வ்யவஸ்தா² தம்’ நியமம்’ நிரர்த²கீக்ரு’த்ய ததீ³யப்ரதிஜ்ஞா லோப்தும்’ ந ஸ²க்நோதி|
18 For if the inheritance [be] on the principle of law, [it is] no longer on the principle of promise; but God gave it in grace to Abraham by promise.
யஸ்மாத் ஸம்பத³தி⁴காரோ யதி³ வ்யவஸ்த²யா ப⁴வதி தர்ஹி ப்ரதிஜ்ஞயா ந ப⁴வதி கிந்த்வீஸ்²வர: ப்ரதிஜ்ஞயா தத³தி⁴காரித்வம் இப்³ராஹீமே (அ)த³தா³த்|
19 Why then the law? It was added for the sake of transgressions, until the seed came to whom the promise was made, ordained through angels in [the] hand of a mediator.
தர்ஹி வ்யவஸ்தா² கிம்பூ⁴தா? ப்ரதிஜ்ஞா யஸ்மை ப்ரதிஸ்²ருதா தஸ்ய ஸந்தாநஸ்யாக³மநம்’ யாவத்³ வ்யபி⁴சாரநிவாரணார்த²ம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²பி த³த்தா, ஸா ச தூ³தைராஜ்ஞாபிதா மத்⁴யஸ்த²ஸ்ய கரே ஸமர்பிதா ச|
20 But a mediator is not of one, but God is one.
நைகஸ்ய மத்⁴யஸ்தோ² வித்³யதே கிந்த்வீஸ்²வர ஏக ஏவ|
21 [Is] then the law against the promises of God? Far be the thought. For if a law had been given able to quicken, then indeed righteousness were on the principle of law;
தர்ஹி வ்யவஸ்தா² கிம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாநாம்’ விருத்³தா⁴? தந்ந ப⁴வது| யஸ்மாத்³ யதி³ ஸா வ்யவஸ்தா² ஜீவநதா³நேஸமர்தா²ப⁴விஷ்யத் தர்ஹி வ்யவஸ்த²யைவ புண்யலாபோ⁴(அ)ப⁴விஷ்யத்|
22 but the scripture has shut up all things under sin, that the promise, on the principle of faith of Jesus Christ, should be given to those that believe.
கிந்து யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்டே யோ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்தத்ஸம்ப³ந்தி⁴யா: ப்ரதிஜ்ஞாயா: ப²லம்’ யத்³ விஸ்²வாஸிலோகேப்⁴யோ தீ³யதே தத³ர்த²ம்’ ஸா²ஸ்த்ரதா³தா ஸர்வ்வாந் பாபாதீ⁴நாந் க³ணயதி|
23 But before faith came, we were guarded under law, shut up to faith [which was] about to be revealed.
அதஏவ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்யாநாக³தஸமயே வயம்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²தீ⁴நா: ஸந்தோ விஸ்²வாஸஸ்யோத³யம்’ யாவத்³ ருத்³தா⁴ இவாரக்ஷ்யாமஹே|
24 So that the law has been our tutor up to Christ, that we might be justified on the principle of faith.
இத்த²ம்’ வயம்’ யத்³ விஸ்²வாஸேந ஸபுண்யீப⁴வாமஸ்தத³ர்த²ம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ஸமீபம் அஸ்மாந் நேதும்’ வ்யவஸ்தா²க்³ரதோ²(அ)ஸ்மாகம்’ விநேதா ப³பூ⁴வ|
25 But, faith having come, we are no longer under a tutor;
கிந்த்வது⁴நாக³தே விஸ்²வாஸே வயம்’ தஸ்ய விநேதுரநதீ⁴நா அப⁴வாம|
26 for ye are all God's sons by faith in Christ Jesus.
க்²ரீஷ்டே யீஸௌ² விஸ்²வஸநாத் ஸர்வ்வே யூயம் ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய ஸந்தாநா ஜாதா: |
27 For ye, as many as have been baptised unto Christ, have put on Christ.
யூயம்’ யாவந்தோ லோகா: க்²ரீஷ்டே மஜ்ஜிதா அப⁴வத ஸர்வ்வே க்²ரீஷ்டம்’ பரிஹிதவந்த: |
28 There is no Jew nor Greek; there is no bondman nor freeman; there is no male and female; for ye are all one in Christ Jesus:
அதோ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே யிஹூதி³யூநாநிநோ ர்தா³ஸஸ்வதந்த்ரயோ ர்யோஷாபுருஷயோஸ்²ச கோ(அ)பி விஸே²ஷோ நாஸ்தி; ஸர்வ்வே யூயம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டே யீஸா²வேக ஏவ|
29 but if ye [are] of Christ, then ye are Abraham's seed, heirs according to promise.
கிஞ்ச யூயம்’ யதி³ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய ப⁴வத² தர்ஹி ஸுதராம் இப்³ராஹீம: ஸந்தாநா: ப்ரதிஜ்ஞயா ஸம்பத³தி⁴காரிணஸ்²சாத்⁴வே|
